Great location. Close to station and right on the river. Lovely apartments and great public areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed, air-con, lovely bathroom.

The 'cosy' room was certainly that, some might call it tiny! Coombed ceilings were a challenge (and we're tiny ourselves!) The bar was gorgeous but very expensive (London prices I guess, even worse than Edinburgh 😁). The room has a mini bar, but no price list (that I could find), so a bit scared to try anything!!

I will start by saying that you must try the sparkling afternoon tea at Bingham Riverhouse. It was one of the best I’ve tried in England, and they were very generous with the serving of clotted cream and sparkling wine. I spent hours there accompanied by their collection of vintage books. I was also a guest at the hotel for 3 nights. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. It was awesome being so close to the river, and to have Richmond Park just a short walk away. The bus stop from which you may take a bus to Kew Gardens is also right outside the hotel. The staff at reception were also extremely helpful! A special shout-out to Karl - thank you so much for helping me with my package delivery! For anyone looking at a relaxing and comfortable stay in London, look no further than Bingham Riverhouse!

Fantastic location, on the river path and a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants in Richmond. 12 min walk to Kew Gardens. Good train and tube access. Beautifully decorated hotel. Room pristine and stylish. Bathroom very clean with complimentary robes and slippers. Effective air con which we were grateful for! Well stocked mini bar and coffee machine. Friendly, smiley, helpful staff.

Very few negatives - hand basin really small and very little space for own toiletries in bathroom. We were on the top floor which was fine for us but not for anyone with mobility issues as no lift (understandably as it’s an old mansion house).

Location was fantastic - right by the river and close to the centre of Richmond with all its shops and restaurants, and an easy walk to Kew gardens. There's also a lovely walk along the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. I paid for parking which was well worth doing. My space was ready and labelled with my name. I was able to use the space after check-out until 3pm which was very useful. I thought the price paid was excellent value given the location and standard of the hotel. We will definitely return.

Lighting in the bedroom was very dim. Lighting in bathroom was excellent though. I couldn't find a hairdryer but luckily had brought my own. There was no milk for the tea/coffee. The coffee machine was good but some instant coffee sachets in addition would be a good idea. The bedroom was quite stuffy - it was difficult to see how to open the window due to the poor lighting, so will open it during daylight next time! Only small niggles, nothing to ruin our stay!

Very friendly and welcoming. The drawing room for lunch was gorgeous. The staff were so helpful. They also ensured the room was ready before bed time. Also they let us leave bags befire check in and after check out so we could see the area around the hotel. Great place right on the river. It was such a wonderful experience.

When we arrived at our room there were staff in the very small corridor outside the room and it felt a little imposing for myself and my partner. That was the only issue.

Lovely property and garden in a stunning location by the river. I arrived hot, tired and burnt out. Left 24 hours later feeling like a new woman after luxuriating in the huge shower and getting a great night’s sleep in the comfortable bed. Aircon is quiet and efficient. Windows are sound proofed, bath products are first rate. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river and worked from there all day. Staff are a joy. Absolute perfection. Debating membership.

There’s nothing to dislike.

The room was well planned and had all the amenaties required for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and had a warm welcome when ever you came into the recetion.

I would advice that less mobile customers check Where there room is, as there is no lift to Cosy Rooms at the top of the biilding.

The location is excellent and the views gorgeous. Our bedroom was spacious and very tastefully decorated. In particular, the mattress of the bed gets a special mention for being so comfortable.

*** The access - not just to our bedroom, which was on a lower ground floor level, but access to upper floors with no lifts at all. Some of tge stairs are rickety an and dangerous and not good for guests such as myself with impaired mobility. This really needs to be flagged up on the website.

Wow. Where to start? What a beautiful boutique hotel on the riverside! Gorgeous decor, beautiful garden and bar and the rooms were super comfy with lots of thoughtful little touches. I booked a double and was worried it would be too small but it was spacious and even had a little balcony so we could open the doors and look out over the river The staff were so lovely too and very personable. I can’t wait to return :)

Everything was perfect.

The interior design of the property was excellent, the balcony terrace and gardens areas with views over the river were brilliant

The lack of a lift for the upper guest rooms. Rooms to the road elevation are lacking natural light and suffer from the road noise despite the secondary glazing. The sound acoustic between guest rooms was a little poor, could hear conversations and snoring from adjacent guest room.
