Very well appointed room (though towels only for 1 - though we did find extra ones in the wardrobe) Small bathroom - but adequate, and good showe

The dinner menu was limited and disappointing. I was tempted by the chicken with leek risotto - but put off by the idea of sauce made with chicken wings, and 'crispy chicken skin' garnish, so I opted for battered haddock. (not much choice!) However, the waiter, after all, brought the chicken! (He later apologised fore the mistake, and didn't charge for my main course). The leek risotto was very good, but the chicken was tough and tasteless. So we were not impressed by the restaurant for dinner - but to our surprise, breakfast was excellent - kippers, lightly scrambled eggs, good sausages!

didn't sleep very well as personally found room too hot and air con not low enough temperature. As light sleeper had to turn off anyway because of noise. Fire doors banging onfloor at early hours. Having said this I would still stay again because of all the other good points

The services available to guests is great. The location next to the river makes for a great walk. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The facilities are showing their age. The layout is a bit challenging to navigate at time. The parking is limited. If not eating in the onsite restaurant, other restaurants are a bit of a walk.

Great choice of options for breakfastand lovely setting. We sat in the conservatory overlooking the grounds. Attended for an event. Marius, staff, chef great and service excellent with great attention to detail.I Swimming pool lovely and grounds gorgeous.

At the event, one of the managers was unprofessional and rude. There was a well known DJ from radio station playing and at 1120 was told to stop the music despite the event having booked until midnight. There was also a live band which was not allowed to finish their set despite being paid for by the charity hosting the event.

Nice stay at the Lensbury for a couple of nights while visiting relatives in the area over Christmas. The room, a Deluxe Queen, was spacious, clean and well presented. Breakfast was good with all the usual items, as expected, with the additional provision of porridge, which, for me, was an added bonus as it is my cereal of choice. We were very well looked after and catered for in the restaurant by Kim, Balmeek and another young colleague, though I did not get his name. The three of them were attentive and promptly addressed our requests, which together with a hearty breakfast, made for an excellent start to our day.

A choice of pillows would have been welcome. I appreciate that it is a personal choice, but we found the pillows uncomfortable.

We know it well as we lived nearby and were members of the leisure club which guests at the hotel benefit from, so we swam and had saunas. We could have used the gym also. The staff are excellent. The location is superb. Rooms are spotless and good. Restaurant and bar far superior to any other hotel in the area at this price. Food was good and cheap deals in the evening during the week. Food and setting very good. The hotel set in extensive grounds by the Thames in a prestigious location. The extremely large and well designed bar area has a large screen if you wish to watch TV in a relaxed setting.

Room could be larger and TV small but the positives outweigh these considerations

Comfortable, clean, good facilities and a nice location and grounds. Staff at the coffee bar were excellent and so friendly. The breakfast choices are good and the view while eating it lovely.

The dinner and wine was poor especially for the cost. Spicy wings with a sweet source paired with a blue cheese dip was weird. The baked cod was nice until I discovered the curried sultanas which again just did not go. The wine was not good especially for the cost. Next time we will eat out. It was like pub food and good restaurant prices. Staff were generally friendly but some ignored or forgot things. The shower was rusty and partly detached. I had to ring reception after we booked 8 times before anyone answered.

I liked the proximity to Hampton Court House (wedding venue). Our room was quite small and stuffy compared to the rooms held by the rest of the bridal party. The buffet breakfast was unappetizing, we only had it once and decided against it. By contrast, the made to order lunch was fantastic, and everything tasted fresh and well balanced, unlike the lackluster breakfast buffet. The gym was clean and had everything I needed for a workout. I wanted to take a reformer class but didn’t have time during the short time we were there.

I thought the room came with slippers and a robe for us. Our room only had 1 pair of slippers and no robes.

The hotel and surrounding gounds are beautiful, the reception staff were polite amd helpful, we stayed in a clean, generously sized, well equipped room, that had a good sized bathroom too. The views from the restaurant area which overlook the grounds, are really nice and having breakfast there is a lovely way to start the day.

We couldn't open the windows for fresh air to the room... There is a remote controlled air conditioner inside the room, but it was very noisy and did disturb our sleep....we resorted to a slightly less noisy fan. That said, it would not stop us staying at the hotel again...but next visit, will take some earplugs :)

What a beautiful place! Love that it's stunning and peaceful, without being too stuffy and snobby. Staff were friendly without being overly attentive, the location was tranquil and perfect, loved the watersports, and the breakfast was yummy, with lots of veggie and vegan options. Our room overlooked the car park but was still quiet and spacious. You can borrow table tennis sets, basketballs etc. from the leisure centre.

Everything was great. If I had to choose something, it would be better vegan sausages (maybe the Richmond brand?) and bigger towels for the pool. Could do with better/brighter lighting in the bedroom.
