Excellent place to stay to visit Istanbul. Central position, well connected, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Clean, lift available. Make sure you get the breakfast as it is served in a beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view.

The hotel is on a very quiet and safe road. There is a music bar just outside that plays relaxing, lounge music until 22:30 (I personally did not mind it at all). While the hotel is relatively easy to reach, this neighbourhood of Istanbul is on a quite steep hill with narrow roads and a lot of steps and staircases everywhere, which could be a bit challenging for persons with reduced mobility.

The hotel is tiny, family run, has an amazing breakfast on the rooftop (5th floor) with spectacular views. The breakfast is atypical, exotically Turkish, in lots of little bowls, so one tastes lots of things. There is authentic Turkish tea, coffee and eggs in various ways. The rooms are exactly as in the pictures. And the best part is the location!!! A few steps (or stairs) from the tourist center, with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, sights... Right in the neighbourhood are ancient Christian churches. On the other side of the Bosphorus (10 min. across the Bosphorus) are the most famous mosques.

My room didn't have a robe and slippers, but I didn't miss them. Someone may be bothered by the music under the windows (not loud music, but a nice original melody, probably something like a whistle) long into the night (until about 11:00), but someone may, on the contrary, like it very much - like me :-).

Location is great, close to Kardakoy Tram and Galata Port, Bridge, and Tower, everything is within walking distance, Expect A lot of uphill and downhill walk, cobbled roads - as it is surrounding the Galata tower area. They can improve on facilities, like towels without holes - we had to request for slippers, the coffee maker and kettle is not working , we did not complain to the reception anymore since we only stayed for 2 nights and were mostly outside - so only water is complimentary, bed is nice, interiors of the room are better than most - there's a nice wine resto in front of the hotel - Vigneron - perfect place to end the day. we did not avail the 10 euro breakfast as we opt to take it outside, check in and check out were easy - we left our bags at the reception after check out so we can explore the area a little more.

The room is big, air conditioning was working fine. Staff were friendly. Location is easy to find (on foot, not with car) Walking distance to a lot of attractions. They refilled tea bags, bottle water, which is nice.

It was difficult to reach by car. We booked taxi via booking.com, the drivers had hard time to find the hotel. Besides, we suspected something on the bed, both me and my partner woke up with a few itching red spots, but it could be something else. We shake the bedsheet a few times during our stay. -There was no coffee pod providing, we cannot use the capsule coffee machine in the room.

We loved our six-night stay, and had a very nicely sized, comfortable room with lots of storage space and a separate little sitting area with plush chairs. The location is excellent, as it’s just a 100m or so below the Galata Tower, and it’s about that from one of the main bridges; the Sofia Hagia and surrounding attractions are only a 12-15 minute drive away if the traffic is light. All of the three staff members we met were helpful, warm, and friendly, and they seemingly took turns serving the breakfast, which I enjoyed: coffee/tea, juice, a platter of cheeses, olives, some fruit, jam, butter, etc, a big basket of fresh French bread, and lastly, eggs served however you’d like. But the best part? Where it’s served, which is atop the fifth story rooftop, in a very large glassed-in room with movable panes, and it has an incredible 270 degree view of the water and surrounding areas. The only disappointment was that this beautiful space is so woefully underutilized, as it absolutely would be an amazing spot to enjoy any type of drink during both day and night, but alas, it sits vacant except for breakfast, although you could still go up enjoy the views, and sit at the tables. We’d love to return to this gem again, especially as it costs us less only $70 a night! 😊

Disappointing use of the amazing rooftop!

1.It had a perfect location in the heart of the city 2. accessible to bus and tram within minutes of walking. 3. The staff were super nice and helpful always smiling. 4. The air conditioning was a life saver as it could’ve reached hot temperatures during noon and sometimes the evening. 5. Everything was safe and in place. Absolutely no personal belongings were missed during our time outside the room. I find it good value for money.

1. As it wasnt shown in the pictures there were two big glass doors in the bathroom overlooking the street and they were semi covered with light shades not covering the full width. That was problematic as the toilet was right next to those doors/big windows. However to be fair when we looked at it from downstairs as we were on the first floor it didnt really show through but it was still uncomfortable. 2. Wifi in the room wasn’t really good. 3. Breakfast wasnt the best either and could have been better. If id go back in time i would’ve had breakfast in the city in different places which we actually did some times.

Excellent hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Location was very convenient, as it was a short walk to the Galata Tower as well as to the bridge to Fatih and two metro lines. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a great option for anyone planning to explore Galata or Karakoy or visit Istiklal/Taksim while still desiring easy access to the main tourist sites in Fatih. I would stay here again and would recommend the hotel to friends traveling to Istanbul.

Although the location was great, the hotel is located in the middle of a steep hill, so you will be traversing a steep road or many stairs as you leave/return. The hotel has an elevator, but it's location does make it less accessible for anyone who is not very mobile. Additionally, the wifi was mostly reliable, but occasionally a bit slow.

I really liked the hotel, its a small building in a great neighborhood, near a lot of nice restaurants and bars. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is Turkish and its amazing, very complete, and served in the upstairs terrace. The rooms are spacious and clean, they provide bottled water for you and make a huge effort to speak English and break the language barriers.

It's not a bad thing, but the location might not be suitable for the elderly, as it is not accesible by all cars. We travelled with a 65+ person that struggled a bit going up and down the stairs to access the hotel, but if you are below 65 or are used to working out, you will be just fine. In fact if you like walking, this location is centric to reach most interest points.

The property is well located, well maintained, clean and the staff is wonderful. Tolga was extremely helpful, the hospitality staff was great. Rooms were clean every day, same as towels, we were given water every day. The AC worked well and beds were comfortable.

The hill and steps but that can’t be changed, this is Istanbul where hills and steps are everywhere. The location is wonderful, close to Galata Tower, and we loved it.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was prepared per person and made fresh as you entered the roof terrace. The hotel is right in the heart of the Galata area with lots of restaurants and bars.

The only downside is that the hotel is on a very narrow alley and directly across there is a wine bar with a saxophonist playing outside every night until 10.30pm. No good if you have children or need an early night as it is very loud.
