Its in downtown so that makes it accessible to a lot of activities

A lot of stuff in the hotel room wasn’t present. I was staying with one other person and there was only 1 bath robe, and no slippers and no dental care kit.

Rooms are large, beds are super comfy, everything is impeccably clean. Very well located and with very helpful staff when it comes to figuring out how to get around, do what you need to etc. There is a 24hr shop within the hotel, which is handy for anything you've forgotten or quick snacks. Room service is great too. I also managed to check-in early after a red-eye flight thanks for a very kind receptionist I didn't manage to catch the name of!

The swimming pool apparently was new, and so the changing facilities etc were not usable (you had to get changed in the lobby bathroom if you wanted to hang out there after checkout..?), and the gym was closed. Both of these things would have been helpful to know in advance. Also do note, for anyone needing to get to the Emirates Towers regularly, while it is a 10min walk on the map, during the day there is absolutely no shade on that route and you will 100% need to get a taxi; once the sun sets, you can walk back though.

Not far from Dubai Mall and the Future Museum (6 to 10 minutes by taxi), the hotel is located in an area pretty far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was clean and quiet. We were provided with several bottles of drinking water every day, with no extra charge. The staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast was really good (apart from the pancakes!): great variety, ranging from savoury to sweet, with local and international dishes and fresh fruit. A pity we couldn't swim in the outdoor swimming pool: too hot for us at this time of the year!

No shops, no restaurants nearby, so going for a stroll near the hotel is not a good idea. The easiest way to go somewhere is by taxi or by the hotel shuttle (we never managed to catch it). Beware, not all the taxis outside the hotel have the meter, so you may be charged more.

Location is EXCELLENT for those attending Gulfood. Also not far from the biggest attractions in Dubai as well. Hotel breakfast was very good. Staff well trained, polite and helpful. All services working fine. There is even a small shop at the lobby, 24/7, selling beverages and snacks. Very good idea to keep a shop like this inside the hotel.

Free wi-fi could be better. No bathtub, which I missed the most. Windows are sealed - cant open. Perhaps for security, I don't know, but I didn't like the fact you couldn't open them.

I booked a double room and received a twin single joined together. They did say they will change it later but nobody did anything (seems they wanted to see if I would chase). I wasn’t bothered too much because I had a busy schedule but it’s still an annoyance

The staff is the best

I was not happy with the breakfast, they didn't have the variety of food like before and the taste was not good, they didn't info us about the swimming pool during the booking that it is under construction and it really mess up our plans because we were supposed to walk in the heat to the next hotel so that we can swim, yes shuttle is there but the timing didn't suit us

Asians spitting,in pool and nose blowing into plants one guy even using his vape in the breakfast dining table area...which I told staff and they promptly addressed it. Smoking not really acceptable in public places these days but hotel bit lax on that..smokers around pool area which to me isn't acceptable by other hotels these days...NO smoking signs should be mandatory

Hotel: We had a lovely time staying in this hotel. Lala the Receptionist who let us check in even though we arrived 3 hours early. Upon check out, Lala also provided us big packed breakfast as we are leaving very early. Saddiq, the restaurant staff and also the young female restaurant staff who were very helpful with our requests. The chef who always prepare my order in advance before I even ask for it. The porters who are ready to help. The pool, sauna and steam bath are great amenities. 24 hour convenient mini-store inside the hotel is a good idea for late snacks. Location: 5 minutes walk to metro station. One of pick-up hotels for Desert Safari Tour. Close proximity to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Only 5 metro stops away. Near Gold Souk. About 6 metro stops away. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended.

Booked hotel via Booking.com last year as it had an amazing half board price available at the time of booking. Arrived late in the evening and was checked in quickly. The room was acceptable, a normal room with a very big bed and a pull out sofa, which for an adult in uncomfortable. We had breakfast everyday, and mixed the second part of the deal with either lunch or dinner, as it was Ramadan, we have lovely middle eastern dishes at night. The restaurant staff, especially Dita and her manager were outstanding everyday, and they made sure we had water on our table. The food was lovely, even thought it is pretty much the same dishes daily. Other members of staff were very accommodating. The shuttle to and from the beach gets full up, and same for the return, so avoid being late for both trips. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the World Trade Center Metro Station, so handy when it comes to taking a trip to the Burj Khalifa or the the Old Town in Deira. We will be coming back, if we plan another trip to Dubai in years to come. Thank you for having us Novotel World Trade Centre.

The juices in the restaurant didn't taste nice, and the price of one beer and a large shandy at the bar, I paid 23 pounds, which is expensive for a beer, aside from this everything else was perfect!

Staff, location and facilities.

No instant coffee in the room. When I asked house keeping they said they are trying to avoid the use of single use plastics. This is a great idea. So, I ended up waiting 20 minutes for a coffee - my first one in the morning. While I appreciate the hotel's green policies, I would have expected they would find a solution for a guest to have access to coffee instantly without having to call for it and then wait 20 minutes.
