Friendly, helpful staff; the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from New Islington Metro Station.

I arrived at 12.45, tired as I had an early flight that morning. I was hoping my room would be ready early as was the case at other times when I stayed at this hotel. I was told by the receptionist that I could have my room early but it would cost an extra £10 to get it!! What a rip off! I was forced to hang around on a horrible wet day, for three hours before eventually getting my room, I have now decided that if this hotel wants to treat their customers in this manner, I won't be choosing it for future visits to Manchester

Handy location near to regular transport. Excellent room service. Pretty quiet room, with separate toilet, shower cubicle, single bed above double bed, desk, armchair.TV. Friendly staff. Went the extra mile. Able to get buffet continental breakfast as an extra.

Card facilities were generally down (affecting food offer etc) , though if you used cash, the local shop was handy, as is the Asda at Velopark tram stop plus Manchester Centre is not far. Staff administration was a bit slow, leading to irritating challenges by some staff over my person and breakfast rights. Lots of construction work in the area, adding to noise and dust. Use of one electrical point only (reported). Little storage.

Excellent location, especially if you are planning to attend a Manchester City game or visit the Etihad Stadium. It's also close to the city centre, and the neighbourhood is nice. My room was good and comfy. They offer luggage storage free of charge, which is good in case you have something to do in the city before the check-in.

The room's cleanliness: but it's something I complain about in the entire UK. You can see that the rooms aren't vacuumed properly. The pair of towels were very old and stained. There was no hand towel in my room - I didn't complain because was a short stay.

The room was on the small side and very basic, as expected from a budget accomodation, but it was very clean and comfortable, very silent and comfy beds including, surprisingly, the 3rd bunk bed! Very good shower, great pressure and hot/cold water, working A/C very efficient for the room, 24hr access and 24hr access on site to free tea/coffee and snacks drinks. The personnel was extremely kind and helpful, really added to our stay! Location is better than I initially thought, a very quick walk to the city centre walking along the canals, so quite pleasant. We had a very pleasant stay, for the price, extremely good value/price ratio

Room size for 3 could be bigger

I particularly loved the cupboard toilet which was perfect for an exceptional bathroom experience whilst still feeling like you’re in the room. my friend was ecstatic with the bunked situation which reminded her of her childhood whilst also proving a healthy challenge whilst paralytic. i also liked being able to see my other female friends shower in the centre of the room. it was a lovely bonding activity. we also lived the londis down the road where we dined at each night. The TV was a lovely surprise with the “budget” status if the hotel.

it was a shame to see so many drug abusers lurking amongst the property. however, all were friendly. moreover, the hotel was actually very secure so on a serious note felt safe. had to wear shoes as the floor was as dirty as said drug abusers. although we enjoyed the cupboard toilet we agreed as a group to use public facilities instead.

Check in was quick and stress free, the staff and domestic staff were very pleasant, the room was okay, the shower was amazing so much room inside, did not want to come out, bed was comfy, so had a good night sleep.

More options for the continental breakfast could be something to add, cleaning of the areas, needs to be monitored better, the toaster area, had no pincher available to take the bread out, so everyone is using their hands, not at all hygienic. Tables should be cleared and cleaned quicker, as not all customers cleared their plates after eating, so the staff should check this more. This was a concern to me as I work in this field of hygiene.

The staff were lovely and helpful the bed was comfortable and clean catered to all our needs

Didn't have spare pillows so had to put us towels in a pillow case as the ones we had were to thin. And there was no kettle to make a tea or coffee which would have been nice to sit in room to wake up with. Other than that lovely clean stay would definitely come back again hopefully with a kettle in the room with tea coffee ect.😊 My partner came from Portland Oregon America and we would stay again. Thank you

Myself and 20 of my colleagues travelled from Ireland on a Mystery Tour. The hotel were so helpful when I was organising it. They emailed to confirm every thing and ensure I got the rooms I booked for the group. When we arrived, I checked us all in and it was very quick. While every one was waiting, they had some complimentary tea and coffee - which was very welcome as it was baltic outside! The rooms were exactly as they were advertised on the website. Clean, comfortable and comfy! Value for money was brilliant. They had a fridge with lots of different beers and drinks along with some snacks which we were able to enjoy after our night out for a reasonable price. The staff were so friendly and so welcoming and even joined in in an Irish sing song with us! Thank you so much for everything! 100% recommend.

For a one night stay did the job, good value, breakfast ok, lovely shower, good location , helpful staff, weather was freezing weather conditions which was not their fault...loan of a heater which was handy for the room Pizza delivery also

Absolutely freezing in the room even with AC heating on, however I was loaned a small heater and much better after that....not their fault due to freezing weather conditions No tea making facilities in the room but plenty to help yourself to downstairs if you want to leave the room...no hairdryer unless you rent one....really needed for the freezing temperature after a shower
