The room was laid out well, super clean. The bed was really comfortable,so much so I wanted to find out the brand as it was more comfortable than my own at home. The location was incredible, it could not have been more central, close to train, buses.Within easy walking distance. Local restaurants from fast food to top of the range. I was surprised at the actual building as a young man I often visited it for work purposes when it housed the offices of the Anchor shipping line. It has kept its charm and is a great building in keeping with the lovely buildings in the heart of Glasgow.

Nothing, I was amazed at this wonderful place and will definitely use it as my base when in Glasgow again, I am Scottish and travel back regularly, I was unaware of the jewel until my last trip and have raved about it to friends ever since. From reception to cleaners all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Some of the big chains should take note.

Right in the heart of Glasgow, this beautiful building is in a perfect location regardless of whether your visit is for pleasure or work. Queen St station and Buchanan St subway are 2 minutes' walk; Glasgow Central less than 10 minutes. I had one of the one-bed apartments: it was spacious and well appointed. Huge windows and high ceilings amplify the sense of space. The bed was extremely comfortable. I was attending a virtual conference for work so space, comfort and quiet were important. Native Glasgow did not disappoint. The wifi was superb! I had no trouble across 5 days of zoom conferencing. The staff were very friendly and helpful: the vibe is warm and welcoming.

There was literally nothing to dislike!

Very well located in the centre and the staff were super friendly and very helpful for our stay. Staying there felt more like a little apartment than a hotel which was amazing you could definitely stay for a week or more, you have to use your key card a couple of times before your room which made us feel very secure. Very clean with lots of stuff in our room cutlery pots pans plates which is really nice if you want to have a night in.

The only thing is that the AC occasionally made a noise which was loud and kind of annoying in our room but apart from that it was an amazing time.

Fantastic location - especially when travelling to the airport early doors. Bus stop was right outside for the airport and you can do a contactless check out. Room was well equipped [although we didn’t use much of it]. Lovely touch of some caramel wafers on arrival an a huge big shower. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable.

Sadly the emergency green light lit up the room at night and there was a lot a of noise from what sounded like glass bins being emptied outside our room. If you’re a light sleeper it may be worth requesting a quieter room.

Well laid-out and large room with seating options, a kitchenette, and a great bathroom with a washer/dryer combo. Sparkling clean, wonderful linens, and well thought-out amenities for travelers. Kitchenette stocked with things we might want right away (juice, cold water, milk, oatmeal, coffee, tea). We loved that we had seating available besides the bed to watch television, read, or eat. The location was optimal for arriving/departing by train (less than 5 minutes from Glasgow Queen Street Station), many wonderful restaurants, and picking up a tour bus. Staff was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive; rather just let us know where and how to reach them in case we needed them.

There is nothing we didn't like - everything was great.

A very central location. Despite a very busy nightlife in front of and around the building, we felt very secure. The air conditioning felt fabulous after the very warm days and warm museums. The washing machine worked very well and even fully dried our clothes - not many do so.

We used the sofa-bed at night - and it was quite comfortable. But it basically tied up all of the comfortable seating in the apt. (The high stools at the counter were not comfortable for more than about 30 minutes. Needs a small comfortable chair or two, under the circumstances.

Location was good, only a short walk from the station. The staff were helpful letting us in a little earlier than normal. The room had a good size bed and TV, ample self catering equipment was free from street noise and had easy to use aircon. The adjoining restaurant The Anchor Line was amazing, the service was good but our food was amazing.

The reception was on the Ist floor and we had to use the intercom to get in. A lot of new quests seemed to struggle with this. Quite a few people were hanging around waiting to get in. Having to wait until 3pm after a long trip was a real pain. Might need to give their cleaners a hurry up.

Check-in was smooth- room was not ready, but they looked after the luggage until it was, allowing us to go and roam the area. Room was clean and represented what was advertised. Apartments were a block away from the Queen Street Train station. Apartment location was local to the main drag and events. Pub and restaurants next door were great!

We had problems figuring out how to use the combo washer and dryer. Assitance from reception did not solve the problem. Washing was easy but drying difficult resulting in us having to hang to dry.

Location was important to us for the weekend stay, 5 mins from Glasgow Queen st station. Shops ,restaurants and Blu Raddison where we were attending an event was all within walking distance. Staff were very friendly, cheery and chatty to us. Room was amazing nice wee touches in kitchen tea, coffee etc. Milk and water in fridge, bathroom toiletries were also available. We ran out of milk and teabags but was told just come back to reception and they kindly replenished for me. Daughter was very happy with shower and comfort of bed, plenty of storage for us both too. Also fantastic that we were able to drop off our luggage as we weren't able to check in until 3pm and as we were getting train back home later on sunday again our luggage was okay to stay at reception until we were ready to collect o route to train station.

Nothing to dislike at all

Great location, huge room/studio with plenty of light – and good curtains which blocked out most of it when we wanted to sleep. Staff were friendly and everything was clean. And we booked during a 50% off offer, so the price was great too!

I'm quite sensitive to sound when sleeping, and there was a generator a few floors below giving a (very) quiet hum all night. Didn't bother my partner, but I had to put my earplugs in to sleep. Wouldn't stop us returning, though, and won't be a problem for most people.
