the bed was extremely comfy and was actually too big for me and my partner, surprisingly we only took up half of the room but plenty of space to move and get comfortable. the view was gorgeous we were looking onto the pond and could see the koi from our window sadly we weren't able to get out to the garden though but i think that was just bad timing on our half when the doors where looked in the morning.

there wasn't anything I could complain about with the actual stay other that having to walk through the communal bar area, and it is definitely a cheaper choice to bring your own car if you are thinking of leaving the hotel a lot as me and my partner went our quite a lot in the 2 days we were there and racked up quite a bill on Ubers sadly.

Our room had everything we needed in it and was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was lovely and warm and we liked the modern shower. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and we had a very good full english breakfast which was very good. We didn't use the lounge room but thought the honesty system for drinks was a great idea and there was plenty of choice of drinks to have. We really liked the feel of the hotel and the decor and extra finishing touches. The restaurant area is lovely with a nice view of the lovely garden.

There was alot of slamming of doors at night and loud conversation. Although the hotel didn't appear to be full the rooms allocated seemed to all be together in our corner. Check out wasn't until 11am but a lady let herself into our room while we were packing to leave. This was about 10am and she didn't knock just opened the door.

Welcoming, warm, cosy, beautifully decorated, clean and tasteful with an honesty bar. Super friendly professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Fresh spacious room with wonderful bathroom and amazing shower. Parking on site, I had a king size bed which was very comfortable with nice fresh linen . You can book dinner and breakfast if required. Felt secure and safe as a solo female traveller.

Absolutely nothing. It was all perfect, in fact it was so good I phoned up later in the day and stayed another night .

Very clean, excellent reception and although the hotel does not look very welcoming from the outside, the garden at the rea of the property is beautiful. The honesty bar works well and served a very good breakfast. Rooms are spacious and the shower is good. We were upgraded to a king suite which was excellent. Beds very comfy and the whole place was very clean. Ample parking. Would recommend. Good pub a five minute walk away was a bonus

Outside looks a bit deserted but once in the building is no problem.

Unfortunately, we arrived late and had to leave early due to work committments, but we will definately return. The staff are very friendly, including Daniel (and the lady who called prior - sorry didn't take her name!). Beautiful relaxed garden. They have two hotels and unfortuantely we went to the wrong one (it was our fault), although we were pleasantly surprised by our hotel and our Four Poster Bed - highly recommend!

The restaurant area as well as the bar area are really beautiful! Staff members were exceptionally friendly and professional - especially the gentleman in the morning, whose name I unfortunately did not get. Fantastic interior design, very cosy The honest bar is great - you write down your drinks that you had. Great variety of drinks also! Whole building and gardens super beautiful!

The windows are a bit mouldy but the room was very clean otherwise

Just the right location for us, good facilities and quiet.

Slightly too few car parking spaces made for an issue if you were the last one back. Slight muddle at check in, could not initially find our booking and then when did find the printout, right there in front of them, tried to charge us for the rooms despite the fact I had prepaid and argued insisting that booking.com never does pre-payments - yeah right - I was getting quite angry by the time she realised her error. Then we had to preorder what we wanted for breakfast (fair enough) but they got the order wrong in the morning anyway so it was a waste of time!

I had upgraded to a "small double" which suited me perfectly, apart from the fact that there was no chair. The shower was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was served promptly and was delicious - I was offered more toast and tea. I arrived at 19.00 and, having had a good lunch, was hoping for a light snack. Unfortunately, I hadn't checked that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. However, the highly efficient Derek offered to make me some toast, which was delivered to my room and was much appreciated. There is a well-stocked "honesty bar" in the lounge and a delightful garden to enjoy in warmer weather.

Rooms just a tiny bit oppressive in being small and bare. Really would benefit from a few nice pictures on the wall and a shelf for kettle rather than the insubstantial little camping table. The rooms were beautifully decorated so deserve a bit of ‘finishing’. It would make all the difference and really brighten it up I think.

I stayed at the hotel while being cared for as an outpatient at Royal Surrey Hospital. The proprietor and staff were exceptionally considerate and kind which was very helpful during a rather difficult two days. I found the hotel to be comfortable, immaculate and welcoming. The lounge is attractive and comfortable and the dining room graceful. There is a new restaurant there with an enticing menu. I ate there on one evening and found the food to be of the highest standard and beautifully presented. There is a very attractive garden with a lovely feature pond which guests will be able to enjoy in the summer months. My room was very comfortable and the shower, state of the art. There is a well arranged car park at the front. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and cannot praise the team there highly enough. I would not hesitate to return if staying in the area again.

Hard to fault. It's perhaps worth noting that the hotel is off a busy road. However I was sleeping at the front and was not disturbed by road noise. Care is needed taking the turn off the road into the car park, as traffic is traveling at speed.
