I recently stayed at this family-run hotel and had an excellent trip, thanks to the outstanding location and hospitality. The rooms are large and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is superb, making it the best place to tour Turkey. The family running the hotel is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of their guests, which added to the overall positive experience. Naif, in particular, was incredibly helpful in arranging tours and securing restaurant discounts. His assistance made our trip even more enjoyable.

The location of this hotel is beautiful in the heart of Istanbul- extremely safe amazing for families, I highly recommend this hotel for families. We were greeted when we arrived at night by the owners who were so kind and welcoming- it was the reassurance we needed after the long travel. The owners wife took personal care of us, greeted us daily and had our room extremely clean and tidy for us- every evening when we arrived the cleaning was very thorough especially the bathroom and floors always clean. The area itself has a wide variety of food available, a 10 minute walk from sultanahmet and a minute away from Sirkeci (eminonu area). The hotel has a big gift shop next door with a range of things available to purchase; jewellery, keyrings etc. I'd like to thank the staff here for showing so much sincere care and always being helpful, this really made our trip! -Imran family

There was no negatives about this hotel whatsoever. The cleaning was daily and perfect. The staff were lovely and always having friendly chats. The area is perfect.

Location is great with walking distance to Serkeci station (Tram and Metro). It is a small renovated building owned by a small family who was very helpful and welcoming. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Daily housekeeping was excellent. There is a lift. They arranged transportation to Airport on my request with fees and that was excellent and ontime.

Air conditioner was not working first night but they tried to fix it and we moved to another room next day.

Very friendly staff! The room was clean and cosy and the bathroom was well stocked with paper and toiletries. They cleaned the bathroom daily. On arrival we felt the ac wasn't working so the owners got it fixed on urgent basis. Breakfast was available at an extra charge but the location is so amazing that we always opted to explore and eat in the many restaurants nearby. The hotel has a cute little gift shop adjoining it.

If you are going to enjoy different places in Turkey near Istanbul or in Istanbul or the historical location, you must not look for fancy hotels. This otel is in great location. It is small but we were family of 5 we enjoyed our stay in this place. It is clean daily room service tiny beautiful trace were you can sit and enjoy the weather with your family. The staff is like family Mr Naif and his family were so nice and very helpful. If you you want luxuries hotel then stay in your country and look for most expensive hotel and go stay there for 2 days.

Any thing you don’t like you will ignore it because of the staff and the location

Incredibly friendly owner and staff who couldn't do more for us. Location was superb with lots of local restaurants, bars and the main market within easy walking distance along with the metro and train station. Good Internet speed and a quirky roof terrace added to the overall experience

The rooms were tired and could really do with being lighter. The bathrooms are small although functional with good shower pressure and great hot water. Take note that the location does mean that it can be quite noisy at night

Excellent location and amazing host (Naif). He did everything possible to make our stay memorable. Went above and beyond by offering us complementary breakfast and tips for exploring Istanbul. Lastly, we missed my jacket and Naif kindly posted it back, thanks so much. I will definitely stay here again.

The place is in the old city center and so expect it to be noisy, as you would expect at any old city center hotels.

The apartment was perfectly located in the centre of Istanbul, a 5mins walk from all the major attractions such as Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia etc. There are amazing restaurants a few doors down, a mini supermarket and lotsof cafes. It's also literally down the road from the Bosphorus. Couldn't have been better positioned. The owner Naif and his wife were amazingly hospitable, they treated us like family!

Room size was very good compared to other property. Nice, clean and comfortable room and bed. In the heart of the old city and just 100 mts away from tramway. The breakfast which we had at a nearby hotel was very good as well. Convenient supermarket next door. The host Naif was very helpful.

Food in the area is very expensive because of the location.

A central location.Close to all main attractions that could be reached by walk. The hotel passed recently repairments. Its well furnished and painted. Rooms are big. Beds are veey comfortable. The staff, Mr. Naif and Mrs Asia were very helpful, kind and welcoming. They really care personally about the hotel residents. I warmly recommend Arges hotel and will surely choose it for my next trip.
