Lovely hotel, lovely staff, VERY SEXY place to stay if you want private, sexy and great sex. The hotel sets the mood, my Mrs didn't want to leave, she got dressed up, we got mucky and it was GREAT. Yes, the hotel isn't perfect, there are a few things, like a few broken blind slats, amd a crack in the toilet (didn't effect us) I personally think that if you think.your going to get RITZ PLAZA NEW YORK, for around ÂŁ100 a night, with that level of "BUJEE" then people are dillusional.... OK IF you got the dough, then spend ÂŁ1000 a night in a overpriced hotel. We loved it, Staff were EXCELLENT (Which I find that difficult people get zero respect from anyone...) For a sexy night away......GO FOR IT.....WE WILL BE GOING BACK FOR 2 NIGHTS NEXT TIME.

the wife liked the look and feel of the place, very ostentatious and over the top!
we have never been rushed through a meal like we were on Monday night. We were just finishing a course and the other was turning up. I made a point that it was to quick but it kept on coming. Also we were not the only ones in restaurant and people were behind us on courses so they weren’t looking to close the kitchen. Also, to pay circa £325 per night for the room and then being told the continental breakfast is included but anything hot is charged is absolutely daylight robbery! my advice to anyone, stay somewhere else and go there for a drink and soak up the atmosphere. Beconsfield Is a gorgeous place with some superb restaurants, the Greyhound being one. Stay in Beconsfield and go to the crazy bear for cocktails.

I thought I was booking a room but it turned out to be like a little apartment the kitchen wasn't usable but I didn't go there to cook anyway, haha, the bonus space was a lovely suprise. The room was massive! Decor is gorgeous! I ended up getting engaged during my stay which was incredible in itself but the staff were incredible with helping my now fiance plan the big moment THEY ALL had a fantastic poker face as I was genuinely clueless! Each member of staff really made our stay special and made me feel special ❤️
Nothing to shout about just personal preference. The bed was lovely and so comfortable but the Pillows were to soft for me 🤣. Small imperfections although they didn't affect our stay, wonky toilet seat, had to fiddle with shower to make it stay on the right shower head, my eyesight is horrendous and the rooms are quite dim. I loved as it added to the atmosphere but it would of be handy to have the option of a brighter light.

Brilliant room, excellent team! Very nice food in the Thai restaurant, nice cocktails.tasty breakfast with good selection!
Service charge doesn't go directly to the team, as we heard " they get something of it" so we tipped on top of it as it's not fair! Swimming pool is outside so too cold to use which is not advertised properly.also surrounded by tables for drinks so if you wish to swim you will feel like an animal in zoo, watched by people enjoying drinks.looks really nice but everyone who came in a dressing gown and realised how does it look like, left embarrassed to change.

The hotel and rooms have a very quirky feel. It was clean and just what we were looking for. The staff were friendly. The bar staff in the evening were chatty and smiley. The Thai restaurant was lovely, we had the 12 taster menu. Breakfast was perfect! The location has a nice feel, it's quiet and the locals appear friendly. Parking on the street is free with no restrictions too which is always a bonus! We will be returning for sure.
The only downside was that the pool wasn't available due to revamps, etc. The website did explain and staff explained upon arriving too. Of course it can't be helped. We will use it next time because we will be back.

Quirky and different to the norm, the rooms were great!
Service could be improved slightly. A couple of examples, we arrived half hour before check in, was happy to wait and that we would get a call when room was ready. The call didn’t come so we had to go back to reception to ask if room was ready, for the prices we paid we wanted to have the maximum amount of time at the property so felt we missed out slightly as we were sitting around longer than necessary. At breakfast, the wrong drinks were provided and condiments asked for did not materialise. Small things, but when paying a premium it can be frustrating.

I won't lie I did read a few negative reviews about the hotel so was a bit anxious about our pending stay. However, The Crazy Bear was unreal!! It was for my gorgeous partners 40th birthday and he was blown away as was I by the hotel and room. The staff were very polite and friendly. The food and cocktails were second to none. Absolutely delicious. The only disappointment was that the outdoor pool wasn't heated and the jacuzzi wasn't heated either. So couldn't enjoy these elements. I don't know if these are heated just in the summer months no one told us. But if this had been on and heated it would have made our over all stay exceptional. We can't wait to return one day.
The fact the outdoor pool and jacuzzi wasn't heated during time of stay.

Food in the English restaurant and the hotel itself was exceptional.
After being told everything was table service in the bar areas we were not once served drinks at the table, staff were not particularly attentive and even after waiting for someone to come to the table we had to go to the bar ourselves and were quite rudely spoken to about it being table service on one occasion, then waited another 15 minutes for drinks. Despite this was charged a ÂŁ4 service charge per order, including for drinks ordered whilst sitting in the restaurant.

I booked a nights stay for my partners 50th last night. I can honestly say it was fantastic from start to finish! The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. We booked a Decadent room and it was faultless, we were greeted by loads of rose petals on the bed! We ate in the English restaurant and ordered chateaubriand (compliments to the chef as it was cooked to perfection) and the wine waiter helped us choose the perfect wine! We ended the night having a few drinks in our lovely deep copper bath. This hotel is truly special and we can't wait to go back in the summer to hang out by the lovely pool. Some reviews have said the decor looks old and dated. We didn't think that at all, quite the opposite! Any flaws just add to the character of this beautiful building. It's definitely worth a visit.
The Weather - if it was warmer we would have defo sat round the pool! Shame it isn't heated, but it would still have been freezing getting in and out as its outside.
