never been to Caernarfon before (even though i used to live in Bangor!) and it was a brilliant first time. we loved the property and it was such a bonus to have the communal area downstairs with the kitchen, dining area, iron etc. i think this could be advertised better on the website as it was a great addition to the room!
it would have been great to be able to turn on/off the bathroom light manually as whenever we used the bathroom during the night the light would light up the whole bedroom as soon as the door was opened etc. also my friend stayed on the sofa bed and said it was quite hard and uncomfortable, and we were unable to get on the wifi as the password on our card was incorrect and i did message to ask for the correct password but sadly didnt get a reply. although none of these things would put us off staying again.

Great central location, wonderful welcome, great facilities like shared kitchen, nice and clean with distant view of castle.
The room would benefit from a small side/ table lamp to have on in the evening when the children are asleep. The lighting was whole-room and bright. Also on lighting it would be good to be able to turn off the bathroom light which is on a sensor; in the middle of the night it was very bright and woke us up. Further up the road is a club/ bar which seems to play loud music in the street until 11pm. The host had kindly left ear plugs but it would be good to have maybe better seals on the windows.

The property location was amazing, it was right next to the castle and in the middle of all the little shops and restaurants. The bed was one of the comfiest beds we have slept in! It felt really nice and clean and the lady who worked there was very lovely and welcoming.
We weren’t a fan of the bathroom in the disabled suite the extractor fan didn’t seem to work and it felt damp/steamy which made the toilet wet and all the toilet roll. Maybe some body wash would have also been better rather than a tiny bar of soap between the two of us. (Only a small inconvenience as we really enjoyed our stay here)

Location. When we arrived I was quite concerned as it wasn’t the typical type of accommodation that we were used to but it turned out just fine. Sort of like a 5 star hostel. Room, beds, bathroom were nice and clean. Would stay again if in the area.
Birds (but nothing anyone can do about that) all night or most of it. Sat and Sun could be noisy due to the pubs nearby. Didn’t bother us but others it may.

The Welsh language and Community Enterprise elements were a big attraction, but the fantastic location and access to the town quay/dock and castle were unexpected and amazing! We really loved it, and enjoyed the huge and excellent selection of books in both languages that were available to read. Great conferencing facilities, a projector, kitchen, etc.
No breakfast, but a self-catering kitchen. I guess it is quite expensive to stay in the area. This was highly competitive, so that was fine. A leaky water tap was tended-to promptly. We went off-season, and would have enjoyed meeting other guests.

The facilities were exceptional and perfect for what we were looking for. Parking in the area was super easy, we always managed to find free on street parking round the corner or right outside the castle. We checked in late/out of hours, and check in was made super easy with the lockbox for he front door key and by the staffs WhatsApp messages to us with super clear information for us to get to our room.
Nothing! Can not fault. Our stay couldn't have been more perfect.

The location is fantastic, communication is also fantastic, we couldn't fault anything about the place and will hopefully return again next year for the snowdon marathon Also a massive plus for us was having the flexibility of free cancellation the only hotel that offered it this weekend 👏👏👏
This is not a criticism Just a note for anyone who will be staying there in the future, didn't affect us but it was a little noisy outside the hotel due to central location. Just people enjoying themselves and having fun and if we hadn't just done the marathon we would have been out there as well 🙂

Very central, I loved that there was a shared kitchen that allowed us to have a nice breakfast and prepare some food to take away during the hike. We forgot a couple of items in the bedroom and the staff were really helpful to send them back. Thank you very much for that.
Because it’s at the center of the action of the town, you might experience some noise coming from the street. Though pubs close at around midnight so you’ll be able to sleep in peace.

Lovely person who greeted us. A beautiful room which we were moved to when she saw my mother couldn’t easily walk up a further flight of steps, so they were very flexible and accommodating. A nice view of one of the nicest streets in Caernarfon. Close to nice cafes, pubs and restaurants. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. It seems I didn’t know that they had a room (for those with mobility issues) on the ground floor, but it was apparently taken. Finally, the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
It’s a shame they don’t offer some form of breakfast, even cereals, but the kitchen is good and useful, and has a large fridge. I’m not sure why they don’t offer toiletries; it shouldn’t have been offered in Bookings.com. The single beds are a little small.

Helpful friendly staff, freshly washed linen, plenty of tea/coffee/milk/loo roll and use of kitchen/iron and fridge if needed. Fan, kettle and hairdryer in room. Plenty of plugs. Powerful shower with good temperature and bath very clean. Great location for exploring the local area, close to Anglesey beaches and lots of food choices. Slate museum and copper mine only short drive.
Liked everything!
