There is a lot to say. I want to start by thanking the staff who were very friendly from the very beginning. The room was welcoming, warm, the bed and pillows very comfortable. The breakfast which was included it was an absolute dream. I ordered the eggs royale and my husband the english breakfast. The food is a 10. The coffee is so tasty, aromatic, perfect for a cold day inside the quirky place. The location is right in the city center, 3 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from restaurants, shops, etc. I want to thank the owner for the warmth with which he received us and for the best service. Xx

I have only one complaint, if I had to say one, and that would be the fact that right in front of the hotel there is a bar where there are live singers until 11:00 p.m. It's extremely noisy, crowded, and people who consume too much alcohol tend to make a fuss at a rather late hour when I would most likely be sleeping if it weren't for the noise.

Wonderful little B&B in the middle of shops, bars and restaurants, 20yds from the stunning Broadstairs clifftop. There are four themed rooms. We were in Moulin Rouge which has glorious decor and furnishings including a theatrical poster with curtains over the roll top bath! The ground floor is a very cute little bar/cafe and the breakfasts were unbeatable. The owner and staff were lovely, it was like staying with friends. We can't wait to go back.

Nothing. It was perfect fun for a few days break.

We were at Ebenezer’s Place just for one night, visiting family at Broadstairs. What a delightful place to stay! When I opened the door I felt like a part of a fairytale. My other half characterised it like staying in a “dusty novel”. The room was clean and warm, the bed very soft, everything you’d need in the bathroom and complimentary coffees and teas in the bedroom (decaffeinated including). The hotel is in a great position – in a couple minutes walk from the beach, and there are pubs and restaurants just outside opposite the street. We used a nearby pay-and-display carpark, but the host recommended two streets in the area where you can park as well. I loved staying at Ebenezer’s Place and we’ll definitely be back 🤗

Some corners of the place were a bit tired, but this contributed to the character of the place.

Breakfast was excellent and the bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. The host moved us to a different room as requested although all of the rooms looked nice.

One of the features we were looking forward to was having a drink later in the evening in the lovely little bar with some friends. We went back at 4.45 and it was already shut which was disappointing as we did not know they shut early when we booked (5 pm in winter hours). The bathroom was nice but the actual bath was on a raised plinth so not particular easy to get in or out.

Literally minutes away from the coast. Very close to a range of places to eat. Love the individual features of each bedroom with a coffee machine and personal touches. I stayed in the Victorian and loved my bath tub! The service has been exceptional, my breakfast order was taken each day, cooked to perfection. Loved that they also served cocktails in the evening which is a quieter alternative to a noisy pub. Also loved that they supported local artists and bought a couple of artworks to take back with me. The service felt very personalised. I felt looked after and came away feeling rested.

As previous reviews have stated, convenience comes with the price of a bit of noise from the neighbouring pubs but this soon died down later on in the evening.

Very good breakfast, with great range of options. Location is great - in the middle of the hub of the town and just around the corner from the beach. Little cafe open most of the time too.

Slightly odd access to the rooms which entails going through one end of the kitchen. No one minded and it can't be helped giving the building layout, but something to be aware of!

We loved it. We stayed in the Moulin Rouge room, which was quirky and decorated with all-things folies-bergere! The bed was seriously comfortable. The location was ideal - near the beach, the gardens, and great for local pubs and restaurants.

If you're expecting a shower, forget it. There is a bath with a shower attachment - this is not for someone who has problems stepping in and out of a bath. The bedroom lacks space, and does not easily allow the spreading out of suitcase contents over the floor.

We loved the "You can have any breakfast you want" approach. We went for Smoked Haddock and Poached egg and we have to say Ebeneezer's was extremely unScrooge like, as we had to ask if we could have less the following day!

We loved the quirky rooms though the bath in the Beach room took quirky to extremes. Fortunately my partner and I are of small build however I know a good few people who would need aid to get out of the bath if they were unwise enough to sit in it!

Great location near the seafront. Absolutely beautiful room, I stayed in the Moulin Rouge room and it was just as I wanted. Comfy bed, claw foot bath, VERY warm radiators, even a big range of teabags and biscuits for a welcome. Getting my key was easy with a lockbox, and they even messaged me for my breakfast order in advance. Breakfast was great, in the very friendly cafe downstairs. Highly recommend.
