The property was exceptionally clean and well kept. Which from previous experiences of other places in Blackpool is very hard to find! The owners are very warm and friendly from booking to the actual stay they couldn’t do enough for you. It is located just up from south pier and the pleasure beach, but far enough from the strip to not be bothered by the crowds, we would know during our visit it was the world firework championship and the place was packed! I would recommend the Mornington to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again!

Very convenient for amenities, weatherspoons 2 mins away, good parking a 2 min walk and not too expensive, we had a very warm welcome from the owner and our room was ready early, we are planning on staying here again very soon, thanks for a lovely stay

Would have preferred slightly bigger bath towels, but this was the only thing that we would have changed everything else was great, this is the only thing I could mention so that means the owners are doing great

Firstly we were let into our room slightly earlier than expected which was such a big relief as we had suitcase and bags aswell as a pushchair, the staff were so friendly and welcoming it was made to feel home from home. I’ve been coming to Blackpool for 29 years and stayed at many different places but the Mornington hotel is by far one of my favourites, it was spotless and comfortable and the family room was so spacious. The location was right by the pleasure beach and south pier which was handy with an under two year old. Wanting to come back in October for my birthday and Will be definitely be booking this hotel again. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Nothing I didn’t like, just unfortunately didn’t do Breakfast the time of our stay but I booked knowing this and also had a message from Kay to apologise about it, it wasn’t a big problem just would of been nice to try there own breakfast, hopefully in future we can.

Wonderful Stay – Thank You Jay and Kay! Jay and Kay were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They were so kind to our children and even allowed us to check in an hour later than planned, which we really appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and perfect for our stay. We truly felt cared for and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you again for your warm hospitality!

Great location. Very clean and bed was really comfortable had a great sleep. Qwners were a really lovely couple. Sat with us in the bar at night and had a nice chat. Felt as if we had known them for years 😂. Would have given a 10. But wernt doing breakfast at the moment but new that on booking. Although did recommend a nice cafe 2 minutes away which was lovely. Also allowed us to bring food in. All in all a great place to stay and will definitely use again xx

Hotel was right opposite south pier which was fab as we went to sandcastle swimming pool. The owners Kay & John were great as when we arrived we couldn’t find a space outside hotel so John kindly moved his car so we could park right outside, we would definitely be back.

The only downside was not having a choice of meals Breakfast/Dinner but there was plenty places to eat, we chose to eat at Wetherspoons ( The Velvet Coaster) as that was just round the corner from hotel.

We order the Deluxe Twin Room. It's brilliant for our weekend away. Very reasonably priced. The hosts are a lovely couple. Five minute walk to Wetherspoons. This is the best hotel in Blackpool. We've tried other hotels but they aren't a patch on The Mornington. Thankyou to the hosts Kay and John. Simply the best from Beth and John. By the way... John moved his car for us to park. Brilliant. See you soon.

Lovely welcoming and helpful host! Room was clean, towels provided. WiFi included. Hotel is in a great location with a Spar and cashpoint across the road, chip shop a few doors down and South pier visible from the door. Free parking on other side of the road. Very close to Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterworld. Would love to stay again!

Great stay with wonderful stay and facilities. Friendly and welcoming. Good location with everything needed for a pleasant stay.

All was good. Would have maybe liked the chance to have a breakfast in the morning but plenty of places around.

First of all, I would like to thank the hotel management. Thank you very much. High-class, respectful hospitality, kind, polite, smiling, and friendly. I hope to return and stay with them with all enthusiasm.
