It is truly the best boutique hotel I have ever visited. We spent there 4nights, and I literally cannot say anything bad about this hotel. I had the most standard room option so room had no view to the sea but everything else was fabulous. Big thick curtains which stopped 99% of daylight, amazing rain shower with proper water pressure, large shower area, nice cosmetics, fresh nice smell in the room and whole hotel, very comfortable big bed, quiet room, and 2 most important aspects: incredible breakfast, it is quite likely that you will not find better breakfast in any other hotel in Istanbul, and amazing people working in hotel. You absolutely rock - very helpful, very kind, very positive, no problems in communicating in English, giving advices far beyond regular call of duty - such as organizing jar of jam as a gift as soon as we asked what it is (yummy carrot jam) or giving us exact directions and contacts where to buy beautiful porcelain used to serve breakfasts in the hotel). Free bottles of water in the fridge everyday was also very nice. Regarding the location - it is around 10minutes on foot to Sultanahmet T1 tram station - the most central tramline in the city - so you can easily get anywhere from here. By the way - public transport here is amazing, forget about car, enjoy travelling by metro, trams, buses, funicular and… multiple amazing passenger ferries cruises through Bosphorus - cost per ticket is around 0,50 Euro! I absolutely recommend the city itself and Poem Hotel in particular to everyone. just book it for many days as we stayed here 5days, and it was still not enough to visit everything despite 60km on foot and more than 30tickets used.

Everything was perfection. From the room to the service, location. We really loved breakfast. Many thanks to breakfast staff (Eren is extremely kind and friendly) also the front desk staff, cleaning ladies, the manager thank you all for everything. The hotel is located only few minutes walking from Sultanahmed and aya Sofia Mosque and is really clean. I will definetly stay at hotel poem for my futurs stays in Istanbul. ❤️

Perfect, I usually do not write review but this hotel is amazing, the staffs are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast started at 8pm, but we had to go airport earlier. They still tried their best to prepare the breakfast for us. Excellent service, clean room, everyday our room was made very tidy. The bed is comfortable and spotless. Recommended!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming when my husband and I arrived. The staff were also approachable and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel was spotless and also very quirky. This hotel has a lovely homely feeling and tells a story throughout re photos and poems on the walls. it is also in a central location, walking distance to the blue mosque, restaurants and souvenir shops.

Re breakfast; it would have made a difference to us if there was a wee small menu or a choice of breakfast. A Beautiful tradition Turkish breakfast was put down to us, unfortunately it was not to our tastes. We appreciated the effort and the presentation of food put down to us from the lovely cook. My husband and I ate some bread and a little spoonful of salad. This is not a complaint, just a we observation for future tourists, as really, we had no breakfast that morning. This has not put us off returning to this hotel, next time we will request a more traditional breakfast for us. There was a lovely sign/poem on the wall in the breakfast room, It made us smile. I took a photo of it for my own kitchen, it will also be a lovely reminder of our stay in Hotel Poem.

Premium Standard room is cozy and with a wonderful bed. There's room enough for couples. Decoration is great and as shown in the professional pictures at the website. There's a minibar with free water everyday, a nice iron and a board, a very convenient safety box. The shower is modern in style and works perfectly. The whole bathroom is impeccable even with a towel warmer. All in all, it was great to rest in such a room at the end of the day. Staff was amazing, helpful, professional and smiling. They solved problems, made good recommendations and proved that they really cared about us. They didn't bother you with excessive tour commercials and were very respectful in that sense. Last but not least, Breakfast! We had read the nice reviews but you always have your doubts. Well, it is true, breakfast is delicious, abundant, appealing to the eye with all the assorted small dishes. There's a little bit of everything on the table and you notice it is made with passion, with Turkish passion. What a perfect way to start a day in Sultanahmet!

Hard to say. When all works out smoothly there's no point in trying to find errors.

Everything was really great, staff is very helpful to the extent that I felt I'm staying in with the nice part of my family in a cozy vacation! Breakfast is amazing! We took the penthouse and it had great views, the jacuzzi worked really well too. We even ordered a takeaway and we had to use their personal phone for the delivery app, they were very supportive! Simply ask them for anything and they'll support, food, activities, where to go and they'll help as much as they can.

Nothing that they didn't fix!

We spent 9 amazing days in this hotel and we can note that: 1) hospitable staff is ready to respond to any request of guests and provides the highest level of service 2) the breakfasts were excellent and delicious, it was a delight! 3) the location is in the heart of the Fatih district, everything is within walking distance 4) there are local restaurants and cafes near the hotel Welcoming and intimate, the hotel is comparable to a small museum. The impressions from the hotel were the best!

Hotel Poem is in an excellent location, close to the attractions of the old town and tucked away from a great vibrant area. The hotel ticks all the boxes that you would expect, great customer service and personal care in arranging transfers, turkish baths and the breakfasts are obviously amazing!! The hotel is sparkling clean and comfortable. I am a travel snob and this hotel i would recommend to anyone in a heart beat. Do it!!

We loved everything about this place. I had a hard time picking which place to stay in Cappadocia and read so many reviews on different hotel. 100% happy with my decision to stay here. Rooms were beautiful, breakfast was outstanding, the pool area was nice (it is a little cold, but that is OK] views from the breakfast room and rooftop are amazing!. Staff very helpful, and want to ensure you have a good stay. 

Such an incredible hotel. Firstly the breakfast, which was huge and varied and perfect for vegetarians and vegans. We stayed in Exupery at the top of the hotel with a fantastic view over the Asian side of Istanbul and the Bosphorus - we spent many evenings sipping wine and watching the sunset and the sunrise in the mornings! It was also very quiet - facing away from the main clubs. We were also not woken by the call the prayer. The room was exceptionally clean - the cleaning staff are a real credit to the hotel! The location is amazingly located for visiting the Hagia Sofia and surrounding attractions - all within a 5-8 minute walk on mainly pedestrianised streets. The area surrounding the hotel is safe and full of restaurants and quality souvenirs shops. Hotel transfers were handled with ease - however you need to pay in cash and they only accept euros/dollars/lira.
