Clean room, comfortable bed, good shower. Nice breakfast. Good value for money.

Minor issue in the room was dealt with immediately,.thank you. Some quiet music in the breakfast room would make the breakfast experience better.

This Hotel is on the up, I have stayed here before and it was not good but now under New management and with a few little bits more being done, this will be again a very nice place to stay. The staff that runs it are very nice, the lady that booked me in was excellent, so polite and very welcoming. The hotel is a little bit away from the town, about a 10 minute walk but easy to find. Parking is so so but if you drive back towards the town around a 5 minute drive you will find a multi storey car park but payment is by card only.

Nothing really, it was a very nice stay. The hotel is over 3 floors but there is a lift, I did not try the food , so I can't help you there but if it was as nice as the staff, it would be great !!!!!!!!

We asked a couple of questions on booking the accommodation and received a response immediately which was great as we were on a tight schedule,they allowed us to check in early as we had to change our clothes and leave for an appointment asap ,my husband is coeliac and they confirmed that they had gf options, very pleased this morning at breakfast with the attention they gave regarding his breakfast letting him know how it was cooked etc so that he was confident in his choices.Our room was warm and comfortable,ample tea, coffee etc. It was nice to have 2 chairs in the room and shower gel and hand soap in the bathroom. We were more than happy with the hotel ,the staff were courteous and helpful and the price was great value I would be happy to return again.

Very friendly wellcome , great location , nice and clean , well maintained, staff couldn’t do enough for you to enjoy your stay , room cleaned daily and stocked up with tea , coffee ect ect , got a lift so no carrying heavy suitcase up stairs , if any problems arise they are sorted quickly with no fuss

I would like to have had option of eating dinner in the hotel with a small menu to choose from , but obviously out of season and the hotel wasn’t busy at all so I guess it would have been not worth opening the kitchen , there was a nice road 1 block away with nice restaurants but unfortunately I took my dog and she want allowed in restaurants so it would have been handy eating in hotel

Great location super value for money, room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating and breakfast nice, Good choice of cooked and also cereals and juices. I would definitely recommend staying here for value and proximity to beach and town.

Shower took a long time to run hot.. the cooked breakfast was fine although could have been better (scrambled eggs overcooked and sausage seemed deep fried although other bits nice and friends fried egg done perfectly). The decor was individually lovely and clearly freshly done but didn't seem to go together

Everything needed was provided. Nice room, well lit, shower was fine. Convenient to be able to park right outside (metered). Friendly staff.

Was surprised that breakfast here does not normally start at 8am. When I especially asked for this it was made available which I appreciated as I had to leave at 8.30. But I found it unusual and I think perhaps this should be clearly stated, otherwise anyone needing to make a fairly early start and assuming they will be able to have breakfast before leaving, risks being disappointed.

The location was excellent Breakfast was nice They let us leave our cases for the day before we travelled home The bed was very comfortable! Staff were polite and friendly Our room was new and looked very modern The bathroom was very clean

The property is being done up so a lot of the hotel is being worked on. A lot of the rooms are you walk up the stairs are all being ripped out and refurbished. This didn’t impact our stay whatsoever, nor was there any noise, but it was a bit of a surprise and looks half finished so it was just something to be aware of. Dont let this put you off, once it’s complete it’ll be gorgeous. The room door was a fob system and was quite temperamental

The hotel is ideally situated for the Congress Theatre and just one block away from the seafront. The room was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. The room was spacious and the bed large and comfortable. The WiFi worked well. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on catering.

The decor and furnishings were a bit dated but still in good repair and functional. However, the price was very reasonable and we felt it was good value for money.

Very clean. Most of staff were polite and friendly.

When we checked in, no help was offered with luggage despite the fact there was a flight of steps to lift and another flight to get to our room. I’m in my 70’s and really struggled. I fell and injured my hand. Lady on reception at check in was very sullen and unhelpful.

Value for money, Location is good in this value as beach, Eastbourne pier, town centre all approx. 10 min walk away. Breakfast was average but very satisfied as Halal options were available. Highly recommend for Muslims as mostly staff are Muslims so they understand very well needs and restrictions of Halal food. Staff was pleasant, specially Ajmal was exceptional.

Room walls and cattle could have more clean but bathroom was nice tidy up
