The location was perfect for us, very quiet and peaceful but only a short drive to all the places we wanted to visit. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect as we could just help ourselves to what we wanted. The host, Laura was very friendly without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome and at home.

The only fault we found was that one member of our group is elderly and has mobility difficulties. She found it tricky going across the gravel path with her walker, but was able to go across the grass instead for the most part. She also noted that although she had a ground floor room with an accessible bathroom, she couldn't use the bath as she isn't able to climb into it and there is no shower cubicle. Just something to note if you are travelling with anyone who has restricted mobility. That said, she loved everything else about the place and was very complimentary.

My partners really enjoyed the views our the window and out to a wooded type area. The building itself is a barn style building which we both loved. Being in a remote location it was quite quiet although easy to get back to the main village. There is also a restaurant nearby, but we didn't use that ourselves. The bed was really comfortable and we managed to sleep through until morning which is rare for a hotel or B&B.

The room itself was a little small as in the end of the bed could only let one of us past at a time. It's advertised as such but the breakfast is only a continental, it would have been nice to have some other choices, but it was totally acceptable on what was offered.

Lovely quiet and great location for visiting around the area. The help yourself breakfast was very good, toast, crumpets, cereal, muesli, yoghurts, bananas with a special extra treat of blackberries and cherries on our final breakfast morning. No porridge oats which I would have liked but not a problem at all as enough options. Comfortable and warm bedroom with enough storage for a weekend stay. Our host Laura was really helpful and kind. We will be back hopefully next year :)

There was a bit of an animal smell in the sofa area but everywhere else was good. The accessible room had a shower over bath which may be difficult to get into if disabled. Everything else was very good.

Really like the effort made to accommodate our one year old. Providing books to read, asking to help bring in our luggage and moving our room around for a travel cot to fit.

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our rooms - Laura was very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. Property is in a great location down a quiet country lane within an easy walk to two good restaurants. Beds were comfortable and facilities great - the breakfast was self service but this suited us fine as it was very relaxed - we chatted to Laura and just happened to mention that we like to have walnuts with our breakfast at home and the very next day she provided some- excellent thought really above and beyond our expectations - thank you so much for your thoughtfulness!

We liked everything about the stay and will definitely stay here again next time we visit the area - would thoroughly recommend it

We received a very warm, friendly welcome by Laura and her mum Annette. The property is located in a very quiet rural location and it was lovely to be able to sit outside as well. It is very well located for trips to Ely, Cambridge and St. Ives and Annette and Laura recommended some lovely walks. It is also very well situated if you don't want to take the car to go out for a meal. The first night we ate in a pub in Pidley which was only a 20 minute walk away through farm fields. The second night we just walked to the nearby Lakeside lodge, which is even closer. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and although we didn't use it as we sat outside it was nice that there is also a lounge downstairs which guests can use. The room was very comfortable and clean as well. We would definitely like to come back and stay here again to explore more of this area.

Breakfast was superb! Plenty of choice and very good selection to chose from the continental breakfast including cereals, toast, fruit, teas and coffees with fresh milk & orange juice to name but a few (value for money? Yes, certainly!) Lovely dining room which opened onto a patio area where you could have breakfast overlooking the beautiful and well maintained grounds.

That we were unable to stay any longer!

Friendly and attentive host, copious amount of information, relaxed home-from-home atmosphere, peaceful, good produce for breakfast, lovely location with plenty of country pubs within a short drive - would book again in a heartbeat but so many other beautiful places in the UK to explore 😁

Absolutely nothing to dislike!
