Emir hotel was absolutely magical for my wife and I's honeymoon! The room was simplistic and beautiful, and it was even better than the pictures. Our host was so kind, and the guides he provided us with made our vacation even more memorable. Everywhere we visited, that the host recommended to us, was absolutely amazing. I highly highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Honestly nothing. I don't think anyone is booking this hotel for a super luxurious stay because it doesn't have a huge building with amenities like pools and restaurants. The hotel is exactly what it looks like- a quaint hotel with great rooms and service in an absolutely amazing location. If you stay here you won't be disappointed.

Guys from reception were great, also they helped us with luggage and taxi from hotel to airport. Room was nice, bed was comfortable and whole stay there was great as well. Best thing about this accommodation is location: close to many historical localities in Sultanahmet, public transportation, Grand and Egyptian bazar and Eminonu port. This accommodation is great value of money, you can not expect something luxurious for cheap price as this one is. Beside some small shortcomings, I would defined again stay there!

I think that sheet and pillow sheet weren't clean, but I always carrying mine, so it doesn't matter. Stairs in hotel are small, but I noticed that many places has similar too.

Very well located hotel with a multitude of good restaurants within walking distance 👌🏻 Bilal at the front is super helpful and one of the owner Salim very plaisant to chat with around a good cup of Turkish tea 🍵 The rooms are cozy with everything you need if you want to cook. Cleanliness was on par and even better than other Hotel I've stayed at in Istanbul 😏 I will defenetly be back next time I am in Istanbul 😌

Location was perfect, close to tourist attractions, the Metro and lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. Friendly and helpful staff, on hand 24/7 with any information needed. Very good value for money

Very little to dislike about the Emir. Perhaps some heavier curtains on the window to keep the light out at night. Anyone with mobility issues should request a ground floor room as the stairs are narrow.

I would like to thank all the staff who were so kind and helpful with us. About the hotel, I can say that it was very clean and very comfortable, and thanks to Mrs. Nargis who comes every day to clean. The thing I would like to point out is that this hotel deserves 5 stars, 4 stars for the staff and the fifth star for its geographical location. Great location- close to all attractions,sea and restaurants. Amazing and helpful hosts that will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as much as possible. Nice cleaning lady who cleaned the room every day. Everything was perfect. If I am to go back to Istambul I will definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting.

Superb location, friendly staff ready to help, comfortable and clean apartment with fridge, tresor and good view of the city. It is located at pretty calm street as well so noise isnt as disturbing as it could be. I liked the option of transport from airport to hotel, organised by this hotel if you need it, and its cheaper than normal taxi.

Weak wifi and bathroom door couldn't lock properly, but anyway, it was very nice hotel.

The hotel is very well located, near all the main attractions of Istanbul, there is a convenience store and many cafes and restaurants at different prices - from the most economical (Turk Baba) to premium (Olivgringarden). The lane itself is very quiet, although in the very center of Sultanahmet, it is great to sleep at night! While we lived there, there was never any noise from other residents, although the hotel is always full. The staff is very friendly, speaks Turkish, English, Russian and even Armenian) Thank you very much to the woman who cleaned our room every day, the cleaning is always very high quality, fresh linen and towels. Separately, many thanks to the night employee (I don't know the name) for help with everything! I recommend this hotel to everyone, prosperity and good guests!

Everything was great. The hotel staff is great, especially the guy at the reception. He helped us with everything we needed. The location of the hotel is good. We come to istanbul often and we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

The room needed some minor repairs and some extras won't hurt (like, it has a boiler but no cups..). It's 3 floors and has no elevator, so if you have limited mobility, keep this in mind.
