Room was really all that we needed, breakfast was great every day, and the location of the premises was good as it was central and we could go out walking and also take the buses or trains nearby if necessary, and the shopping centre was also in close proximity. We could not have asked for anything better, and the staff were very good with our enquiries, and very helpful.

Maybe they could have supplied some local newspapers or even some daily newspapers complimentary to the rooms, especially for the foreigners to keep in touch with the news, as sometimes our phones were not connected properly to the wifi and we missed out on the news, otherwise, all was good.

The staff were super helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. Arriving early on a flight from Australia was no problem to the wonderful staff who ensured I could get into the room early and have a well needed shower and rest. The breakfasts are good value for money and they do great coffee. I had a room on the ground floor looking out on the carpark - there was no noise or people walking past the window - this did limit my opening the window but did not distract from the comfort and experience of staying in this hotel.

The bed was really comfortable, one of the best I have experienced. The shower was great but did notice the water did not run away quick enough. I arrived mid-evening and because it was quiet in the restaurant it was closed early so had to go out for pizza. The Manager though was very kind and let me eat the pizza in the restaurant and even provided a free pint glass of orange and lemonade - thank you very much, it was appreciated after a long day at work with a Client.

The entry exit is a bit tight and difficult to get out on to the road as it is so close to a busy roundabout and zebra crossing.

The room was comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities are provided. There was a good selection of breakfast choices . Buffet bar with good selection cereals fruit nuts and pastries Followed by choice of porridge or cooked breakfasts. We stayed for 2 nights and had porridge once and cooked breakfast once. Dinner in restaurant was good on both evenings . Guests can ask for discount voucher for Sunday-Thursday evenings. Five minute walk over the river and you are into Kingston upon Thames town centre which has a good selection of department stores and shops

Great parking, excellent location, great selection of tea and coffee in the room, reasonable bathroom with excellent toilet paper and a strong shower, decent cooling in the room though we had to have it on all the time (ground floor, didn't feel safe leaving window open for ventilation), nice friendly staff and an adequate breakfast which just lacked fresh fruit.

Poor lighting in the room especially for reading instructions and really bad for those with impaired sight. Don't like shower-over-bath, can be quite dangerous for older or less agile people, and this one had leaky screens.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was fabulous. Carpark was helpful as we had a hire car. History of property was interesting. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. We had Anne Boleyn suite. Bathroom was large with a bath as well as spacious shower. Bathroom amenities ie shampoo, bodywash plus usual amenities of coffee, tea, etc. Bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to Bushy Park, which was our destination sentimentally. Looked like various restaurants etc were also close but we didn't use any. I'd definitely stay here again when next in London.

What a lovely relaxing place to stay. Easy to find after a tiring day out at Hampton Court Palace. The staff were lovely and so helpful. The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We had a tasty evening meal and the breakfast was also excellent. We also enjoyed walking along the Thames which was very close to the hotel. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

The only problem we had was that late at night our air conditioning stopped working. We still had the fan function and were able to open a window which did help. Thankfully it was a quiet area so we managed to have a warm but restful night.

There wasn’t really anything to dislike! The beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean, great parking availability, central for where we wanted to be, the evening meal was excellent as was the breakfasts, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. If anything I prefer biscuits in the room rather than chocolates but that’s a personal preference. I really can’t think of anything else that could have been improved!

Staff were very helpful when I thought we would need a ground floor room and were always responsive. In the end it wasn't necessary so I let them know and they upgraded our room which was roomy and well equipped. Even ice was available in the hallway! Long life milk in the fridge meant was welcome for making tea.

Nothing to criticise about the stay. We had dinner there though and we had to wait a long time for the food. The roast that my partner had was disappointing- probably not a good idea to choose that in the evening, as the potatoes were hard but the chicken itself was nicely done.

Great, friendly, can-do reception staff, ease of parking and well-lit car park. My room had everything I could want, lovely shower room, good coffee, a fan if needed and windows that open. Even in one of the busiest areas of Kingston, and on a roundabout, I didn’t find it noisy. Décor was pleasant, and there was well-written, useful information about the hotel meals, times, services etc., which was refreshing (ie I didn’t have to sort out an App, and peer at my phone). Also, there is a 10 per cent discount on food and drink for guests.

Pillows were hard but reception told me afterwards I could have asked for softer ones. And no biscuits to be found!
