The room was very clean and the location was great! The staff was very attentive and solved all the issues very fast. Would definitely return.

The breakfast could be improved regarding the organization and cleaning of the tables. The food was ok and staff was kind. Lack of tables and forks for all customers. The walls of the breakfast area should be washed and repaired.

The hotel has the best location. All sights are nearby. Breakfast is the best. Staff: Evelina, Can, Erkan, they are very good, attentive, they will help us in everything.

Great location: Galata neighbourhood, so you can get to Istiklal or Galata bridge/Karakoy/Eminomu on foot. There is also metro station Şişhane which is on the green line and allows you to get to other lines rather quickly. Great rooms: We've got an upgrade from two connected rooms to a flat with two rooms and a kitchen which was very nice. It was a bit shabby, but rather clean. We had linen changed every 2 days. We even had a balcony with the Galata tower view. Great service: Staff is very hospitable and responsive. All our questions were answered and issues solved. Great breakfast: It's not so easy to find hotels with hot buffet breakfasts, but here in addition to meze we also had omelette, fried eggs, sausages, and fries.

There was not so much space in the cafeteria, so sometimes you'd need to wait until you find a free table. We also had a very hard-to-open door in the bathroom, so we got a bit stronger after this stay :)

Very hospitable and friendly :) We had some special request while booking and the hotel staff came towards us and agreed, which we much appreciated. We arrived late night, however, the staff awaited us and helped to check in and allocate in the room. We faced some problem with door that night but the staff helped to solve that problem ummediately. The breakfast had good variety of food and also water dispencer, that was nice. Generally the room was clean, nice, cleaning was every day and also new bottles of water appeared every day. We were also pleased by a desert compliment from the Hotel :) Very close to Istaklal street, Galata tower and tramway to Karakoy. While leaving the staff helped us to call a taxi which arrived immediately. Next time will stay in Meroddi Hotel again for sure!

The view out the window was not so spectacular but it did not influence our general impression.

The hotel has a wonderful view of the Bosphorus from the terrace. They even play nice music. Breakfast is buffet style. You can choose from scrambled eggs, various cheeses, fruit, cereals, spreads. We chose a smaller room, but it was perfectly adequate for two tourists with cabin luggage. The mattresses are comfortable. The style of the hotel is lovely, they even sent me a pdf with a brief history of the district. It is located right next to the Galata Tower. You can easily visit the main attractions on foot across the bridge. The hotel is full of small, beautiful shops with souvenirs, clothes and cute cafes. The staff is very friendly, ready to arrange a taxi and tours for you at a fair price. They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Please give your staff awards!:)

We had no problems, and liked everything. Keep in mind, they have wireless internet, the connection is good, but it is still a bit slow and does not open all websites, so it makes sense to consider a Turkish sim card. There are no problems with social networks.

1. Perfect location - near Galata tower, with a lot of shops and bars around. Main attraction are on walking distance but there is also perfect public transportation connection - with tram, metro line, or boat to Asian part. 2. Staff - all persons there were fantastic! All the time very polite, they print us flight ticket, did not want to charge some small issue from room bar (they treated it like present for my son) 3. Breakfast - very fine, it is pritty same every day, but still there are a lot of options for nice day start. It was missing just Turkish coffee 4. Cleans - room were cleaning each day and top of everything there were free bottle of water and coffee in the room each day

1. Room - it is a bit smaller and our was actually part of bigger apartment (which means that there was just closed door between our and next room). Also our room was looking in wall which was on 2 m which means that there was no lights in the room 2. Roof restaurant - I understand that roof restaurant was on the top of the hotel, but actually it was in another building so we never saw it. Looks like that they have few hotels- buildings around and restaurant is on one of them. If you are booking this room because of view from restaurant and breakfast from there just check where will be your accommodation exactly.

We had a lovely stay at Meroddi Hotel. Our room was cosy and very clean, and even though it was on the ground floor it was very quiet. The staff were great, very polite and super helpful. The breakfast was delicious and varied everyday. The hotel is located within easy access to all public transport; 2 min walk to one of the main Metro lines and tunnels, and less than a 10 min walk to a tram station from where you are just a few stops away from the main attractions. I had mentioned in the comment section whilst booking that we are going to Istanbul for my Mum's birthday. The hotel got in touch with me a couple of days before our trip to ask if they can help with any arrangements for the day. On my Mum's birthday they set up a beautiful decorated table with balloons on the roof terrace of their sister hotel with an amazing view of the Galata Tower and the river. Very grateful to the staff for making it a birthday to remember! Thank you so much, Sahar

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived very late at night but this was no problem and they directed us to somewhere to eat and get a drink despite the late hour. On our departure they arranged a taxi. The room was perfect for our needs and the rooftop terrace view was a bonus. The location was fantastic, we were able to walk to most places we wanted and felt very safe in the area.

The wifi was good but did require regular reconnecting but this was a very minor inconvenience. The breakfast was very traditional and not to the liking of some of our party although the coffee was great!

The excellent hospitality starts the moment you get you bags out of the taxi, the staff will rush to help you, location is 100 over 10 near galata tower, shishane metro station and 2 minutes to the start of independance street, breakfast is outstanding, too many shops, caffee and restaurants are near the hotel. I would like to thank and raise my hat to all the staff especially erkan, çan and mosaab and the gentleman I checked out on his shift (sorry I forgot your name) for their help and hospitality Very amazing stay

I suggest that the alcoholic beverage should not be put on the mini bar until you are sure the guest will use because many Muslims don't like to open their fridge and find alcoholic beverage
