Super amazing breakfast . Staff was always wonderful. Everything was attention to detail. From design, coffee to food and service.I love the design and thank you also for my free bike tour.my kids loved it! The cafe is amazing. I am thrilled with every bit of the paint works on the walls and the uniqueness of all the small note welcome and leaving messages as well as a little gift before we left. They really thoughtful about everything .

Though it didn’t have own laundry facilities we were allowed to use another local hotels amenities which was great, The road is going through major construction works till late. But warned us in advance and gave us a discount, which is acceptable, through no fault of their own.

The Old Capital Bike Inn was such an oasis for us during our 3 days in Bangkok! We wanted to stay somewhere cozy to get a break from the hustle & bustle, and this place was perfect. The moment we got there, exhausted & sweaty after a 35+ hour journey from Canada, we were welcomed in and given iced tea and a snack. Our loft room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with a combination of bicycle paraphernalia, antiques, and hand-painted wall murals. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable - the air conditioner worked amazingly well, and the shower was lovely. We really appreciated the fresh drinking water provided and the little gift left on our bed each day with a handwritten note! Jason and every single other staff member we interacted with were genuinely friendly, sweet, and helpful. They would chat with us, go over maps, help with arranging transportation, and offer lots of great suggestions about where to visit & eat. We loved Make Me Mango Cafe and Eagle's Nest Rooftop Bar :) The inn was very conveniently located for us as tourists - just across the road from the gorgeous Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin, <10 minutes on foot from Wat Saket (The Golden Mount) and Maha Chai Road (lots of great places to eat here including Thipsamai), <15 minutes on foot from the Khaosan Road area, and approx. 30 minutes on foot from Old Town attractions like Wat Pho, The Grand Palace & The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the Amulet Market. We had no issues getting around and felt safe day & night. We also LOVED the delicious coffee and generous Thai breakfasts (Western food options were available as well) served each morning, it definitely helped us start each day off happily. We are back home now and miss those breakfasts! Overall, we would come back to Old Capital Bike Inn in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone! It helped make our time in Bangkok unforgettable.

Your high standard of hospitality was up there. The location - easily accessible by various forms of transport, with Khao San Road also within walking reach (20 mins). Your breakfast- with the array of variety was of a high quality. Absolutely impressive - delicious! The evening bike excursion that you organise - covering the sights of Bangkok’s Old Quarter was one of the enjoyable highlights.

The stairs up to your beautiful guest rooms- and sometimes internally - might not be too suitable for the older demographic which may possess mobility issues.

This beautifully decorated, boutique-like hotel is an oasis in the middle of the city jungle. When we arrived, hot and exhausted, a welcome drink (delicious ice tea), the lobby's smooth jazz music and a super kind receptionist immediately boosted our mood. And things got only better from there! So many details that made our stay not only comfortable, but also memorable: great "à la carte" breakfast, including a take-away option if you leave early, the evening bike tour (made our day and we would definitely recommended it!), small souvenirs and short hand-written messages left in our room every day, and many more. You can arrange everything at the reception quickly and with discounts: fixed taxi fares, massages, even a swimming pool day pass in another hotel (minutes away) for pennies. Also, we really appreciated the honesty of the hotel when they proactively informed us about a nearby construction (which didn't bother us at all in any case), and we liked that they actually executed their environment-friendly approach properly (not changing our towels and sheets every day if we didn't want to). The owner is a great guy, speaks perfect English (like all the staff) and you can tell he's put his heart into this place. It's definitely been one of our trip's highlights and we would recommend it to everyone, especially if you appreciate accommodation gems with character and are not a fan of 'mass tourism'.

I would score it 11 out of 10 if possible! This hotel goes straight to the top the list of best hotels we ever stayed in. Such a great atmosphere. Beautiful style of decorating. Brilliant concept. We stayed in the garden suite. The thought and efforts to create the room with its details was more than outstanding. The bike tour was brilliant. The breakfast outstanding. The personal touch of the team unmatched. Exploring the 'old town' can be done within walking distance. It's a no brainer to stay here again upon our next visit to Bangkok.

really awesome stay at the old capitol bike inn hotel. My wife and I were in Bangkok for the first time and the reception at this hotel was fantastic - all the staff were friendly and very helpful. they immediately made us feel at home. a real corner of tranquility and peace in which to take refuge after a long day in the fascinating but chaotic city of Bangkok. a real plus of this hotel is the possibility of taking the guided evening tour by bicycle. marvelous. the hotel guide explained and told us many interesting things in front of streets and monuments. Excellent breakfast and excellent cleaning. highly recommended.

Old Capital Bike Inn exceeded all my expectations. The breakfast was phenomenal, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the location was perfect. The Old Capital Bike Inn is perfect for anyone traveling to Bangkok, either alone or with others. Having individualized breakfast everyday really made traveling easy. I was able to walk to most of the places I wanted to visit in Bangkok and there was a metro station near by. Additionally, the staff was always so attentive and caring throughout my stay. I would highly recommend Old Capital Bike Inn and I will definitely be staying there again.

Honestly there is nothing I didn't like about Old Capital Bike Inn! I wish the floors were not as creaky but you can't change that because it is an older building with so much character and charm.

This was the first place we stayed upon arriving in Thailand and we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing glass of ice tea and snack bowl. We arrived on a very early morning flight, hours before check-in and had only planned to drop off our bags and return at check-in but the hotel happened to have the room ready and allowed us to check in almost immediately after arrival. We were so grateful for the opportunity to settle in and take a shower, as anyone would be after 26 hours in transit! Thank you Old Capital Bike Inn. We also happened to arrive on an evening where they were offering bike tours around Bangkok. We were a little worried at first, not being avid bikers back home plus having just spent a full day travelling, but Jason (the Inn owner) was a fantastic guide. The ease with which he navigated the roads and attentively guided us through the streets made it really easy to follow safely in his trail. We are so glad we did the bike tour because not only did we get to see areas we would not otherwise have but it also gave us the confidence to bike around while exploring later in Chiang Mai. The neighbourhood was perfect for exploring on foot on the rest of the days we were there. The hospitality was also second to none and we would not hesitate to book here on our future visits to Bangkok! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The hotel is located in a great location for exploring the main tourist attractions such as the Grand Palace which you can walk to (about 30 mins-40 mins walk). The staff sent us great comms before our stay to let us know the travel options. There are restaurants nearby as well, shops and pharmacies. The hotel itself is on a main road but the rooms are not noisy (although we had a room facing the back, not the front of the hotel building). The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very tasty, freshly cooked and the service during was breakfast felt like a 5 star hotel - the staff really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They offered to upgrade our double room (due to my boyfriend's birthday) to the room with split floors but we had to politely decline as we felt uncomfortable as the stair were really hard to go up and down and it was facing the busy road - if you can, I'd avoid booking that room but overall really great hotel that is well ran with attention to the detail.

Lighting in room is really poor and there was a strange smell in our room coming from outside - smelled like sewage so we had to keep our windows closed. Otherwise, all good!

An absolutely lovely experience staying at Old Capital Bike Inn. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, and their English is brilliant! A kind and warm welcome, including a welcome drink. Upon check-in, you have the option to select what you'd like for your breakfast, and what time you'd like it, along with the option to donate to 1 of 4 charities (and the hotel will match your donation). The breakfast was 10/10 and you certainly won't leave hungry. I recommend the chicken skewer and waffles! If you, like us, need to check-out early morning (we left at 0430), we were offered breakfast to take away! The bedroom is lovely, and exactly as described (I stayed in the garden suite) - clean, tidy, lovely decor, a choice of bath salts to select. Beds are made up each day and towels can be replaced if needed, however the hotel encourages them to be reused, which is great. Each day you arrive back to your room you are greeted with a little personalised message and souvenir. Despite the road/building works going on out front, this can't be heard from the room - earplugs are provided though, just in case! If I travel back to Bangkok, I'd certainly stay here again!
