Nice old building in convenient location near the M1, but far enough away not to hear it. Quiet rooms at the back, only a bit of train noise. very comfy beds and spacious room with good size en suite. Great value for money with or without breakfast and loads of parking. Friendly and efficient staff.

bathroom a bit tired (broken toilet seat etc). No heating in the room, but don't like it hot anyway. Breakfast was a bit limited - some items not available and no self service option.

Very comfortable beds , amazing value for money and the staff were brilliant and couldn’t of been more helpful! Went above and beyond to find us a fan for our room and lending us a charger for a portable fan I had brought but didn’t remember the USB charger for it! Which was very needed for a wedding we attended and being 26 weeks pregnant on a hots summers day they saved the day for me!

The window in the bathroom could do with a bit of frosting (even just a frosted sticker) or a blind just for privacy

The twin room and B&B was very good value. We stayed for a night to go to a wedding at Dodford Manor - it's only 5 mins by taxi. Nothing special about the room itself, it had all the necessary bits for one night. Very happy we stayed there. The pub downstairs is nice as well with lots of options and a beer garden.

The room was on the top floor and was pretty hot. Air con or a fan would have been nice; but I wasn't expecting this so no big deal.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Everything you would expect was provided. The bar area and restaurant was satisfactory although the carpet could do with replacing as rather grubby. Food was pub grub, tasty and filling and hot. As our visit was during the heatwave, the garden was a much needed bonus to eat/sit in and cool down.

Although my friends rooms were serviced , mine wasn't ( I was on a different floor). I only realised they had received this service on the way home, otherwise I would have mentioned it at the time. Also the outdoor furniture was very dirty, the tables needed a good scrub and some of the chairs were unsafe ....one actually cracked loudly and the leg bowed whilst I was sitting on it. Fortunately, no harm was caused.

A lovely building. Ours rooms were all different but great. Beds were comfortable and clean. The manager and his staff were excellent welcoming and chatty. Would stay again if in the area without a doubt. Food was excellent.

The whole place could do with a bit of a lift. Looks a little tired in places. Minor detail.

We arrived early to pay and park up to attend a wedding. A very helpful member of the team greeted us and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. He found out which room number we was, went and found housekeeping, and checked if it was ready. He gave clear details on breakfast and room location. Whilst...in the Middle of dealing with a burst pipe. What an asset to your company a true advocate of service superiority

I'm a large chap so shower door was a little tight Person in the next room smoking in the lobby ( the 2 rooms had a small lobby to the outside)

The room was very clean and large with good facilities. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful- even offered to help carry my bags.

The wifi was not great and cut off frequently which made it hard to work from the hotel. Breakfast was quick and tasty but no continental option.

This is an old building, full of character. Central to the lovely village. Popular restaurant with a good selection of 'pub grub' on the menu. Our room (room 2) was spacious and the bed was huge; 2 single beds linked together, and the TV was huge. Very large car park. Great place for a one night stop-over.

Everything was good; nothing to comment about.

We were at a wedding nearby, therefore the location was perfect. It is everything you'd expect from a pub room, comfortable and perfect for one night.

A lot of stairs to the room on the top floor The room only had one half roll of toilet paper in it when we checked in. We asked for some more at about 11pm before we went to bed and the staff basically told us we had to wait as they were too busy closing up the bar. I do understand they were busy but there was 4 members of staff and I am sure one could have taken a minute to grab a roll. Its a small thing and they did give us it later but its a bit embarrasing to have a conversation at the bar about whether or not they will give you more toilet roll.
