Pros: Location: Perfectly situated near The Grand Palace, Emerald Temple, and Khao San Road—great for sightseeing. Walk 10 mins to Phra Arthit pier and catch the hop on and off boat along the river! Staff: Beautiful, friendly, and incredibly helpful staff made my stay enjoyable. Comfort: Beds are comfortable, and the privacy curtains are a fantastic bonus. The top bunk stair design is much better than those noisy metal bars, adding to the overall comfort. Breakfast: Fast service, good portioned meal to kick off the day. Overall, a solid choice for location and comfort, but keep in mind the social aspects if you're looking to connect with fellow travelers.

Cons: Social Atmosphere: If you’re traveling solo and looking to meet new people, the hostel's layout—primarily a dining area with bar stools—doesn't foster much interaction. It might be challenging to engage in conversation unless you’re naturally extroverted. Room Size: The rooms aren’t as spacious as they appear in the photos, especially if you're traveling with a suitcase rather than a backpack. While not cramped, they didn't quite meet my expectations based on the images.

Easy to reach to the old city attractions. A4 bus nearby connects to the airport. Staff is helpful. Rooms and the general areas are clean and taken good care of.

To benefit from the roof top view, which is in many photos, one must at any condition order something. You can not say, let me basically enjoy the view and read my book. No order, no seating, no view.

Fantastic facilities for people looking for a more luxurious experience. I stayed in a top bunk in a 4 bed room and it was so comfortable. The fridge was an added bonus. (Be aware that alcohol/food in the rooms isn’t allowed). This was a quiet hostel and not overly social so if you want a party place it’s best to book somewhere else. The showers were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a hostel (and I’ve been in many) and all areas were super clean with plenty of dust and paper towels. I didn’t get the chance to have breakfast both mornings but on the second morning I checked out at 5.30am and they made me breakfast to takeaway - lovely service!

Nothing.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Printing House Poshtel. The reception is opened 24/7, the staff is very kind and welcoming, always willing to help with anything. I had booked 2 nights and ended up extending, staying in different dorms each time. The place is super clean, beds are comfy and feel like a small private bedroom with privacy curtains, hangers for your clothes, and even a TV ! (which I didn't use but I liked the idea !). It's not a party place but you can still easily meet people and socialise with fellow travellers. Walking distance to lots of cultural sites and to crazy Khao San Road but located in a more quiet area so that you can still rest. The streets around the hostel feel very safe to walk around. Breakfast is served late and you get to choose from 3 or 4 different options, and you get free coffee and filtered water all day long. Roof top bar has nice views on the city. Thanks to all the team, I'll stay there again if I go back to Bangkok.

The 4 beds dorm feels a bit cramped and has no window, I only stayed 1 night in that one and asked them to move me back to a 6 beds dorm which was much nicer :)

I’ve tried a couple of hostels in the area but by far this is the best. The rooms are very neat and clean but you could see a bit of wear and tear which adds uniqueness to this place. The pillow and mattress are comfortable, you have some nice block out curtains and they provide you a locker and a small safety box (wooden) next to your bed. Most of the staff are amazing but there’s one guy that stood out amongst all of them, Aldwin would assist you on anything this guy is very helpful, very easy to approach and such dedication to his work! Loves what he does for sure and extent this even beyond his working hours and duty. He accompanied me to some places that he knows about that has authentic experience, and this guy will not upset you!!! 10/10 The only guys I see around and doesn’t stop moving around. 😂

The room at some point was dirty specially the toilet, I know they clean it often but its also the responsibility of the guest to make sure its clean. i just had a bunch of young bad roomies during my stay but overall manageable.

The location is very easy to be spotted, by walking distance, you could reach some iconic spots such as the Kaoshan Night Market, Old Siam Plaza and lots of big temples too including Grand Palace. There are 24/7 7-11 for you at night in case with everything you need. Overall the experience with the pricing is exceeding my expectations.

The air con issue, even the temp goes really low, since the bed is far from the A/C, that feels hot and I haven’t had the best sleep since will wake up in the midnight as sweaty. The towel part is a way to improve as well, very stained, you won’t feel like to make use of it. I wish there are more options for breakfasts, knowing it’s included which is amazing, the options could be added so it will feel nicer. The staff wise, they provide nice service yet it would have been nicer if they are more engaging with the guests.

Bangkok is a big city, and go to every point of interest is hard. But this hostel was in a really strategic place. I was to a walk distance from 2 awesome temples. And just a 5 -10 mins tuk tuk ride from china town and skyscrapers. I couldn’t not eat the breakfast because I had to leave before the breakfast time.

Only one thing that made me thought I ruined my trip: the lobby guy forgot to gave me the passport when I did check in. I stayed only one night. I arrived in the morning and went around the city before my connection flight next day in the morning. On my way back to the hostel I noticed I did not have my passport. I panicked a lot. The last thing I did -crossing my fingers- was to ask the receptionist, they barely understood my English, but thank God they had my passport stored in one of their folders.

Very comfortable stay. The dorms had wooden stairs instead of risky ladders. Curtains were good for privacy. Bed and mattress was comfy and you get a personal TV screen too. A small locker with bed and another one for big luggage was provided. They even gave the padlock to use. Superb and extremely convenient location, many good cafes and restaurants around. The overall vibe of hostel as well as around is amazing and added to my overall experience of Bangkok. The entire area surrounding this hostel is very charming. I could walk to the boat pier for Wat Arun and even to Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Khao San Road etc. Giant Swing was almost behind. The Blue line Sam Yot station is approx 1 km so it was helpful too. Reception staff was very helpful although restaurant staff could be more attentive. Breakfast was okay, nothing to complain but nothing amazing too. Hostel has a lift too, very helpful as my room was at 4th floor. I would book this hostel again without any doubt if I am in Bangkok.

I deducted one star because when I was trying to find to hostel, the person disconnected the call as I had trouble understanding instructions as I had unpopped Airplane ears that time. He could have been more patient considering I was alone trying to find the location at midnight.

This backpackers was located at a very good place which are closed to all visiting points. Staffs are friendly and helpful. A lovely roof top bar at 5th floor and wide balcony in girl’s room. I haven’t had breakfast during my stay, but the restaurant menu seems to be very nice for lunch and dinner. 24 hours hot water to drink and they offered black coffee power. Happy to go back again:)

Shower water wasn’t very hot and the public/private toilet need to be take more care on cleanness. Be careful the check out time, anyone check out after 12 am will be charged 300 tb for delay fee.
