Very well kept and clean, in good repair. The room was spacious and clean, and had a fridge which was really useful. Bathroom was clean and spacious and the shower was really good, nice and powerful. Gardens we’re very well kept and looked lovely in their autumn colours. The staff were excellent- well turned out, very friendly, polite and efficient and the right level of attentive. Breakfast was a good selection, well cooked and nice and hot.

We didn’t get much of a ‘tour room is here, breakfast is here’ when we checked in- It is a large property and it would be easy to get lost, there wasn’t even a ‘building layout’ diagram for fire exits. If I’m being reeeeaally picky- you could see where the bath panel had been taken off and re-sealed using gaffer tape. It had been well done, but even so.

I liked the plentiful parking and that the spaces were realistic for modern vehicle sizes. The staff - reception and restaurant- were bright and welcoming. My room was spacious and very comfortable. It was quiet and I slept well. Dinner was ok, but the mushy peas were more like a sauce. Breakfast was great! Overall an enjoyable stay. I'd definitely book in to this hotel if I visited the area again.

Dust along the base of the bed; the bath tap wouldn't turn on, so the bath was out of use to me. Also, it was difficult, at times to turn the shower taps, and to stop the shower dripping.

Liked everything. Buzzy place. Extremely comfortable. Room was chilly on arrival but the heating soon changed that. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Sheets were clean and comfortable too. Bath great. Stayed just the one night as dined out locally for a friend’s birthday. Happily stay here again. Breakfast very nice with lots of choice. Staff pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Bonus of a complimentary drink of your choice if made a booking via Booking.com. Receptionist failed to advise us of this on arrival, so enjoyed Bellinis with breakfast.

Possibly a tad dated in the communal areas.

Good location. The hotel lobby, dining area/bar area/breakfast area were all very comfortable and tastefully done and all of my interactions with the staff were courteous, polite and professional. As for my room (Exec Double); it was well decorated with nice furniture, and was of a good size. The bathroom was also sizeable with a large walk-in shower. The bed was just firm enough for me… not too soft and not too hard, also with soft, puffy pillow. The room has a fridge, tea/coffe making facilities, with iron/ironing board, TV with a good choice of channels. With regards to the location, one is within a 3-5 minute drive into town, if that. Other locations within a short driving distance, are Chalfont St. Peter, Amersham, Beaconsfield. Access to major motorway networks such as M40, M25, M4. From Gerrards Cross train station, it is 20 mins into Marylebone on the straight through/fast service. Lots of places to walk in the surrounding area. Within 30 minutes one can be in Windsor, but I’d suggest taking the road route through Stoke Poges and through Slough, thus avoiding M25/M4 traffic. All-in-all, the Bull is a nice hotel indeed.

Felt like new furnishings, exceptionally clean! We had a really comfortable stay.

The first room I was given faced a wall and car park, but they were happy to change when I asked for other availability. It does slightly beg the question why I wasn’t given the other room first as my reservation with bookings.com included an executive room with garden view. Probably just a simple error, but am pleased they didn’t grumble when I asked to change and helpfully checked to make sure I was happy with the new room which I was. I really liked that.

Nice gardens , attentive staff , clean room . Greeted nicely at reception .

Small annoyance as only one biscuit tea tray, and only enough cofee for one mug each . Food/ drink menus were incorrect. One said 6.50 glass of wine and the other menu as we were given one each said 7.50. When I ordered at the bar I had not realised this as was charged 7.5o. When I called the manager politely to my table he did apologise and I saw him checking all the other menus. That was the right course of action. He also thanked me when he walked past.

The room was very well equipped, a highlight for us being tea/coffee making equipment. The room was quiet ensuring that we had a good nights sleep following a long drive from NE England. We had lunch with friends from London. The quality of the food and the service was very good. Breakfast offered a wide choice of good quality food. The location was excellent for our onward journey to Oxfordshire.

The shower water was not as hot as we would have liked.

Breakfast was fab, would have been brilliant getting the train to London (but rail strikes 😟) managed with a taxi and tube. Room was quiet even with a function on.l, no noise disruption. Car charging was easy and available. Bathroom was modern and clean and toiletries were lushious, great smelling! Would recommend and return.

Struggled with the pillows, slightly softer option would have been good, however I struggle with pillow comfort in general so could just be me...

Breakfast was really good and started early enough for people who need to leave fairly early in the morning. The room was a good size and very comfortable.

It would have been good if we had been able to check in earlier than 3, even if we had not been able to gain entry to the room, but able to check in - it would have been helpful. It's a shame there isn't any gym facilities.

Attentive staff, relaxing comfortable seating in lounge area, parking very good. Lovely terrace and gardens. Bathroom excellent and room well appointed.

View from Executive Room not the best, plus windowsills were filthy. Breakfast room was far too hot, no doors open and use of terrace on a sunny day would have been very nice. Also orange juice was tasteless from a machine. Needs blinds in the conservatory.
