Staff very friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and took just a few minutes, with everything explained clearly and concisely. I didn't come for tourism (conference) but staff were still able to offer me some nice tips on where to eat and what to see in my short periods of time in the afternoons and evenings. Room was comfortable, with enough space for all my stuff and quite quiet at night time (though Malmo is not the busiest city, admittedly), towels and toiletries were provided and everything was very clean. One thing that surprised me was the quality and variety at breakfast: though the spread was the same every day, there was plenty to choose from: warm or cold, sweet or savoury. I particularly liked the bread that one needed to cut oneself. Location is excellent as well, being about a 5 minute walk to the heart of the old city, 5 mins from the train station, and about 15 minutes from the coast (with the view of the Oresund bridge)

The room is a little small. I was alone and so this was fine, but a couple or travelling pair (or whatever) would likely be a bit more of a struggle, and this would almost certainly not accommodate a family. Minor detail, but the windows in the room and the bathroom only opened a small crack, making airing the place out a little difficult - particularly annoying after taking a shower.

I participated in a meeting at Malmö Live but wanted a cheaper alternative to their hotel. BW Royal was right across the street from Malmö Live, 2 minutes walk, and 5 minutes from the railway station and 5 minutes from restaurants in the old town centre. The breakfast was overwhelming with a generous choice of everything you could imagine; I did not try the dinner option but it seemed OK. Charming house with meandering passages to my room which had a beautiful tiled stove but otherwise was undecorated and had a monk's cell feeling. Staff were very kind and polite. Laundry was super quick and super cheap but did not include ironing so the cleaned shirts were not immediately ready-to-wear.

I can't really think of anything to criticise!

It is a great combination of price and quality. The hotel is located in the city centre with a view on the river which is amazing. The people working there are very helpful and friendly! Always looking to provide you with a best option. For me it was early check-in. The apartment itself is not big, but it is not small either. Clean and tidy. There is a place to work remotely if you need it. Great WiFi quality. Spacious bathroom. Kettle and hairdryer in the room. Great breakfast: you have a variety of meet dishes like sausages, meatballs, bacon, ham, etc, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, beans, a variety of bread and bubs, muesli, yoghurt, waffles, vegetables and fruits.

Staff are very nice and friendly. The service are excellent. There are some breads, coffee and tea provided for free in the afternoon tea time, it is very comfortable to have a relaxing time sitting in the restaurant with the food and drinks. Also the room are clean and comfortable, included breakfast that contains many different types of food, especially for the cinnamon rolls, very tasty. Location is near the Malmo central Train Station (about 5 minutes walk). Also easy to walk to the city centre for attractions. Will probably stay here again for next time. Strongly recommend!

With its proximity to Malmö Central station, this hotel is an excellent combination of value for money. On the plus side, the location of the room was a guarantee for a quiet night. Also, my room was among the most spacious I have had in years. In addition, I appreciated the staff's flexibility in preparing a bite that I could take away or consume on the spot, since my flight forced me to check out before the breakfast hours.

The room I was given was secluded away from the main body of the building and reachable via a little inner courtyard. No major hassle, unless it rains, perhaps. The ambience of the room was a bit "dated", probably hinting to the need of renovation some time soon. Another hint was the fact that the safe in my room did not work. A battery problem, in all likelihood, but since I was staying only a couple of hours away from the room, I did not even flag this.

Good breakfast - from ham and cheese to fruit, vegetables, cereals and warm food like bacon, meatballs, waffles and scrembled eggs, late check in without problems, free caffee all day, lift (can be helpful info for those with movement problems), water and teas for free in the room, kettle, near central station, terrace

Our room was from the side of busy street so it was loud(er), very bad solution of bathroom - just glass door without lock with big gaps, no privacy and awkard to go to the toilet, no a/c

Very good location, 5 minutes walk from the Central Station. The hotel is very clean, the room big and comfortable. The hotel had one of the best breakfasts, we even found glutenfree bread and vegetarian options. At the reception area there is all day long very good free coffee and tea. The staff is beyond expectation, friendly and professional. We had very nice experience with Maria at reception, as we arrived earlier than the check in, we only wanted to leave the luggage until we explore the city. But Maria was so kind, that she informed us they have preaprared room and she gave us our room earlier, with so much kindness!! We were really pleased and we will be back for sure!

Super comfortable bed (fell asleep as soon as head hit the pillow). Great room - plenty of space with wardrobe, drawers and cabinet. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Staff on reception were extremely helpful (even obtaining a telephone number for me to ring a local pub to check if they were screening a particular football match one evening). Catering staff were extremely friendly - always a cheery hello from them. Location just by Central Station was excellent too.

I like the receptionist. She was very good with her information and was patient to explain the places to visit. She also offered us drinks at a later time (when we came back to pick up our bags) even after we checked out of our hotel room. We also like the spread given at breakfast

Having said that, our room felt a bit stuffy. perhaps the ventilation there needs checking. there was a tiny fan in the room which helped but it was somewhat half broken (as we couldnt put it into stationary mode)

The hotel has a new part and an older part. This time I got a room in the newer part. All rooms are nice but with a different character. Especially the rooms in the older part are different from room to room. The breakfast has everything I normally eat for breakfast, including both cold and hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon, muesli, yoghurt etc. A new thing I was tough this time is that there is always free coffee in the reception.
