We arrived and were greeted by the lovely owners Leigh and Sue, First time staying here and we were not disappointed. Hotel was nice and clean with a warm welcoming atmosphere, we booked two rooms 2 and 9 and both were clean and tidy with everything needed for a stay. Free WiFi is available but we did not use it so cannot comment on speed etc location is great close enough for all Blackpool has to offer but just off the main strip so nice and quiet on a night. We booked room only so no feedback on breakfast but on day of checkout I popped into the dining room so say our goodbyes and the food did smell very nice so think we missed out. All in all a little gem well worth a visit and we will be back. Thanks for a lovely weekend

Like a home from home. Owners Sue and Leigh were fantastic from beginning to end. Lots of tips of how to get around and attractions to visit.Leigh was a knowledgeable football fan so me and him has great chats. Breakfast was amazing and great value for money at £6 per person per night, range of cereals, toast and a cooked breakfast. Room had plenty of space for a couple with good ensuite. Was fresh and clean. Location perfect. 1 min walk from South Pier and beach. 5 min walk from Pleasure beach. If you are not able to walk far the tram stop is 2 min walk away which takes you all the way along the promenade. Would highly recommend and definitely return next year.

Nothing negative to say about the hotel. If I could give more than 10 out of 10 I would.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Me and my partner came from the 27th June- July 1st and it couldn’t have been better. Payed £191 for the 4 nights and the facilities were clean, the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee available and also shower gels in the bathroom. We had housekeeping every other day which was an added bonus. The owners were lovely, and told us about many places we could visit in Blackpool. They were there whenever we needed them and felt very safe within the hotel. For the price we paid it couldn’t have been better and we will definitely return on our next visit to Blackpool.

Nothing.

Met at the door by the lovely owners and made to feel totally welcome. We had our room upgraded which was unexpected and most welcome. Room 5 was really nice; beds where comfy, and a nice through breeze was possible. Tea and coffee making stuff in the room, and a TV. Shower was decently powerful. Breakfast was extensive, with continental or cooked options- worth paying for. Hosts where happy to indulge requests. Hotel in superb location with the Pleasure Beach a short walk away, Trams and Buses close. Velvet Coaster pub also in staggering distance. Really recommended.

Could have done with a big mug for tea instead of the small cups, but to be fair I never asked for one! Seemed like a gamble if to move the car due to the on-road parking, but with the trams/buses/walking distances it was not required anyway.

This was a return visit for us to Morrisy house and we brought more friends along as we loved it so much on previous visit , we love how welcoming Sue and Leigh are , they even remembered us from our last stay which was so nice , the kids love the rooms as they all have a wee theme and they always learn something different , it’s right next to south pier so it’s an ideal location , we were only a short walk to the in door water park which is a must if you are thinking of going we recommend it :) , we will defo be back to morrisy house in future that’s for sure and if your thinking of booking don’t second guess it’s great value and so friendly .

Absolutely loved our stay in Blackpool. Our hosts were really friendly and helpful and brilliant with our two young sons. The accommodation was lovely and clean and quite and just what we needed for our stay. Plenty of free parking on the streets and private parking was avaliable at the accommodation for free if we needed it, also the accommodation was well situated for the main strip and beach was only two minutes away, the tower and north pier are about a 15 minute walk but the tram stop is at a minute walk from the accommodation which can take you everywhere in no time. Overall we would highly recommend Morrisy House and will use again when we return to Blackpool in the future. Thank you Lee and Sue for a wonderful stay.

Sue and Leigh were exceptionally friendly. They allowed us to check in early and met us at their off-road parking, which is very rare in Blackpool. Leigh helped us carry our luggage to our room as we were on the first floor. The family room was large enough for myself, my daughter and my granddaughter. The hotel was in a great location and would definitely visit again

The only problem we had was that the curtains were not complete blackout curtains therefore caused difficulties, getting a 2 year old to sleep until darkness

Where to start... Free parking at rear of property. Slightly dated decor. Very welcoming owners who spend time getting to know their guests on their arrival and ensuring you know how everything runs. They then have a notice board with their tried and tested recommended eateries locally. Room was spacious, exceptionally clean, with everything one would need. Breakfast was Cereal, Toast&Jams, plus a perfectly nice small but adequate hot breakfast.

Mushrooms with breakfast

Leigh and Sue were the best hosts you could ask for, honestly, nothing was too much trouble. Their knowledge of the area and things to do, places to eat is fantastic. The location of Morrisy House is brilliant, literally on the doorstep is the Pleasure Beach, tram stop which goes all the way to Fleetwood Market. Then after a long day out, the rooms are so comfortable with everything you need and if there is anything extra you need like a hairdryer or iron, just ask and you will be able to borrow one for the rest of your stay. Our room was themed on the Heritage Tram, all the rooms have different Blackpool themes, which is a lovely touch, so well thought out. Then the beds.... the comfiest we have EVER been in and we have stayed at a few places. Brilliant night sleep. Breakfast was great aswell, just the right amount on your plate, but as Hubby says, if you are a big eater there is plenty of cereal, bread, toast and tea and coffee.. We will definitely be staying again, we will stay for a week next time. I would have booked it before we left but hubby needs to check with his work. Overall a great stay FABULOUS couple (Leigh and Sue) definitely will be back to blackpool and will definitely be staying at the same place again. X x

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.
