Nice boutique hotel, plenty of hot water, huge bathroom, comfortable beds. There was plenty of AC that got quite cold, they provided robes and slippers. Three doors down is a laundry service but the hotel was able to drop it off for us and pick it up which was a nice perk. For less than five dollars we were able to get our clothing washed, folded, and returned to us. It was ฿100 per kilogram. Right next-door is an Expat bar and restaurant called Annie's. We were able to walk to most places but not to the night bazaar or the Saturday walking market. However, the songtaws were easy to use.

The water temperature was quite variable in the shower and would get cold and hot. Need hooks to hang clothing and towels!

Location, friendly staff, no street noise, cleanliness Pim, Earth, Yogurt, Monika, actually all staff went above and beyond. Was able to check in a boot early and that was a godsend after a long travel day. Booked a tour through the front desk and it was spectacular. Breakfast was awesome with cooked to order items and they even brewed me a decaf coffee. Very close to the street market and night food market. Cooking class a couple times a week was delicious. The only negative was the pillows. They were like sleeping on a rock. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel. Great food. Great people. Great location.

Beautiful boutique resort. Nice staff. Breakfast was standard Thailand fare so please ignore any complaints about breakfast in the reviews. Bathroom and beds were huge! Drop off your laundry on arrival and they will have it washed at the laundromat 2 doors down. Location was very quiet, water pressure was great.

Be aware that this is NOT a non-smoking resort. Our neighbors sat on their balcony and smoked and we could smell in in our room. Also - you need mosquito spray ANY time you are sitting outside at this resort (yes -even in the middle of the day). Shower temp would not stay constant and we nearly got burned a couple times

We stayed in a suite for 8 nights. Extremely spacious and comfortable once they’d put a pillow top on the rather firm mattress. There were a few problems with the jacuzzi tub which were handled promptly except for the jets shooting out black debris which was never resolved. Otherwise the service was excellent all round, especially in the restaurant for breakfast - big shoutout to Noppawee and Atthanee. The location is central and quiet. Lovely gardens and pool. A place we’d return to. Thanks.

Bathroom floor didn’t appear to get washed. A bit sticky after a week.

Breakfast buffet was a nice touch... but what made it special was the staff. They ALL went above and beyond that which you would normally expect. But of special note was the woman named Monica? (Tang Mo) who was incredibly accomodating, delightful and fun! She had us all laughing and brought a special touch to the entire stay!

I DID NOT appreciate the fact that ANYTHING that included pork was FORBIDDEN! The Club Sandwich I ordered was completely unappetizing. Breakfast had no bacon to go with the eggs. I could continue, but I won't bother. THAT fact alone will keep me from making it a "go-to" place to stay. (Thai pork is FANTASTIC) That hotel rule was very annoying and disappointing.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. It is a gorgeous little haven in the heart of old Chiang Mai. My room was very comfortable, all possible amenities included. The little room snacks, personalised welcome message and drink were a lovely touch. The courtyard activities and little snacks the staff made were lovely! The staff were all so attentive and patient. Location is great. A really great hotel.

My only negative was the temperamental shower temperature. It would flip between too hot or too cold at times

It was perfect!

You would never suspect such a wonderful hotel right off a busy street of Chiang Mai. Everything is very calm and relaxing, even on a bustling Friday night there is this tranquil feel to this hotel. I was upgraded to a spectacular room overlooking the pool. Breakfast was alright with everything from fresh fruit to hot Thai dishes and some choices regarding egg dishes that are freshly prepared for you like omelettes, eggs Benedict and so on. The staff were exceptionally nice and accomodating and arranged an airport transfer for me. If staying in Chiang Mai, the Thai Akara would always be my choice and recommendation!

The room was clean, I liked the little person touch and snacks provided in the room. Bedding was clean and comfortable, toilet was spacious too, and loved the bathtub. Balcony was great to hang out wet clothes to dry. Ample power point in the room too. Location was decent too The staff were great upon check in and out, and the welcome drink was interesting.

The room can get a little crammed with 4 large luggage opened, and the walls can be a little thin for sensitive sleepers (one of my friends could hear people walking outside as she slept on the bed nearest to the door)

Oasis in Old City. Cozy boutique style for travelers like us prefer homey style. Especially for hot days over 35 degrees Celsius when you are back from bustling & all day walking, you step back & feel totally relaxed. Pool is small but just enough. We were there 3 afternoons & at times just us. Breakfast is good & they have daily special & a few items you can order. Staff is excellent! Attentive, caring & always greet you with smiles! We got room 304 which is quiet, spacious with high ceiling! Definitely recommend!
