The staff especially the room service and the staff at breakfast.

Amenities were only provided on first day. That was a surprise for a five stars hotel, thus we had to go out to purchase these items.

Room is good size and very good bathroom. Location is perfect, you can do a lot of things walking. Gym is quite good and SPA as well, with sauna and massage available. Breakfast was awesome and service in general top quality.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Divan İstanbul Hotel, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The front desk and concierge team, especially Efe Bey, were incredibly helpful, kind, and professional, making my stay even more delightful. My room boasted a stunning sea view, adding to the overall ambiance. The hotel has been fully renovated, combining modern luxury with classic charm. Its prime location in İstanbul made it convenient for exploring the city's attractions. The hotel also features top-rated restaurants and a bar, offering guests a superb culinary experience. The diverse menu and exquisite flavors made dining a highlight of my stay. The spa and treatments were exceptional, offering a perfect escape for relaxation. A special touch that truly uplifted my spirits was the beautiful roses left in my room by the hotel staff every day. One tip: Don't forget to try their patisserie and taste Divan's famous Turkish delights. They are a must-try and add to the overall delightful experience. Overall, Divan İstanbul Hotel exemplifies top-notch hospitality and comfort. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable stay in İstanbul.

Everything was perfect.

Divan had everything I expected from this Istanbul institution. Comfort, luxury, great F&B. Above all, the staff were exceptional. All the reception staff including Coskun, Abdulmecit, Merve, Eyupcan (some of the names I can remember) were friendly, respectful and attentive. I must mention the concierge Berk specifically who was among the very best I've encountered during my many stays in hotels globally. Another mention goes to room service staff Mikail. Who demonstrated regardless of what role you play in the running of a luxury hotel your positive attitude makes the guests feel even more welcome. Finally I have no doubt that the new GM Ms Yulia Kardeşoğlu, who I met a couple of times during my stay, will take the Divan to new heights.

Nothing worth mentioning.

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights in August Exquisite modern turkish style design! Very relaxing and cozy atmosphere in any location of the hotel! Feel like at home! Great location 5 min walk from the Taksim square and Istiklal and 15 min to Dolmabahce palace! The deluxe room in the 9th floor had great side view on Bosphorus and it had good size for 2 adults and 1 kid (accommodated on additional bed) Excellent service: starting from bell boys and ending the General Manager! Especially grateful to the concierge service Shafa and Berk, also Bulat and Muge. Wonderful breakfasts and restaurants! As a nice bonus for us was a kids menu in main restaurant with European and Turkish cuisine! We had great time in the hotel’s spa, comfortable and not crowded. Keep in mind that the swimming caps are required for the pool, and they are available on the spa reception to buy!

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. I have to mention the following superstars: 1) from concierge: Shafa and Berk and absolutely incredible. Very considerate, patient and always willing to help. They helped us with our tours, internal requests, and went above and beyond helping us getting medicine for my dad who had a cold 2) from the all day dining restaurant: Burak has been so incredible during F&B service. He is so friendly, cares about the guest convenience and delivers regardless of the language barrier. He is a delight. Also, Berkay and Hulya were super nice and helpful. 3) from the japanese restaurant i am happy to highlight Kadir for his seamless and lovely service as well 4) from the front desk: I highlight Furkan during check in, he was so friendly and addressed me by name all the time which made me feel recognized. During checkout, Efe took care of us and really helped us have a smooth, efficient departure.

A few suggestions to elevate the guest experience: - the cupboards in the room were placed too close to the the bed. If the second guest is sleeping it’s hard to move around it. - the machine that produces the scent is placed too close to the elevator and when it sprays it’s overpowering. I recommend changing the location or using a different machine to make the scent more subtle.
