Pleasant room and amenities! The owner was lovely. In a great location too.

The local neighbours were very loud early in the morning. I got woken up around 4am two out of three nights.

Hidden Lumpu has a nice casual homely feel to it. It is in a neighborhood quite different from the bustle of the Khao San area, but close enough if you want a lively nightlife

In the ground floor rooms one can hear the banging around and heavy footsteps and loud talk from the rooms above. I suppose it depends on whether the backpackers upstairs are considerate or not.One night, I was unlucky enough to hear very heavy footsteps and the sound of furniture being dragged around as if they were moving beds and the racket didn't stop till late into the night. I couldn't understand why anyone could make that much noise at night time. A large notice in that area might be helpful because perhaps the people up there don't realise how loud they can be.

Nice little place a,hidden from the noise of Kao San Road, but not far from the center of the action. Shops, bar ,restaurant,7/11, boat pier, everything walkable in 5 to 10 Mins. Room are basic but nice Bathroom is small..but still okay. Warm water,as u will ever need it being in BKK is better to have cold shower to feel fresh after a long day of walking in the sun and hot weather. Small fridge, small terrace,A.C.,fan,big beds, matress is the hard king tipical of thai..but still comfortable. I will recommend the place if I are on a budget or if you don't need to much while travelling.

First of all I like the neighborhood. If I go to Bangkok, I stay there. My room was not in the main building but 3 doors down the same small alley. Usually it is very quiet day and night. The room itself is more an AirBnB and not the usual hotel room. A high table with a chair, two comfy chairs with a table. A bed table with a small chair, towel rack and closet. Big bed with good mattress. AC is working fine. Really hot water in the shower - all good.

There is a water pump about 1 meter from the bed outside the window, and it goes on and off round the clock. You can hear the people upstairs walking and talking as it is a wood building. So if you are noise sensitive you will need ear plugs.

+ very good value for money It is a budget accommodation so if you are expecting the same standard of a fancy hotel you will be dissapointend but for what you pay it's amazing value + AC is working well + Has fridge, tea kettle + Location is in a smaller alley but near khao san road + Nice double bed with nice pillows + Room is more spacious than expected + Reliable late check in +Quiet + Clean If you are looking to not spend a lot, than I can definitely recommend this place. Nice for budget travellers. It's simple but comfy and has all one could need

- seems like there is some mold on some of the ceiling/wall -staff isn't really around Bathroom is basic and not looking fancy but I didn't mind as it was clean

Very comfortable and spacious room equipped with everything we needed ( inc a large fridge). It was tucked away down a quiet street but still centrally located. Only a 20 min walk to the grand palace and 5 min walk to the pier to catch the boat. The hosts were also very friendly and responsive. We had an evening train to catch so they allowed us a late check out for a small fee. Highly recommend Hidden Lumpu.

A very quiet part of the city, really enjoyed being tucked away in almost a private area. The room was spacious and clean and had great AC. Easy to walk to the river for a ferry, easy to find a tuktuk. There's a great vegetarian restaurant called Jeng noodle nearby. And the staff was incredible, very responsive on booking.com. Loved this place!

Be aware that the bathroom room is also the shower area—this actually did not bother me a lot because the floor dries very quickly and it's a very easy way to save space. I just think people should know! It is not a bad thing at all, just a surprise.

Fantastic little hidden location, right by the river and some excellent food spots, a motorcycle rental and laundry. 5 mins to a bus stop into town, and a ferry stop. Close enough to Khao San Rd but not too close. We booked a double private room - Cute little room with kettle, fridge, air con, storage space. Staff were friendly, I think we were lucky with timing for our check-in. Felt secure and safe given the door locking and the padlock. Highly recommend.

Perfectly located close to the Khaosan Road (5-10 Min) walking distance, but in a very quiet area. Room was clean and well equipped, typical small Thailand bathroom with shower right next to the toilet. Laundry can be done right next door for only little money. Late check out was not possible due to new guests coming but we could still storage our backpacks the last day and have a shower in the evening before we left.

Staff had difficulties speaking English, but we communicated with a translator app, so it worked out.

Really lovely room! Nice size with good furnishings. There was a Kettle in the room and seating as well. Working aircon and hot water in the bathroom. Shampoo and shower gel provided as well. The room was clean and really comfortable. There is a communal fridge you can use and lots of books to read. It is in a nice residential area not too far away from the ferry and main sights. We really liked this place!

When we came to check in there was no one around or a number to call. We eventually found someone who told us to come back at 12. When we returned we had to wait for an hour until we saw someone. Not a big issue but they could communicate more to make the check in smoother.
