We loved staying there my wife and I. Place is clean, people are extremely nice and attentive, and the location is very nice. The one issue we had is the noise coming from the shisha bar next to us. They had loud music all night… so that was annoying. Some rooms are smaller than other. So if you’re staying for a while, book the bigger room:) Breakfast was decent, could be better. But the options were alright Shout out to my man Ali, he was a great host and worker there.

I've been in Istanbul for several times, the staff in this hotel are the nicest I've met. Always smiling (rare scene in Istanbul) and very helpful. I've spent 9 nights in total in Edibe Sultan with 0 complain. The cleaning is so good and the location is perfect. I highly recommend.

Maybe a little bit more attention to maintenance in the room (broken items mostly decorations) but there is nothing that will ruin your stay. The thing that I didn't like is the breakfast, maybe if the invest more into more occidental choices and better coffee machine. Also in the TV, only Turkish channels are working which is a bad thing. Other channels are existing but not working.

Loved the decor of the room and foyer of Hotel, very Turkish. The breakfast was a huge spread but mainly the same every day. The staff were super friendly and helpful in anything you need. They are also happy to store your luggage if needed. The location was close to everything , very handy. We stayed for one week, and most of the people we met were regulars that return to the hotel every trip!

Food smell coming into the room every morning as they prepared breakfast and occasionally a smell frim the drains in our bathroom. Overall, not too bad

The staff were friendly and attentive from kitchen staff to cleaning staff who say good morning when they see you. We especially liked Seyfettin who was always smiling and energetic! The breakfast was a nice variety of items with different salads some days or different breads. Rooms were cleans and had good wardrobe space. The hotel has nice decor and the lobby area is lovely. Location is very good and is a 5 minute walk to Sultanahmet Square and right next to the tram. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The bathroom could have done with a bit of regrouting just to freshen it up but it was clean so it wasn't a big issue.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They were very welcoming when we first arrived. The room sizes were decent and spacious and very suitable for families. The cleanliness was fantastic, the housekeeping staff were very nice and completed the cleaning of the rooms very thoroughly on a daily basis and the rooms were very clean when we first arrived. The breakfast was very nice and there was a variety of options and a range of hot drinks and fresh fruit every day. Overall this is a very good hotel with friendly staff and great customer service. Another positive is the hotel location. It is very near to Sultan Ahmet Square and other main sites of Istanbul, which was ideal for our family as it reduced the need to use transportation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! Just a 3-minute walk from Sultan Ahmet Station, it’s perfectly situated for exploring historical sites and nearby food courts. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, offering a great variety to start the day. The rooms were clean and tidy, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. What truly stood out was the friendly and supportive staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay in the heart of the city, this hotel is the perfect choice!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Usually the same things are served, with a few changes here and there, but there's a lot to choose from. Rooms were spacious. Location was good as the two mosques, topkapi palace and the bazaars are within walking distance. The tram station was also very close by.

All the shelves in the toilet are half broken so if you put too many things, they just fall off... I feel like this is such an easy thing to fix. There was also a weird smell from inside the wardrobe. While the location is good, know that you're in the main attraction area and so there are many tourist traps. Nearly all restaurants right next to this hotel are atrocious, they charge exorbitant prices and give you very little and disgusting food. This is not the hotel's fault, but it's something to keep in mind when booking here. Do your research about where to eat and expect to pay a lot.

Our stay at the Edibe Sultan was great. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts as well. Lots of options to choose from. There were enough options for everybody: cereal, joghurt, middle eastern, eggs, fruit, bread/toast, cakes/cookies. The shower was amazing: hot and powerful! The location was excellent. Everything was within walking distance (Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome, restaurants, small shops, tram, bus, etc). Our room was exceptionally quiet with very comfortable beds.

The only complaint I had, and perhaps I should have brought it up with the staff, was that the water smelled of "rotten eggs" (sulphur) at certain times which made showering and brushing your teeth offputting. However, it did not last all day. After letting it run, it improved.

The location is perfect, within walking distance to the Bosporus and surrounded by numerous restaurants. It's also very close to the Blue Mosque, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating—we were even upgraded and allowed early check-in, which made our stay even more enjoyable

While the location of Edibe Sultan Hotel is excellent and the staff is friendly, the hotel itself feels outdated. The facilities are not modern, and the furniture in the room looked quite old. Additionally, the shower head was broken, which was inconvenient. Overall, while the location is great, the hotel could benefit from some updates and improvements to the facilities

The staff are amazing and welcoming. I requested a room with a balcony and they gave me one. Great value for money. Amazing location, right in the center of downtown. Well connected with public transport. The breakfast was pretty good. Comfy beds. Clean rooms. Quiet location.

This has nothing to do with the hotel, but there was construction going on right next to the hotel. We couldn't hear anything inside the rooms though. Satellite TV is limited in the number of unlocked channels so we listened to the radio mostly. For example, popular international channels are locked. The kitchen could offer more breakfast options but overall not too bad.
