Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was only for a night for me and a friend. Great parking & a quick check In. The rooms are lovely. The beds were really comfortable. The room was clean and we had a door on the room to outside. This was great as it was warm so let's lots of air in. Great tea & coffee with a good selection of hot drinks plus bottles of water & biscuits. The TV was on ok size. The bathroom was clean & a good size. Lots of fluffy towels & free toiletries which was great. Easy to use & powerful shower. We ate at the restaurant. Lovely food. Lots of choice including vegan options for my friend. The breakfast was brilliant. Great breakfast table & then a big menu for a cooked breakfast. A lovely view of the Menai Bridge through the window too. All in all a great place to stay. Close to lots of places to visit in Wales. Highly recommended.

There are quite a few stairs to the rooms so not easy to manage for people with mobility problems.

Room was lovely. Clean, contemporary and very comfortable. Food was very good too. Better than anticipated for a hotel/pub chain. I would happily stay again. Keep up the good work team.

Could do better in these areas. Hanging baskets outside hotel almost dead, which gave me (fortunately, unfounded) reservations about standards inside. Service in the evening dining room was slow, but it was very busy. Design of dining room chairs meant dirty/sticky hand marks showed dreadfully on the fabric on the arms of the chairs. Dirty ledges above dining table in breakfast room front window.

It was a good central location The bedroom was spacious and very clean , nice white fresh bed linen The tea / coffee facilities were very well stocked as were the toiletries Staff were, without exception helpful and friendly. 😊 Thankyou

We both felt the pillows were all extremely hard and uncomfortable It would have been nice to have one soft and one firmer pillow to cater for all tastes There was no prepared fresh fruit for the breakfast buffet ( fruit in juice like grapefruit/ orange segments or raspberries/ strawberries) There were whole apples or bananas etc and all else was good .

The staff were friendly and competent, the room as described however the weather was exceptionally warm which made it difficult to sleep despite having a fan provided, I'm sure that we would have been quite comfortable under more normal conditions. The dinner menue was varied and the food and service good. Breakfast finished a little early at 9.30 but there was no rush to clear away and the quality was good. Car parking was adjacent and the new bridge just outside the door.

just the heat and the hotel couldn't help that.

A very comfortable hotel with really friendly and efficient staff. Rooms and public areas are nicely decorated and in good shape. We were in a ‘cosy’ room so expected it to be small but it was a good size, the bathroom was huge and had a bath with shower over rather than just a bath. The food and service in the restaurant were very good, especially the breakfast. The hotel has 3 EV chargers which are free to use, they’re branded Tesla but will charge other makes.

in the evening the restaurant felt a bit soulless, but we had arrived late and there were few diners left.

The staff were excellent, very helpful. the room was comfortable and the meals were excellent. Hot breakfast cooked fresh, not buffet which I don,t like. Bar was great with good range of beere.

The room was too small for a 4 day stay, ideal for 1-2 nights. There was no wardrobe just a hanger frame and little room to store suitcases. Parking was a slight problem as so many people were using the bar and restaurant. Staff however sorted this for me.

Convenient location for visiting the Telford Menai Bridge and beautiful Straits. The hotel is all in very good order, decor and furniture etc. Our room was spacious and pleasant, the shower was modern and powerful. The food on offer was, in the main, excellent.

I don't know if there was a kitchen drama, behind the scenes, but breakfast service was abysmally slow ie 20 minutes to take any order and a further 25 to actually serve food.

It was very noticeable how exceptionally nice and professional the staff were. I asked for a room with a nice view and was absolutely thrilled with our room and view - I just wasn't expecting to have my request fulfilled. Thank you. We hadn't booked a table for an evening meal, but we were accommodated and a table found for us. The evening meal was delicious and our waitress was very efficient and kind. Everything was perfect. A very good breakfast with very polite attentative staff.

The rooms were very well kept and clean.

The room given to us was just above the pub so it was quite difficult to sleep when the pub was active. They forgot to given us a hair dryer and we had to ask for one. The room service did not replenish our used toiletries which was included in the room costs. we have stayed in the same hotel a year before and the service and everything else was perfect. This encouraged us to rebook again for 2022, but weee let down by the service.

The hotel was clean and room was well equipped and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. I was able to access a simple breakfast from 7am as I needed to leave by 7.30am. The position of the hotel was accessible and easy to find - plenty of parking. I was able to go for a pleasant early morning walk.

The noise from the bar could be heard very easily from my room and some of the guests were very loud well into the night.
