Convenient location as travelling from Edinburgh to Troon for The Open. Room was nice and modern and felt like it had recently been refurbished. Very good shower and comfortable bed. Nice breakfast too.

There was a wedding at the hotel so not allowed to use the bar which only had a few people in it for such a large area. We weren’t made aware of the wedding when we booked. Had to use the restaurant which was also full of wedding party guests. Subsequently very few seats and took a long time to get a drink. Had we have know about the wedding and restrictions we probably would’ve booked elsewhere. Also the room was very warm and no aircon so had to keep window open and was woken at 7.30 by some guests leaving as room next to Carpark.

The evening meal was first class. Excellently cooked and presented. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bar staff were friendly and engaging.

The breakfast staff were efficient but at times unhelpful and one in particular should learn to smile and welcome guests at the start of the day. Perhaps she was having an off day. The check out was awkward. The lady was half concentrating on me whilst looking at her computer. Eye contact and a friendly good bye are surely essential. I was waiting to be told all was ok to go but, an assumption was made thatI should have known I could go. Very poor manners. However we enjoyed the comfort and good food.

Room was large and bathroom had bath and a shower above it. The room was on the ground floor - no stairs to climb. Good storage for luggage. Hairdryer, ironing board and iron and a small heater were all available in room to use. There was also a bath mat. Tea, coffe and hot chocolate available with kettle etc.

The bath side was very high and if you have arthritis is diificult to get into. Shower was a fixed head so you could not avoid getting your hair wet unless you had thought to bring a shower cap with you.

Everything was as it should be. Whoever does their customer service training should be on big bucks - they've nailed it. The more mature gentleman serving in the restaurant was exceptional 👌 all of the ladies were so lovely and accommodating - I popped down for coffee one night when the bar was shutting. The coffee machine was off, but the lady offered to make me a pot of instant cofffee instead which was actually lovely, and gave me a packet of crisps for free. Even the younger less experienced staff were making such an effort to engage, when it perhaps wasn't as natural for them. Just lovely all round. The food was beautifully presented, the taste was incredible and I'm probably a stone heavier because of those damned apple and strawberry 🍓 crumbles but feeling very fulfilled so what the hell guys 😀 What else, the interior, the bedrooms (well mine anyway) all lovely and very effective. A special shout out to the gentleman on reception when I was leaving who offered to take my bags to the car. When I said no thanks and started walking out the door, he shouted 'Wait! Have you had your breakfast?' As though he was a genuinely concerned family member. I explained I didn't have time. His response..... "NOo, that's not right, look you put your things in the car and bring it round, and I'll have a takeaway coffee ready for you because you need something." 🙃😊 That's what you call being looked after. Exceptional.

We stayed for friends wedding. The staff in the restaurant were so lovely and friendly and helpful. Receptionist was lovely and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable

Room was acceptable but not as clean as it could have been. The guttering outside our window was broken where it joins the roof and the water poured from it the entire time. If we were spending more time in the room or staying more than one night we would have asked for another room.

The location and landscaping was gorgeous with plenty of parking availability. The room was exceptional along with the room service menu choices.

I can a check in between 1300 and 1400 confirmed at no extra charge however the room wasn't ready until 1400 which was disappointing. Our room was about the back entrance and had a lovely view of the arbour area however it is also where guests went to smoke so when the window was open that's all I could smell.

Room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. I was very happy with the room, bathroom and failities within. The breakfast choices were fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the barman, who opened the bar for us to have a nightcap. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Radstone.

It was a bit cumbersome to have to take the whole tray out of the cupboard to switch the kettle on, as the tray was the connector for the cordless kettle and there was no socket within the cupboard. I would also suggest USB ports above the beside tables, for the phone charger mostly and the plug sockets on the dressing table are a bit close to the table top, so multi plugs/adaptors can't fit in the socket.

Staff so VERY friendly. The room was superb in every way . Decor was 5 star. Bed comfort 5 star. Shower - very very wonderful. Hotel interior very stylish indeed. Car parking very easy. Grounds incredibly well tended. Location perfect, 2 mins from motorway.

Just the packet sauces used with the food were a little bit of a let-down on the standard of everything else. Eg. Red wine jus and hollandaise.

Room was lovey especially the shower, was also nice and quiet, bed was very large and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. Would certainly recommend and would come again. We are already looking into some of your tribute nights with friends.

The only thing that we would have liked was early entry into our room which we were told wasn't possible as we were going to a wedding at 1pm and needed to change into our outfits. Having said that the receptionist did give us access into one of your meeting rooms so that we could change which was much appreciated.

It appeared to be fairly new .. last 5- 10 years. Everything was very fresh! I had a disabled room on the first floor and the bathroom was set up perfectly for anyone with disabilities. Very impressive. Staff all very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. I also had dinner and it too was very good😁
