This is a great place. Their best suite has a spectacular view - just like the Photos. The manger Sam is attentive, charming and really wants to look after the guests. The suite was lovely, clean, larget double bed and the sofa bed in the the living room is actually very comfortable as it open up into 2 single beds. We didnt use the fully equipped kitchen, and Sam is there for you any time you need him. Wi-fi is free and strong, lots of tech in the rooms. There is no restaurant or breakfast room, but you get a generous room service breakfast at the time you prefer. Sam really wants to impress his guests, and he delivers. The location is perfect, in Beyoglu, which is ideal if you want to walk to the main sites of Galata and cross the bridge to the Sultanahmet and the Bazaar.

The location was nice and quiet and close to the main areas with restaurants and cafes. The room had nice décor and was very clean and comfortable. A fully equipped bathroom and kitchen which was nice and also a small balcony to sit on and eat breakfast. The host was also friendly and offered any assistance when we needed it.

When we arrived we were told we couldn't pay by card and then told we were upgraded which I'm sure was the room I already booked for. Eventually we came to agree that we could pay by card. The rooms were not very soundproofed so the floorboards creaked a lot when people walked upstairs. The breakfast was very basic and not satisfying.

Sam (the owner/ manager of the hotel) is the best! He works so hard and cares so much about you having the best experience possible. The hotel is a beautiful restored 130 year old building that he has poured his heart and soul into and is right next to the hustle and bustle of Galata without having to sleep through the commotion and street life. Everything was easy to get to from the hotel which felt like our own little flat on the edge of Taksim in a small, safe neighborhood full of locals, which we loved! Breakfast was a great way to kick start the day out on the patio with some tea and music. If you like futbol, the hotel is literally across the street from one of the stadiums. We highly recommend staying at Opera Suites Okanli Pera!

The outlets near our bed in the room did not work. No salt and pepper in the room for breakfast. Room only has power when you're there so it is not possible to charge anything while you're out and about.

Location is amazing, just 5 mins walk to galata tower area but in a very quiet street, the bed was big and comfortable, decor very classic, breakfast was ok and when we asked to change few things they accommodated our request, the balcony is small but has a lovely view of the quiet street below, overall good vibe and good place in a great location

They clean the room every 3 days, however when we asked they send a lady to clean and make up the room, there is no shower gel they provide only shampoo, little greedy on toilet paper, one day they forgot to leave it after the room was cleaned and when I called they told me they left it in the morning so there was no need to debate with me, however they sent a roll to the room. On check out there was a misunderstanding with the taxi company and the taxi that arrived refused to bring us to airport as he said his booking was for a different airport, however the manager of the hotel immediately replied and managed to get us another taxi in 15 mins at 7.30 am and offered us 2 nights free and taxi pick up when we ll be back In Istanbul

The property is located close to Galatea tower. The owner is very kind and nice and very accommodating. the breakfast is nice (as what hotel breakfast you think). we stayed in the family suite which had a master bedroom with 3 windows and had a good air draft. There is a market close by for water, fruits, etc. There is a soup kitchen close by too that is open 24 hours.

WiFi is on and off sometimes. To help with this we bought (Turk-cell) 20GB for $25USD and it worked well.

loved the location as is a 7mins walk to istiklal Street. very convenient. the rooms photos are a combination of all the rooms. mine was a 3 bed at the photo below. so did not have all the sofas and stuff. but it was an adequate comfy apartment. As the reviews said, Samet, hotel manager was very friendly and very helpful. he waited for us at check in till 3am in the morning, when his next shift was at 6am. (our plane was delayed.... and he did not go back home after checking us in, to make it for his shift) very grateful for this. love this place a lot. near many grocery shops

if there are people upstairs, it will be a bit of shifting sounds. but each to be mindful and considerate of each other and it is fine.

Location (close to Istiklal street, yet nice and quiet residential area), beautiful, nicely renowated building, very nice apartment with amazing view to the Golden Horn. One can feel there like home.

Breakfast in general and no coffee to breakfast (but when I asked, I got Turkish coffee), no mug to make coffee (apart from mugs there were other disches in the kitchen), sounds from the room of the adjacent apartment.
