Everything is just perfect, location is rate it 10/10 everything is close to you, shops, cafe, bazar, metro station, barber, saloon , grocery all can be reached by walking maximum 5 min and maybe 10 min walking and you will be in the grand bazar, the breakfast is so amazing and authentic turkish, the staff very helpful and they do extra mile to help you , special thanks to all of them but more exceptional thanks for Mr. Najeeb in the reception he explained for us where we can find metro station 5 min away from the hotel and he helped me a lot during my stay there i am really thankful and grateful for his assistance including the other guys as well, i highly recommend the hotel you will really enjoy your stay in istanbul with them and you will explore more hidden gems in istanbul ❤️ surely my next visit to istanbul i will stay with them , highly recommended i give them 10/10. Hotel was clean all the time and the room service were very helpful and smiling all the time, and even the staff responsible on the buffet they were smiling and welcoming the guest. Excellent location and unbelievably attentive service. Veysel exceeded all expectations for good hospitality, and everyone was so friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Good breakfast.

Get comfortable shoes - the hotel is located on the street that goes up and down the hill; there are lots of shoe shops on this street and the deliveries at night may prevent you from sleeping with the open window. Breakfast is the same every day, missed orange juice for breakfast.

The staff are very welcoming and helpful, from reception right through to Vatma, the cleaning lady. Veysel and staff made us feel right at home and was very hospitable and helpful in every way! The room was also as pictured and it was cosy and warm - perfect for me and hubby! The bed is comfortable and the shower has good water pressure which is what I needed after a long day of exploring! Close walk to the tramway and all the main attractions which was a bonus. Veysel also offered his tram card which helped us on our adventures each day. Veysel also got us a discount and a private table right next to the dancers on the Bosphorus Dinner Cruise which we thoroughly enjoyed. The included breakfast had a beautiful selection of food and the restaurant is intimate and cute! I cannot fault the hotel at all! We loved our 4-night stay! Also, the restaurant next door, The Glass, makes beautiful, delicious food! We will be back!

Nothing to fault about the hotel itself but drivers sometimes cannot get right to the hotel door so you might have to walk over a block and workers outside can sometimes be loud at night but none of that was a problem for us, it was all part of the experience :)

Room was small but very clean, very good pillows and sheets, bathroom small but functional, staff was friendly but not speaking fluent English made communication difficult. Breakfast was standard but very focused on local cuisine.

Even though the room was for non-smokers, the smell of cigarettes entered everywhere, especially when the cleaning staff smoked in the hallway, and this happened in the 3 days we stayed at the hotel. Another complicated point was the noise of showers and pipes from other rooms, telephones from other rooms very early (5:00 am) and noise from the cleaning staff early in the morning (before 8:00 am). Quite difficult to sleep once these noises started.

Rauf and team of administrators did a great job to make our stay comfortable and stress free. Hotel is located 5 minutes from Grand Bazar and Ayasofya and lots of historical landmarks are within 15-20 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants and cafes are also nearby. Hotel is located in shoe wholesale area and it is always full of men carrying cardboard boxes around. Also they start working pretty early, so make sure your windows are closed or it would be hard to sleep. I found that area of Old town very cool, you get to see some scenes and stuff you won’t see in Europe, but for some people it might be a little too much.

This hotel has 4 floors, but you won’t see it on the photos, because 4th floor is the attic and rooms are tiny with small windows and limited view, maybe it’s ok to spend a night or two, if you are there for a longer period and plan to spend some time in the hotel I would suggest to pick another floor. Due to amount of cardboard boxes on the streets this area is closed for general traffic for the most part of the day, so keep in mind that you won’t be able to call Uber right to the hotel door.

We are very happy with our stay. The location is great. And the staff.. unique! Extremely kind and responsive people. We went without a program, but they and especially Veysel explained to us about all the sights that are worth seeing. The breakfast at the hotel is very delicious and every day there is a variety of Turkish food. The hotel does not have its own parking, but they provided us with a parking space. The rooms were cozy and clean. On our next visit to Istanbul, we will stay at this hotel again!

Excellent hotel. The staff is very helpful, always smiling. Polite people who helped us carry our baggage (11 suitcases) from the hotel to the taxi. Good breakfast compared to my previous experiences in Istanbul ( this is my 3rd time). Clean room, and we were lucky to sleep very well, as the hotel is located near to a chose market and factories. The location is excellent, we went to Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Sulaymeniye, Egyptian market and Beyazit walking. Close to the T1 tram which is very strategic.

Almost nothing, except the orange juice that can be a bit better and sometimes I put the room on 'Do not disturb' status but the room service happened anyway, which wasn't a big deal for us.

Everything was just perfect about our stay. It was my husband’s birthday, while we were staying, the staff gave him a cake. We never mentioned anything they were just so thoughtful. They also provided fresh fruit on the last day for us to take to the airport. Was such a lovely touch. If you wish to go on any trips whilst you’re there, they will organise this for you. Amazing service throughout our stay, the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. The hotel is located on a lovely street with cafes, restaurants and a bar. Great if you have been out all day and want to stay local on the evening. We can’t fault the hotel, everything was amazing, breakfast was great and special shout out to Veysel who organised our trips, provided advise on how to get to places, organised our transport from the airport and the return. We can’t thank you enough for making our holiday exceptional. Can’t wait to return.🇹🇷❤️

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The rooms are quite small but standard for Istanbul and you have everything you need in them. Spotlessly clean!

His friendliness, attentiveness, and generous hospitality truly stood out. He greeted us with Turkish sweets and made both our arrival and departure unforgettable. The hotel surprised us with a thoughtful birthday celebration, complete with a delicious cake, which added a special touch to our stay. The room was impeccably clean every day and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The thoughtful gesture of delivering free fruits to our room was another delightful surprise. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant offered an exceptional dining experience, with every dish being absolutely delicious and crafted to perfection. The ambiance of Primero is warm, elegant, and exceptionally safe, making it the perfect choice for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning soon!

Location was prime! I walked or took the tram to every tourist attraction including the famous Grand Bazar! Breakfast was everything and more!! Staff was very warm, welcoming, and friendly! I loved my stay at Primero! Oh and they have cards for the tram that you just have to load! My turkish bath was booked and airport transfers to and from Istanbul, SAW and Cappadocia airport was arranged without me having to stress or lift a finger!! I highly recommend for travelers visiting Istanbul solo or couples! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I didn't get the room I originally paid for...but it didn't bother me at all because I was never there! Front desk was apologetic about the issue and did offer to accommodate me but I declined! I appreciated the efforts!
