The location was perfect for a Wedding which was at Hampton Court House just a few minutes walk away. Also great for train link into London (40 minutes) and a lovely area of shops and restaurants not to mention Hampton Court Palace. Our bedroom was large and looked towards the front of the building towards Bushy Park. The window soundproofing is excellent. The temperature in the room was spot on and a Dyson fan was provided if required. The shower room was perfectly adequate. Lovely period features but also very modern. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily to a very high standard. Tea and coffee making facilities with the added bonus of fresh milk were provided and replenished daily. A very well stocked mini bar is in the room. Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning. All the staff were very friendly and professional. We were lucky to get a car parking space right outside which did not cost us anything.

Not really a dislike but more a recommendation......more clothes hanging space and drawers would have been nice as we were here for 4 nights.

Hotel is in an excellent location for Hampton Court Palace (our room overlooked the maze). Also 5 min walk from train station. It is a fairly small hotel and that helped create a family feel about the place. Decoration throughout is fairly neutral but gives the hotel a fresh feel. Very clean throughout. Meals were very good and there was an excellent choice at breakfast with the added bonus that portions are huge...well done to kitchen staff because they never get a mention. Without doubt, the staff are the hotel's biggest asset as everyone was so friendly and very helpful. A special thanks to the ubiquitous Callie and also John. I'm afraid I have forgotten a couple of other names so please, if you are a member of staff reading this review, just know that we were impressed and grateful to have received such lovely attention. Also good luck in your new job Edna, you were shaping up really well by the time we left! We loved staying here and will definitely stay again if in the area. I would also recommend popping in for a meal.

No air conditioning but there is a Dyson cool fan which helped on hot evenings. Rooms are small but it's an older building and we liked the cosiness.

This lovely little hotel exceeded all expectations. Don't let the age of the building or the plain facade fool you. Inside, is a lovely hotel with a staff who work hard to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Rahel and John at the front desk were exceptionally helpful, answering questions and making reservations. Cold breakfast was laid out well and full breakfast was made to order and served promptly with a smile. I apologise I did not ask the name of the woman who was always there in the morning. She makes great coffee. The rooms are not spacious, but they are large enough to relax and had recently updated. The room was impeccably clean and well appointed with wines, alcohol and mixers as well as fresh milk for your in-room Nespresso coffee maker. There were several choices of tea and a hot water pot. The windows have a noise-cancelling shield that can be raised along with the window, to let in fresh air. When both are closed, and the heavy drapes (as gorgeous as some tapestries) pulled closed, the road sounds are gone. My room (#10) had a beautiful view of the entrance to Bushy Park, and you could look into the maze from the stairway windows. If The palace would open 2 Lion Gate, the hotel would be about 30 steps from the palace gardens. Alas, we had to walk a few minutes along the garden walls to the main entrance or just a few more steps to the edge of the River Thames where you could hire boats to self-drive or relax and ride along the river. There are many restaurants within a short walk. If Hampton Court is on your desired travel list, I would highly recommend The King's Arms. We were three sisters traveling together and each one of us had a room we loved.

A few more hangers and a place to keep your luggage off the floor would be nice. When we arrived there was a very large and very noisy party going on. There were more than 20 teens/pre-teens dancing and running throughout the lobby entrance and restaurant. There was a DJ playing Taylor Swift music as loud as can be. After a long journey, we wanted to relax, and 1 sister had the room directly above the DJ. She was livid. We were assured the party would be finished early. Rahel made us a dinner reservation and when we returned to the hotel, the party had cleared out. It turned out to be the most quiet room she had during our 12-day tour around the UK.

Due to a flight cancellation, we were stuck in London for the night and arrived at The Kings Arms at around 10PM. Even though it was so late, the staff greeted us with smiles which put us right at ease. The chef also offered to make us dinner even though their kitchen was closed (the burger was delicious!). The chef even helped bring up our bags to our room. You could tell the staff all shared roles and were all so willing to help their guests. The rooms were extremely clean and were charming. They used quality fabric and didn’t skimp on bathroom products.

I loved everything!

Staff outstanding - very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Obviously recently refurbished to a high standard - especially bathrooms. Location superb for what we needed - a short walk to another venue opposite Hampton Court Palace. Very quiet despite location between the Palace (overlooking the maze) and a busy road. Food unfussy but very good - both at dinner and breakfast. Extra note - it was very hot during our stay but room was cool and we had an excellent (Dyson) fan, so no problem sleeping.

Parking is very limited but the hotel makes no secret of this and we were lucky enough to get a space in front of the hotel. Outside space for eating/drinking is excellent but furniture was a bit basic - maybe an upgrade if affordable?

We travelled down from East Yorkshire for my wife's birthday weekend. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we managed to get parked directly outside which was great as parking is limited . Our room was ready even though we arrived 2 hours early. The lovely young lady on reception showed us to our room and fully explained everything that we needed to know. And the food, wow, the Six restaurants a la carte menu is some of the best food we've ever tasted. They brought out a sweet little birthday treat for my wife at the end which was a lovely touch. We would go back there in a heartbeat. We had a lovely cooked breakfast and finished the weekend off with a lovely day at Hampton Court Palace. We would give it 11 out of 10 if that was possible. We will go back to work on Monday with a big smile on our faces 🥰 .

I chose to stay at the Kings Arms because I needed to meet friends in London and attend a conference held near the hotel. The public transport options were excellent, including taking a bus to Heathrow. The breakfast was excellent giving me a great start to my day. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and my room was safe, warm and stylishly comfortable. I would have had to pay more than double for these amenities in Central London and wouldn't have had the park to walk in.

They had some cable tv connection issues that they addressed promptly. The hallway door into the stairwell makes noise when people come and go at night.

We loved everything about the hotel. Super friendly staff. Really helpful in so many ways including sorting parking for us. The rooms were gorgeous, really comfy beds. Lots of little touches, great coffee machines in the rooms and lovely range of tea bags. Toiletries were excellent too. Bar area was lovely and the coffee fantastic at breakfast. Honestly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in and such good value for money. Thank you Rahel and Teo for seeing us off this morning!

From the moment of check we were made so welcome by the staff. The room is better than the photographs on here. Very comfortable bed and lovely view towards Hampton Court Palace. The staff were amazing, every one of them. At the end of their shift, they invited us to sit with them and just seeing how much they all got on and the atmosphere they created was great to see. Thank you to the team. The food was lovely and the breakfast the next day was perfect. They allowed us to leave our luggage after we checked out so we could enjoy the day and we came back for it later. Absolutely lovely stay and we felt as though we had been on holiday even though it was just a one night booking.

Nothing it was all fantastic.

A really good breakfast; choice of continental options or full English or English Vegetarian. The location is great for walking to local eateries and Hampton Court Palace is literally in the backyard of this hotel; you can look out the back window into the palace maze! The hotel sits right next to two bus stops that will take you all over the area. We took the bus to Kew Gardens and to the Airport without any trouble at all. The staff are very nice and helpful here and the rooms are clean and well cared for, albeit quite small.

More places to lay out my luggage inside the room. Wish the restaurant had something other than high dollar gourmet faire.
