A bargain price, most helpful staff and very handy location. I'd seen reviews complaining of noise at the Hotel Unique. I was one floor above the pub, there on a Saturday night and I really wasn't disturbed by this at all. The fact that my room had quadruple glazing (two sets of dg windows with a substantial space between) meant any sound from outdoors was well filtered. Crisp, clean towels and bedding, good shower, decent wi-fi and all within a few minutes walk of tube/buses and plentiful local facilities at Golders Green.

At this price, I have no complaints!

It was a great price for London, considering that I booked it only one day in advance. So was very happy with the price, and frankly for that money it is probably the best you can get. It was clean, location was fairly convenient, just 2 min walk from the Golder's Green station, personal shower, comfortable bed, what else do you need for a short stay?

It was quite close to the overground metro line so you could hear the trains. I personally grew up by the busy railway so I'm used to it and didn't care, but some might find it disturbing.

No staff available in mornings I was locked out after heading for a coffee on the last morning of stay and had to stand 40 minutes in the rain until another guest let me back in, despite calling the hotel number and continually ringing the door bell My card let me in the outer door, and eventually into my room, but not into the downstairs door!

The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are always warm (which is great after you've been outside in the cold). The room has a lot of tee and coffee and an electric kettle, as well as a fridge, which comes in handy. The staff was very nice. Although it is zone 3 of the tube, since the hotel is so near the station and London is very well connected through the tube system it is easy to get anywhere from the hotel. Also, the neighbourhood is great, with a lot of commerce.

The tube/train passes very near to the hotel, as well as cars, and the windows aren't very isolated, so you can hear them passing all night.

The room and onsuite bathroom were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room had a mini fridge, kettle, good selection of teas and coffee. Set of drawers, hanging space and aircon. The bathroom has liquid hand soap and shower gel. The towels are a good quality. The shower was very clean and had a good volume of water. Location near the bus station at Golders Green.

With the window open it's quite noisy from the traffic. The hanging space is above the tea/coffee making area. So not suitable for dresses. Nowhere to hang coats, a hook would have been nice.

Great perks, not busy, includes a mini fridge which a bonus, lovely cafe/ shisha lounge downstairs. Slight technical difficulties i.e. tv runs slow, card keys plays up a bit. Other than that as long as you are organised and let the staff help as much as possible, the staff are superb they were very informative, go above & beyond to accommodate you.

I believe one of the rooms is exposed to the busy high street, can invade privacy and more particularly noisy due to the train station etc. Ensure to request a room not located to face the high street.

Very clean room and bathroom. Instructions on how to enter the building are sent as a message, so definitiely remember to read this (it's not Spam!). It felt like a self serve hotel, almost no staff presence whilst I was there. Excellent location in the heart of Golders Green. Compared to where I live (which is almost slient at night), it was very noisy with the tube train, buses, traffic and people outside. I would have struggled to sleep without earplugs. Suggest you take these if you are a light sleeper. The air conditioning unit in the room was totally silent which was a nice surpise. Nice hot water and good shower. No noise from other users. Basic, clean and good value for money overall, I would stay there again. Nice bar downstairs. Great location, 2 minutes from Golders Green Tube and Bus station. Lovely cafe's and places to eat near by. Added bonus: go to Golders Green Park, its about a 10 minut walk, has got a small zoo, a Roman like building, woodlands and is a very pleasant space.

Controlling the room temperatue took some time to figure out as the screen on the controller seemed to flicker on an off and sometimes not be visible. The room was overwhelmingly warm on arrival but after opening the window and adjusting the setting to 'snow' and adjusting the fan speed it was nice a bit later. Road noise as mentioned above.

Let's begin with how welcommed i have been made by a lovely Receptionist-what a great start for my day!:) The location is so perfect-the hotel is just opposite the Golders Green underground station,shops and restaurants just around the corner,pub downstairs. My room was spacious and clean.Tea choice was excellent!The only thing i could pick on-there was no spoons,i had to go and buy some from the shops. Tv was working well and had lot's of channels. Bed was comfortable. I had a very nice stay and definitely will come back soon. Thank you Unique Hotel!:)

Can be a little noisy because of the underground next to the hotel but luckily i am not a light sleeper.:)

Perfect meeting point for friends bussing into/out of Luton airport, as the coach stops at Golders Green. Literally across the street from the station. Staff were brilliant - contacted me to make arrangements to leave keys as we’d arrive after reception closed, arranged an iron and ironing board on request and made sure we had a contact number in case of any issues. Knew it was going to be quite a basic room so didn’t expect much but was surprised to find not only air conditioning but a small fridge to keep our food & drinks in. The bed was very comfortable and fantastic water pressure in the shower. Great little 24hr shop around the corner too. Perfect for a great one-night stay!

The only let down was the blind - as soon as it was light outside the room was lit up. A blackout blind or curtains would have made it perfect.

Location - very close to underground and bus stations. Easy check-in. Room was spacious and very clean. During my stay I didn’t meet or saw or heard any other guests so that was nice. Felt like all hotel was mine.

Location - right next to underground bridge and busy road, so sleep was impossible during the night. TAKE YOUR EARPLUGS! The temperature in the room was very hight and aircon was helping, but it’s very loud. Also, bathroom doors are not staying open and theres no doors stopper in the room, so after taking the shower, the bathroom stays humid and hot for the next 12-24hours. The fridge was either not working or it just takes few days for it to start working - I turned it on soon after checking in, but two days later it was still not even cool. The smell in the room and hotel was terrible - it has very strong incense sticks smell, and even after coming home my clothes were still smelly.
