Central to our needs. Family is close enough to visit.us. Staff is very pleasant. My husband loves football. He was very happy with sports.bar.. Full of Television. The hotel has Starbucks on site, which is my favorite.

The room we had did not have enough storage. Although the staff did try to help.We thought the hotel was more for short stays. We were staying for two weeks. The rooms were not as clean as they should have been.a little dusty, some towels were stained. There were times when the tea, coffee and milk, and towels were not changed at all.. We had to go downstairs and ask for them. The bar and the public toilets were clean in the morning, but as people used the facilities, they didn't seem to have the staff to keep up with keeping things presentable. Breakfast was a buffet at about 10 pounds. It was cold when we went.We decided to stick to a warm croissant and coffee for breakfast. When the food was made to order in the evening it was good.

A really interesting check-in experience, DIY. Brilliant location, close to amenities, coffee shops etc. The gym and pool are fantastic, although can get a little busy. The staff at the hotel and the gym/pool were really friendly and helpful.

The bathroom is substandard for the price with painted MDF paneling on the bathtub that is quite stained. Toilet seat also needs to be fixed. No SKY in the room, and the reception staff had no idea in how to sort it as 'the sky box was fixed behind the screen, recessed into the wall.'

My second visit in 6 months. This time for seven days. And this time in Summer. The staff here are excellent. Many thanks to Jackie and Anna on reception. There are many others I also had interactions with. My room was on the 1st floor overlooking the car park and roads leading out of the Village. I used the gym once but I fell ill for my stay so I asked for a refund. Breakfast was a busy time everyday; lots of people staying here. Thanks to Lauren and Diane on Breakfast duties.

Air-conditioning was not working and my room was an oven. Requested a fan on my first night but none was available. The following nights I had some comfort from a small fan. I like this hotel very much but for the money I pay for a week I could at least sleep comfortably.

Very clean modern and facilities were great.

Breakfast seemingly wasn’t topped up enough as most of the tubs were empty or near empty although admittedly we did come down at 10am. Also no reflection on the hotel at all here with this point, but some guests are just dirty, when there’s tongs provided to pick up the bread, why they felt the need to handle every slice with their bare hands to check if the bread is soft only to toast it anyway is beyond me! Disgusting and after witnessing this we didn’t end up having any toast.

I usually stay at this hotel around once a month, I like that there is a bar and grill in the hotel aswell as a Starbucks, the location is also good with cinema and Hollywood bowl and multiple restaurants right on the door step,

I don't like the way the prices go up and down, this stay was £130 for the night, I tried getting a room the following month to visit my mother for mother day and your prices where £250 for the night, so I went and stayed at travelodge 2 minutes down the road or less than £100 a night. Also prices of drinks at the bar are expensive nearly a tenner for double southern comfort and lemonade. Almost fell over

We chose the Village because we were going to see Coldplay at the Etihad Stadium. The tram stop and line was nearby and frequent. It was the perfect location for our needs. The Hotel had much to commend it; great facilities, friendly staff, clean, speedy checkin/out. In the immediate area were many fast food outlets, pubs, cinema and bowling alley too.

Breakfast was disappointing. No one kept an eye on the diminishing hot food which led to waits and cold food - very disappointing. And an air con had a mind of its own.

The location, ample parking, modern hotel with amenities including bar and starbucks. Room was clean and well presented with a window that actually opened and aircon that worked! Well, done for that as that.

Having to pay for car parking!! Absolutely ridiculous - customers who stay in hotel are subsidising every other user of the hotel, specifically the customers who use gym and pool and given that you will have regular hotel bookings with loyal customers, they will just continue to pay parking tax when locals get free parking. When you pay £230+ for two nights it's absolutely abhorrent that you charge for parking. Rant over

Breakfast was good..no fried eggs on the one day. No shower caps in room Services were good

Car park is a large area, disappointing there were no electric EV chargers to charge car available at the hotel or surrounding area. Would have been convenient if had would have stayed around the area during stay if was available. Would not need to go out of area to source for one.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff we met were very friendly. The location was excellent for our needs

Even though the staff we met were very friendly there didn't seem many of them, especially at breakfast which was self service apart from if you wanted fried egg which you had to ask for them but when I was there no one was around to ask. I also thought the price was a little high.

I love the location and the rooms are always modern and clean. The facilities are fantastic. My son and his partner used the gym and pool and they loved the in-house Starbucks was a bonus. I always stay at the Village when I visit family in Ashton Under Lyne as it’s the best hotel in the area. Planning my next visit and I will be booking in-advance to get a good price for the room. I always book with booking.com and pay at the property which is handy if your planing and saving to visit family in the future.

Nothing loved it all.
