The hotel is well presented. The feel of coziness gets you as soon as you step in. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, i give them top marks. Our room was cleaned as we were at dinner and that is something i have not seen before. Well done Cave Hotel

The website says that they offer spa facilities with treatments and massages. I was disappointed to hear that the Hotel runs this through a different person who is not based on site. We were given a number to call but the person never picked up. For a hotel with that standard, the responsibility should be on them to ensure that their guests requirements are met. Considering the price of a room per night, It's not fair to leave the burden on the guest to chase a service which is advertised as part of the hotel's package. It takes away the relaxation one was looking forward to. The spa section is small as well. You will be lucky to get a sun lounger to relax on .

The staff were absolutely lovely, made sure we were satisfied with our stay. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the best bed I’ve ever slept in! The room we stayed in was the bridal suite it was by far the best hotel me and my girlfriend have been to! The food was great and balcony and view was amazing. Loved the smart tv as there was Netflix and Apple TV. Best stay ever would definitely come again.

If you are contemplating booking here for a romantic getaway; do not hesitate. We were blown away by how beautiful The Cave is. I am an interior designer and my husband works in the building industry. The food in the Firepit was outstanding and the service was brilliant. There were cocktails and balloons in our room on arrival for my husbands birthday and chocolates from house keeping whilst we were at dinner. Outside was gorgeous and so modern. All the staff were attentive and helpful. We cannot wait to go back!

Personal preference but I prefer a harder mattress.. it wasn’t uncomfortable.. just a very soft mattress.

Breakfast was lovely. Very happy with the room. Carpets very stained and view from ground floor not great and a lot of noise from golfers in the morning and lack of privacy.

Loyalty rewards would be nice for regular visitors. It would be nice to have the option of a firmer or memory foam mattress for those who suffer with back issues. We ordered drinks blind to the room as no drinks list for room service which is weird considering the food menus are listed in the room. Drinks delivered to room are different to those ordered at the bar which is also weird. I can order a red Berry cider at the bar but I can't have that same drink delivered to the room.

The room was spacious and well presented. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. The Korean cowgirl restaurant was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Our fireplace didn't work and they sent someone to fix it immediately.

The car park was very busy, after driving around a few times, we had to park at the back. We were told to park in "hotel guest" parking which was full. A gentleman in reception said "oh it's quiet when all the golfers go home". I feel at the price of the hotel, a secured spot near the entrance would have been preferable- separate to the golf. The pool was average, relatively small. Was enjoying ourselves until we saw that someone had picked both their eyelashes and nails off and left them on pool side- grim. A little more attention to detail in the room as we found a half eaten biscuit under our table and stains on the bath robes. Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay, but it's acceptable to be fussy when you're paying as much as you are.

Something we really felt was very special about the hotel was that it felt very exclusive and private for us as a couple! We really enjoyed our nighttime swim and hot tub lounging (the receptionist even said he could let us know when it was quiet for us!), how intimate the atmosphere was, and even during our cocktails and dinner in the evening at the Korean Cowgirl, it still felt very peaceful for us at our table even though it was busy! We enjoyed the views from our room and balcony, watching both the golf in the sun and listening to the birds. The room was beautifully decorated and the supplies in the room were fantastic! The bed was unbelievably comfortable!!! Literally, everyone on the team during our night's stays and morning checkout were amazing

There was nothing that we didn't like at the hotel, everything was perfect for us! 10/10 perfection all around!

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Food in both the restaurant and the breakfast in the morning was so good and reasonably priced. The massage from Sarah and her colleague as well was amazing and they were super attentive.

Our room could have been better. The floors were slightly damp and the bathroom floor and towels were wet. We got given a disabled room for some reason and we didn’t have any “normal” things you would find in a regular hotel room. We were right next to reception which did get a bit nosey. The spa was also a bit of a mess. The water was everywhere on the floor and 2 other couples were in there which made it feel packed and uncomfortable as it’s quite small.

Pool and room were out of this world , the staff were very attentive to our needs, customer care was 10/10, general decor of hotel was lovely. The grounds were amazing! We got so much rest. Beautiful couples get away.

The gym-it was way too small and had limited equipment, the gym let's the hotel down big time! (especially if you intend to work out) And the jacuzzi wasn't working when we were there on one of the days which was a bit disappointing considering how much it cost to stay at the hotel. But the spa area was really gorgeous, fortunately I was able to have a little swim.

The room ( bridal suite ) was amazing for mine and my husband’s 20th Wedding Anniversary! A huge room with walk in rainfall shower, a basin each and a huge round bath in the actual bedroom! Massive bed with massive TV with all the apps, beautiful mood lighting and beautiful fire which looks so real and very romantic! Lovely view overlooking the golf course which you can admire from the room’s massive wrap around balcony! Fantastic food day and night with a lovely choice and very tasty breakfast which we had in our room via room service! Just an Absolutely Amazing treat for our 2 nights in The Hotel, and will definitely be going back!

It was very pricey to stay at The Hotel so wish this was cheaper!

Everything was amazing! Room was fantastic and had an amazing view, bed was comfy, shower/bathroom was amazing Pool was great, nice and warm + drinks service. Food was sooo good, I'd happily travel all that way just for the food, the burger and wings at the Korean Cowgirl was super nice and the whole food/experience at the Firepit was simply amazing.

The breakfast wasn't that great. It had potatoes, beans, bacon, sausages etc but was more like a Texas theme, however a normal English breakfast would've been better or an American breakfast.
