A lovely, cosy, comfortable and friendly hotel. Quite old fashioned- and I mean that as a compliment. Good to see that small, personalised, friendly little hotels like this still exist. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I had a very relaxing stay and slept really well. The room was comfortable and had everything i needed for the weekend. The location was also good and easy to access central Manchester and local areas. I thought it would be noisy due to the nearby airport but it wasn't.

Period property close to airport with a host recommended taxi from airport to hotel and vise versa. I requested a ground floor room which was comfortable and nicely furnished in tasteful style. Comfy bed with cotton bedding. Ensuite small but adequate for my 1 night stay. The property has a lounge and dining room and offers bed and breakfast and dinner if booked. I booked room only due to my flight time so did not sample meals. Arrived late but my host made me an omlette, perfect for the late hour and after a long haul flight. The property is about 10 mins from the airport and has adequate parking. My welcome there could not be better. If you are looking for accommodation with character and a more personal experience than a motel this would be a good choice as it is family run. Would stay there again.

Not much. This property Is on a main road and flight path so some people may object to the noise but the same would apply for all accommodation near the airport. Regardless, I bad a good nights rest which readied for my next flight.

The room was pleasant, clean and just what we needed for a night's stay. The directions to self-check-in after hours, were very helpful. Fifteen minutes in the car/taxi from the airport, give or take. My wife had the continental breakfast and I had the cooked English breakfast, which were both really tasty and just what we needed after a late flight the night before. The host was very accommodating, friendly and charming. Would recommend if you're passing by.

The location is okay, we only stayed for one night and didn't get a proper sense of Cheadle but there weren't many amenities close by, or anywhere to go for a walk but we didn't expect to be staying very long.

Everything was very clean. The gentleman in charge of everything was extremely helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. Although very close to the airport, the area is relatively quiet apart from cars going past until the planes start taking off again in the morning. Free parking. Be aware that spaces are a little tight to get into if you have a large car. Great breakfast.

We stayed in a twin room. The mattresses were quite soft and a little thin. The water pressure in the shower is a little low. However, this would not stop me from staying again.

Excellent reception as we arrived. Took our bags to our room and explained all we needed to know. Very pleasant, polite man. Very clean and smelt fresh. Plenty of towels and shower gel on the wall. Tea, coffee, uht milk. I needed a plaster and was helpful and gave me several. It was on the main road and easy to find, with less than 10 mins drive to Manchester airport. Plenty of parking, but a little tight however, my husband parked his 7 seater with no problems. We would use again.

Beds weren't great, but it's fine for an airport stopover.

Convenient location for me to stay to get a bus to the airport early in the morning for an early flight. The building has a lot of character and the staff are lovely. I’ve stayed twice and the rooms have been comfortable and clean with good bathroom and comfortable beds. Decent sized rooms too. The lady who checked me in was really nice and brought my bag around to the room for me. They’d turned the heating on before I arrived so the room was nice and warm too.

I was staying in the courtyard which was fine - the only issue with the room was that the room door has frosted glass in it which keys light in from the sensor lights outside. I hung a towel from a hook on the back of the door to cover the glass and block some of the light.

This was a very good overnight stay before boarding a plane next day. The lady who owns the place was very helpful, allowing us to put a bottle of wine in the fridge in the breakfast room and eat our take away dinner there. Even though our room was tiny it was very clean. Totally recommended.

The room was tiny - we had to put one of our suitcases in the shower. This may have been because at the last moment I requested a ground floor room as we didn't want to carry our bags upstairs. I'm sure there are other rooms much larger.

We stayed here due to an early morning flight from Manchester airport. The hotel organised the taxi for us and we were able to leave our car there during the time of our trip. The hosts were amazing and so lovely. Our room had everything we needed and was so cute. We will stay here again if we are flying from Manchester it made our outward journey so much more relaxed. We saw they had breakfast aswell but we would not have been able to make that due to the early flight but is good to know as it would be a lot nicer and cheaper than the airport!

The check-in was smooth, the public area was classy, decorated with a lot of love and care and really reflects on the heritage of the building and the city. The room was clean and charming (I love exposed wooden roof beams). Bed comfortable & shower hot. I stayed there for a early pick-up from the airport so it was perfect for that. You can see the owner really takes pride in what they do and how much they love the city (from the photo that line the staircase).

Excellent location, great spot to stay when you're flying out of Manchester! It's so close to the airport, very convenient. Comfortable beds and reasonably soundproof. The staff were so helpful and very friendly!

The hotels website seemed to advertise they do dinner, but on arrival we were told they only do breakfast. This was disappointing, as I had looked it up on their website beforehand. It wouldn't howevee prevent me from staying there again in future, the service was otherwise excellent.
