Very good buffet with a variety of food!

The staff don’t give change back when you pay. But, ok, it is the mentality.

Besutiful classic hotel with paintings and old colonial architecture, very class despite the age of the hotel. You can walk around the hotel and admire art and architecture. Location, plenty shops around, in the city center, metro close by The staff was helpful and kept an eye on my car in front of the hotel Calm, big room, on the side so no noise of the city Bed comfy Breakfast was various for all tastes, sweet and salty, lots of fresh salads and veggies so good for me Good service

Just missing bottled water and coffee despite the kettle available but just a detail

The hotel staff was very helpful and not pushy. The breakfast had a relatively wide offer. The security guard at the door could get us a really good offer for a taxi (25% compared to without his help, there is very different meter rates for tourists apparently). The location is really central, close to many restaurants and the Medina.

The air-conditioning didn't seem to work and the spa was closed. The staff was not super well informed about local attractions. There was lot's of Moskitos in the room every evening when we returned.

The Majestic hotel is a charming old hotel in the center of Tunis, outside the Medina. Excellent location, convenient for walking everywhere, it has a restaurant inside otherwise within walking distance there are many others, as well as various shops and even real shopping centers. The hotel has a charm all its own, one of those hotels not too modernized, comfortable with very large rooms equipped with all comforts. Recommended!

The staff were great, the security men were very friendly. Wifi was great whereas in my past experiences in North Africa wifi hasn’t been good, so this was great. The room was comfortable and large. Extra toiletries were provided when we asked for them. The free breakfast was great, all the food was warm and seemed like it was freshly made that day. The location is great. There is a Carrefour shop 5 mins walk away, and plenty of cafes in the area too.

The only issue we had was that the hotel didn’t let us bring 1 or 2 of our Tunisian friends up to our room. I understand the reasoning for this and it is only a small flaw we found but it would have been nice to bring a friend to our room.

Breakfast consists of a large, Tunisian taste oriented spread. The piano bar and outside terrace offer ample spaces in a pleasant atmosphere. Food and drinks selection in the bar is more than adequate. Room was spacious, bed fine. Double glazing keeps any outside noises out. Bathroom and shower perfect. Internet stable and good across the hotel. The little fridge worked perfect. In close proximity to the major roads.

The room only has a few 220V free outlets and no tea/coffee making facilities. Reception of certain satelite channels suffered from short interruptions.

The hotel is at an excellent location. Relatively close to Medina (15 minutes on foot), close to their main avenue and harbor. Very good breakfrast at a fair price. Clean, friendly staff always eager to help. They speek english and will help you with anything you need.

They could have predicted a drain in the bathroom.. In case you spill water, you will be needing staff assistance to mop it up. This however is a small issue compared to the comfortable and clean rooms and beds.

We were given an "upgrade", or a semi suite, which was totally up to expectations and maybe more, not least because of how clean everything was. The style from the beginning of the 20th Century is art-nouveau and to some extent overlooks the Jardin Habib Thameur. It has a nice bar, which is called Piano, and when you walked in, the experience was like you might imagine in the 1960s, like you've seen in movies, and Frank Sinatra was playing over everything. From the bar you can see a large outdoor terrace with a view of Avenue De Paris, while the bar is on the second floor of the hotel. A real time machine. From the hotel there is a straight line down to Habib Bourguiba and then we continued along Ave de France which led to the old fortress gate, which is the entrance to the Medina and the large markets called Souks. The class in these "souks" is very high. So, we were very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Absolutely nice Hotel near the centre, lovely people, well equipped and stylish, well restored historical place with every comfort from very good bed to high-quality-breakfast, all facilities at the bathroom. Nice details as light curtains, woolen rugs, all nice materials. Fantastic service from rooms to luggage, from reception to breakfast.

The wine-selection was poor, why is smoking allowed everywhere...

I liked the deco of the property old with new togeather breakfast was fresh and varied the size of rooms were big the waterfall shower

The beds mattress reall hard pillows were flat caused me shoulder and neck pain which I haven’t recovered still mosquitoes in the room the view from the window payed to much money to stay here I would say three star hotel
