Interesting first day but no need to get into the details. From then onwards the stay was super comfortable and worth the money. Super nice staff and owners and always willing to help and very attentive. Would definitely stay there again.

Not the hotel but the Revive restuarant which was also nice and with good food and staff, but no local food menu? Would be nice to include one or two local dishes on the menu but otherwise a super nice place as well :) The pictures of the standard/standard double should also be updated. I had to upgrade as soon as i got there. Worth upgrading if you can. Worth it.

The room comes equipped with a well constructed mosquito net (better than most that I’ve seen). The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The property is relatively near several major shopping malls which have supermarkets - in fact, one might say that the onsite organic store is like a small supermarket (albeit expensive). The staff were OK with letting me refill my water bottle from a water fountain in the restaurant (which was preferable to creating more plastic pollution in the form of the bottled water provided to the rooms).

There were a few things wrong with the room - the fan didn’t work and water seeped out from under the shower area enclosure. While the area is relatively quiet, traffic noise can still be heard distinctly - there is a major arterial road and traffic lights adjacent to the property. The noise is not particularly bad, but will likely pose a problem for light sleepers. A kettle and, perhaps, a small fridge would be welcome additions to the room.

The premium room is totally worth the money. You pay a bit more compared to the express room, but you get much more for it (ac, mosquito net, desk, nice chair, balcony, etc.). The restaurant is organic, creative and good, has many different dishes and great coffee.

I didn’t like the express room (too narrow, small window), so I did an upgrade to premium, a good choice. I wasn’t impressed by the breakfast, but it was okay.

Very nice place at a great location. Staff was very friendly and adjustable (we had an early 6 am a la carte breakfast), they also gave us a free breakfast with our early check in the first day. Room was clean and tidy. Restaurant was great, buffet breakfast was very good. Location is good in a safe area - you'll be using Uber to get around Kampala anyway so it doesn't really make much sense to be right in the centre of the city.

Maybe we were missing another power socket (there was just one, inconveniently located next to the window).

Very humble staff, Shevan, Chance and the other other guy at the reception, sorry i forgot the name were exceptional. Ready to assist and give you ideas on everything. The owner upgraded me without a second guess. Simple breakfast but very well balanced. Its location is superb and accessible to major places especially those who love to walk. The security for the night is such a vibe. I recommend the place to everyone who is looking for a place to stay in Kampala. I will be back !!

Excellent value for Kampala with efficient and engaging staff, shout out to Frank and Jacob. The restaurant food was exceptional with the restaurant having a wonderful ambience and good vibe. The rooms are large with air conditioning and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful with a variety of fresh juices, fruits and also a hot choice of plates to consider. I returned for a second stay as I was so impressed with my first stay.

Frank was a Liverpool supporter, but with sympathies for my team Brighton this can just about be forgiven.

Situated in a calmer area, tucked away from the street with possibilities to sit outside of your rooms facing the well-kept garden. On the same grounds, there is a restaurant/bar where also a good and copious breakfast is served, they have great cocktails and food as well. A little organic convenience store can be found at the grounds as well. You can recharge your batteries without having to move around a lot. The staff is attentive and helpful.

Depending on were you were, the internet connection was better/worse, sometimes interrupted. Ok for normal smartphone use, maybe a problem if you have to work from your computer. The daily cleaning of the garden started before 8am and could be a reason to wake up earlier than you wanted.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic. It is exceedingly well run, with a great menu, good food (very good breakfast), good space to work, welcoming, friendly and helpful staff and I was delighted with my room.

Ok, the wifi is sometimes not 100%, though I have to say this is equally a probelem elsewhere in Kampala, especially when its raining

The location was fantastic. It was in an upscale area of town and it felt very safe. There were many chic restaurants nearby, including the hotel's own restaurant. We loved the breakfast buffet, which had lots of interesting options (including samosas!). The rooms were very comfortable and I liked how all of the rooms faced into a courtyard. It felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again the next time that I come to Kampala!

There was a lot of loud music coming from nearby establishments until about 11 PM, but then the music suddenly stopped (which we were very grateful for). This didn't bother us too much, but I felt that I should mention it, in case other guests like to go to sleep earlier. It was fine for us.

The small hotel is in a very central location of chaotic Kampala but is incredibly calm and provides an excellent opportunity to relax, as it is secluded by high walls and trees. Staying in the building at the back (where you should ask for a room), I could enjoy the little, pleasant garden where I could sit having tea in front of my bedroom door. The room had a decent size and was well equipped with air conditioning, a mosquito-net and tea/coffee facilities, which I really appreciated. Adjacent to to the hotel, there's a good restaurant which serves simple but trasy local and international dishes made with organic products till late, The resstaurant also has a very nice and peaceful open terrace where you can eat outside, in a nice atmosphere. All the property is very clean and I paid a very reasonable price for the quality and the location of the accomoodation.

The bathroom is a bit dated, but everything works well: best water and hot pressure I had in Uganda! All the staff are very kind but some sound a bit unexperienced: booking a taxi early in the morning was quite an issue, although before and at my arrival I had anticipated I would need a taxi. In the end all worked well, but it was a bit stressful at the beginning.
