Amazing Turkish style breakfast from the rooftop and a warm hospitality of the host. Perfect stay for a solo traveler in the heart of Istanbul. The location is perfect to explore the city by walking.

Staff are super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is filling and with a nice view from the terrace. Clean and comfortable and there is everything in the room you could possibly need! Great value.

It was a little noisy from the room as there was construction at the time. The location is good for a first time visit as it's very near to the tourist attractions but also makes it a bit of a tourist trap and expensive for restaurants etc nearby.

The room is so tiny for 6 people

The location was so nice. Right next to The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace Museum, but just outside the busy streets that flood with tourists. The hosts are also extremely accommodating and attentive. There is always someone at the front desk willing to help with anything. The terrace is really nice, too. Especially in the mornings! Beds are comfortable.

Rooms are quite small, but not a deal breaker. Also, the balconies are not balconies you can walk out into, but no big deal really. Bathroom showers can overflow easily and the curtains have mold on them. I would recommend a more thorough cleaning. All-in-all, it was a nice stay. I would stay again.

The hostel was a 10/10. This is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in - the bathrooms were immaculate which is going above and beyond for a hostel as that’s not even really to be expected! The room decor of my 6 person female-only dorm was so cute and the curtains around the beds made it so that we could all have privacy in our beds - this was a really nice touch. The hostel is in an amazing location for all the tourist activities such as the bazaars and famous mosques to visit which are all within walking distance. Such cute decor and colours throughout the building. But most importantly the staff were absolutely wonderful. Special shout out to Zeeshan who went above and beyond helping me organise an affordable transfer to and from the airport as a lot of taxi drivers were charging much more for being in a touristy area. He was so friendly and helpful along with each and every staff member I came across. The hostel also offered a breakfast each day that was included which was such a lovely touch, and was so delicious! Would absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Istanbul and I will absolutely book again if I am ever back.

I recently stayed at Stanpoli Hostel in Istanbul, and my experience was superb and amazing. As it was my first time staying in a hostel, I was a bit apprehensive, but the staff made my stay truly memorable. The receptionist, Zeeshan, was incredible; his patience and thoroughness in answering all my questions were mind-blowing. Additionally, the lady who served breakfast each morning was delightful. Although I forgot to ask her name, her superb service and warm smile 👍. I highly recommend Stanpoli Hostel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Clean and tidy, superb location and the staff were amazing throughout! Osman, the manager, has created such a great environment for people to stay. His mother, helping to cook, made beautiful food through our stay. Zeeshan on the desk was also incredibly helpful. Stanpoli is in a perfect location, only a couple of minutes walk to Haiga Sofia and Sultenahment Mosque. Thanks for an excellent stay, Osman, and all the rest of the team. When I am next in Istanbul, this is where I will stay.

Nothing, amazing stay!

Felt safe. Staffs are very helpful and kind. They arranged cab for my early morning flight and helped me with carrying my luggage. You will get a better view of blue mosque from the top floor. Breakfast is amazing and the cook is a really nice lady. Hostel is in the centre of Sultanahmet where we can access tram and bus very easily. Room and toilet was kept clean always. They provide locker facility. Overall i had a wonderful experience.

Room size is little small for 6 people.

The hostel was easy to find and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was safe and clean and the breakfast was great with a beautiful view.

The room was a little warm (in March it wasn’t hot in Istanbul) and in the bathroom there are two light switches the second of which turns on the extractor fan, most girls didn’t turn the second one on so it made it quite damp and humid. A sign might help to prompt people to turn the fan on.

The location is excellent, the main attractions are all within an easy walking distance and The Blue Mosque can be seen from the rooftop terrace. The night staff member on duty was extremely polite, helpful and informative and organised both of our airport transfers. Special thanks to him. Breakfast was plentiful and it was served on the rooftop terrace, which was lovely. The shower worked well and the bed was comfortable.

The room was small and there was little room to manage our suitcases, although room dimensions are provided when making a reservation, so this did not come as a surprise.
