Fantastic hotel, immaculately clean. Good facilities (pool, sauna, steam room, sensory showers). Unfortunately the sauna wouldn't get very hot on the second day (65-70) assuming this was due to a fault. Not too far from the metro, bus stations and tourist information who were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, well presented and a good variety for all diets. If I had to pick on one thing, it would be that there was no option of porridge but there was plenty to choose from. Evening meal is by room service or in the lobby, the menu is limited to sandwiches, salads, charcuterie boards and pizza.... A bit carby for most but there are lots of restaurants in the immediate vicinity if this doesn't suit. Pedro on front desk was efficient, and friendly with a good sense of humour and excellently fluent in English. Taxi to the airport was very easily booked at the front desk and the driver Ronaldo was a pleasure to talk with. I can't really fault this hotel and I'm not very easily pleased.

This is probably the best hotel we've encountered in a while! First, the staff is absolutely the best, they are friendly and helpful, there is always someone at the front desk. Second, the amenities are great, we loved the sauna and the beautiful pool. Third, the room is comfy, and the AC is great too! And the views are amazing, you can see the ocean and the port right there. The location is fantastic, you can walk everywhere and it's easy to explore Porto and surroundings from this location. Whatever you need is close by too: restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies. And they also have free water and snacks by the elevator! And they also give you recommendations for the local places to see. We loved it and we are very likely to come back again :)

We enjoyed the conversation the moment there. I have been to the Eurostar Hotel in another branch in Guimaraes, but this experience was different and great. The staff were so friendly and caring. Nice indoor swimming pool, clean room. Daily cleaning room service. The hotel location was close to the harbour shopping mall and beach. The room with a balcony had a minibar and coffee maker

Nothing exactly, but I can say that there was a grilled Restaurant close to the hotel and during lunch or dinner, there was a smell of grill everywhere, and we couldn’t enjoy the balcony at that moment at all.

This is the second time we stay in Eurostar Matosinhos as a family and we love it. It is a comfortable hotel that punches above its weight. Close to the beach and located in a street with a lot of restaurants, the hotel is quiet and functional. I find the bedrooms quite comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast has a good variety of tasty options with increasing local products. The pool is very inviting and just the right temperature. The Spa has outstanding staff - exceptionally knowledgable.

We found the front desk staff to be friendly, welcoming and professional. They made sure we knew about local areas to explore and transportation options. The room was lovely and clean, the breakfast was delicious. We had a late flight, so the hotel staff let us know we could have late check out, and that they could keep our luggage safely until we had to leave for airport. They also let us know that we could enjoy the common areas of the hotel during the rest of the day. Very nice experience, we highly recommend Eurostars.

All of the reception staff were so helpful, warm, friendly, and professional. Their help and advice about the metro service, about where to go and anything in the hotel, made my holiday so easy and enjoyable. I give them 10 out of 10 for their excellent customer service. The rooms ( although it stated ) are not sound proof. Other adjoining guests had their TV on loud until late. Although the hotel can't control what others do, maybe a sign reminding people others may want to sleep. Also when the doors close they slam and make a very loud noise, my room even shook with the vibration. Other than the noise factor I would still go back again . It was a very pleasant experience

The location of this hotel was perfect to get to and from the airport as well as Porto City Centre and the venue we needed to attend a big event at. We did travel by taxi and the whole trip took around 20 minutes each way. The breakfast was so lovely and the staff was incredible. amazing fish restaurants just on the door step with fresh locally sourced products. The reception was extraordinary with accommodating all our requests and securing us special toiletries and other information we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the room, though a little humid after the showers, very spacious and cosy.

We would have appreciated a quicker responsiveness from the lounge bar, because the drinks were so yummy, however we needed to wait around 20-30 minutes before anyone showed up at the bar and then it took quite long to be served after putting through our order.

It was an amazing holiday, I got free upgrade of my room for my Birthday and ocean view on the top door. Staff is amazing, polite, help with any questions. Breakfasts were delicious, food choice is amazing. Ocean is 2 min from the hotel and there are a lot seafood restaurants on the street where’s the hotel situated. No noise, good sound insulation. Room was very clean and sparkled after day-to-day cleaning. I definitely liked this hotel.

Everything is perfect

Breakfast was good, with a lot of choices. Location is good, near the beach and 3 min walk to the bus or tram station (500 bus takes you directly in Porto center area and sometimes there are double deckers on this route). Airport is reachable with direct bus or with taxi/uber/bolt and it's not expensive. The room was clean. The pool was nice, the water was warm (too bad that the pool was closed 3 days from my 6 days stay, because water was changed). A lot of good restaurants choices in the area.

There was a slightly smell in the bathroom, which was not so nice (cause by moister or sewer, even if the bathroom was clean and looking good). The bed was too soft for my back. The location is good, but for visiting Porto, be prepared to wait the public transportation and the journey to take some time, 30-50 minutes (the bus/tram have a schedule but in most of the cases the hours are not according to the reality).
