The hotel is a little gem, beautifully clean and tidy, so well appointed to places like Bushy Gardens and Hampton Court. It's a short walk to different pubs and restaurants, if you dont feel like just staying in the hotel, and has easy access to central London or bus ride into Kingston town centre. However, the making if this hotel is its staff. They are wonderful and so welcoming, from the Chefs to the receptionist. A special shout out though for Diane. She is an amazing individual and what an asset to this hotel supplying local information, suggestions for trips and going over and above to ensure our stay was special. Thank you all, you made our break perfect.

Only thing I'd suggest for this hotel is a couple of big comfy chairs, seats or snug area for the guests to sit in. Otherwise it's perfect

Beautiful historic building and rooms are finished to a high spec. You are provided with a mini bar with a choice of chilled alcohol options along with some red wine (not in fridge) options which were very tasty. Tea and coffee making essentials provided also along with a nesspesso coffee machine and a small range of coffee options & tea. The room was quite small and it was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. Also it is a 10min walk to Hampton Court Palace entrance, from the back of the property you can actually see the maze of Hampton Court and also it is close to Bushy Park. Perfect location for this beautiful hotel.

I had a lovely restful evening and enjoyed staying there. I would stay again however I would request not to be located next to the cleaning team office on the 1st floor as they were very inconsiderate of the fact that there were guests in the hotel whom do not wish to be woken at 6am with their noise and loud talking. There was loads of commotion, banging, talking loudly and noise. When I stay in a hotel I wish to relax and the next morning was not relaxing at all.

Located directly opposite beautiful Bushy Park, the Kings Arms Hotel is the perfect place to stay for those wanting to participate in the iconic home of the first Parkrun. At least 10 other people in 2 other groups had the same idea as us. It is also very conveniently located to visit Hampton Court Palace (you can see the maze from one of the stairwell windows) with the main visitors’ entrance just a short stroll around the corner. We stayed in the Hampton Suite which suited our family of 4 very well. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom spacious; just wish we had a longer stay so could have enjoyed the big bathtub. Included in our price was a fabulous breakfast; this included a cold selection of yogurt, cereals, bread, croissants and juice plus a choice of a hot breakfast. We had 2 full English, an eggs benedict with added sausage and an eggs royale which were all delicious and set us up for the day. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our bags post check-out. There is very limited free parking (4 spots) outside the hotel and we were not lucky enough to get one but street parking is free from 6pm to 8:30am and there is free parking inside Bushy Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for attending function at Hampton court. They had notified us about limited parking but we were fortunate to have a space. Beautiful old building, room was modern with very tasteful decor. Room 9 on upper floor , site photos accurate. No lift but fine for us. Very hot whilst we were there but decent fan provided. Slept with window open, surprisingly very little noise. Great breakfast cooked to order, very impressed. Small stocked fridge complementary reusable bottles of water, happy to provide ice. Very friendly helpful staff. Would recommend

Historic, attractive property which has been modernised to a high standard. A stones throw from Hampton Court and a few minutes walk to the bridge, train station and local restaurants. Comfortable bed in a cosy room with nicely designed bathroom and great shower. We had a lovely breakfast and the staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful. This place met our needs perfectly and would definitely return when in the area.

Our particular room was pretty small and tight to manoeuvre around the bed area, not helped by an awkwardly positioned radiator valve! There was a space for a fridge in the room but it had been removed. It would be great if this could be reinstalled so guests could benefit from chilled water / drinks.

The location was perfect, a short walk from Hampton Court Palace main entrance and opposite the Bushy Park gates. We knew the crash pad room would be small ( the only room available) but it more than exceeded our expectations. It was newly modernised, perfectly designed to maximise space and more than adequate for a short stay. We even had a Dyson fan to keep us cool on a warm night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even bringing us fresh fruit to our room. The dining room was modern and the breakfast excellent, food hot and freshly cooked with good choice. We really couldn’t have asked for any more. Many thanks.

Excellent location. Chose it as we attending an evening event at Hampton court. Very lucky and got a parking space at the hotel. We could then walk round to the palace. Arrived early and enjoyed lunch in the bar,good quality food well prepared and good value. Room was ready for an early check in, very helpful young lady on the desk who escorted us to our room. Room was large and clean. Excellent breakfast good choice and served in a timely way. Lots of shelf space in bathroom Lovely full length bedroom mirror

The hanging rail was more than ample for a short stay but a higher hook would have been great for hanging a full length dress on. A make up mirror by the desk would have been useful.

The staff were amazing. Nothing too much trouble. They were all very friendly but not in your face. I’m a vegan and they offered lots of options for me. Even made me a special hot chocolate as their chocolate powder has whey in it. All very friendly and very efficient if there was a problem. I had trouble with the coffee machine in the room. John was up straight away to help. The location was perfect. Unfortunately Hampton court was shut. But Bushy park was amazing.

It’s not that I didn’t like but it would have been nice to have two chairs in our room. There was only one.

If I could give a higher review I would! Such a great hotel! Location is spot on for a relaxing stay either because you’re flying out of Heathrow or just in the area for the beautiful walks along the water. The hotel staff are above and beyond — everyone was welcoming and full of advice for walks or things to do in the area! Cally even went so far as to make me a lovely breakfast box because I had an early flight. The bed was lovely. The shower fantastic and the coffee/tea was so nice! There were robes, a fan, hairdryer, safe… just everything to make the stay relaxing.
