Very nice hotel for the price offered. It is very much on the economy side, although got everything I needed to sleep (maybe except fridge and normal desk). Working aircon, in drier evenings I didn’t even use it as the temperature was just enough. Beautiful sights from upper floors

- constantly clicking light (sensor) on the 6th floor corridor - INTERNET was often breaking, however I stayed too short to complain and make them do something about it - there is a small cleavage under the door and tiles on the corridor - the steps, sounds are quite loud when somebody is walking - generally walls are thin, but I heard people talking maybe twice during the day - no fridge in the room

I got the room upgraded from single room shared bathroom to single room private bathroom by the hotel and loved it. The bed is comfy and there is a little fridge thrown in so some food could be kept. It has basic facilities but since it is used for sleeping it serves its purpose. The location is good, tried only buses since there is a bus stop across the street. It is surrounded by restaurants at cheaper prices since it is slightly behind touristy Taksim area. The receptionist and staff are good, polite and helpful. Really as advertised.

Ali and Ozkan make you feel at home and are very helpful with any queries or solutions you may seek. Breakfast can be had at the café below the hotel, a haircut from the barber round the corner, clothes cleaning from nearby Hark Camarcirhane, super market is a stone throw away and if you're feeling hungry at anytime Deniz Lokantasi is across the road. I would also recommend visiting the park near the Kasim Pasa pier to play and love the City Cats and Kittens that live there. Will be coming back soon

Not enough time to stay any longer and explore more of the city, there's always next time.

I liked everything! For the money, it's a very good option. The staff is very nice, polite, they even checked me in earlier without any extra charge. The location is great, not far from the center, a store near the hotel, many local cafes where you can eat inexpensively. The room was clean, the air conditioner saved from the heat.

I didn't find any downsides

This hotel is by far the best value in Istanbul. I stay here every time I am in Turkey. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is great, restaurants, and tea. Shops are everywhere, but best of all by far is the staff, especially Ozkan. He is knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Each time I stay at this hotel, he makes my time that much more rewarding.

Great location! Opposite to metro station and a supermarket beside it. For dinner, there are countless options on the road. As for the room, the booking.com photos are accurate, and it was way better than I had expected. Extremely clean and well maintained. Nice window view. If you are a solo traveller and want the best cheapest option near Taksim and Istiklal, look no further.

Had a little toilet leak which couldn’t be fixed.

Great location, not far from Galata tower. The hotel is located downhill having a relatively steep slope. This wasn't a problem for me, but may be a problem for those who don't like to walk much. There is a supermarket next door and a Turkish bakery in the same building. So you can always find what to eat and drink some tea. I arrived early in the morning, my room wasn't ready yet (because the check-in time is 2PM) and I was allowed to drop the luggage and go for a walk. And within an hour I got a call that my room was ready, and I could go back to check-in. Thank you!

One of my favourite hotels in 31 years of travel. The location is amazing. Everything you need is just steps away. The room is a nice size, great mattress, windows that open, and a very clean and new bathroom. The price is very low for Istanbul, given the quality. Most importantly, my friends at the front desk are extremely kind, helpful, funny and always willing to help with advice. I feel like I am home when I am here...and they know where to get the best borek and ezogolin corba! Thanks so much for your kindness. Tesekkur ederim.

It was clean and comfortable. Staff were nice and try to accommodate. The area is not a luxury area but is not a criminal or dangerous one neither. It is 15 min walk to Galata , 20 min Walk to Takseem Square and Emononoi. You can find all sort of food around the hotel which is cheaper than city center since there are not many tourists staying in that area . Metro , Bus and Taxi stations are closed by .

When i booked the hotel room i was supposed to get a single bed but they gave me a double bed which is nice, however there was no fridge in my room which should be included in my room .

I liked this place so much, ideal for a stay in Istanbul. The staff was really nice and they were always available 24/7. The room was super clean and everything was there what is needed in a hotel stay. I definitely recommend this place to stay in Istanbul!

Though the location is really in the heart, walking distance from Taksim and even the city center (as a longer walk), it is in a really authentic district of Istanbul without the crowd of tourists, what can be a bit of a cultural surprise for a not-so-prepared traveller.
