Had a wonderful two night stay at the Marsham Arms. The room was spacious and warm. The bathroom had both a bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Whilst this trip round we didn't need a fridge, it was pleasant to see a fridge in the room. Good tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast set up was good. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked food. Only minor grumble was standard off the shelf sliced bread. Would have preferred locally produced bread. We had a meal whilst we stayed there. Our son and granddaughter live in Norwich. Food was good. Our daughter in law loved the burger that she had. Said it was one of the best she had eaten. We would stay there again whilst property hunting in the area.It was good that they are dog friendly at Marsham Arms. It's possible that we will be back early in the new year. I wasn't too well whilst staying there (nothing to do with the hotel, I hasten to add) and would have liked to try the Santa Paws ale.

Only the type of bread for toast at breakfast. Would have preferred locally made, not commercial sliced. So nothing much really.

Breakfast was great, nice quiet septate room for breakfast with helpful staff. Breakfast is pre-ordered the day before but cooked fresh shortly after you arrive to the dining room. Room was cozy but had everything you need for a short stay.

With the room being on smaller size it got quite warm, we opened both the windows but didn't make a great difference. As mentioned in other reviews the property does sit on quite a fast main road so there is quite a bit of traffic noise, we didn't find it much of an issue even with the windows open, there were also ear plugs provided.

Good sized, well-equipped rooms. Very nice to have a bath rather than just a shower. Breakfast was excellent and the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. The pub/restaurant was nicely laid out with different areas and the garden was lovely. Good position in that it was only a few minutes to the the park and ride into Norwich and about 35 minutes from the coast.

We did hear staff going up to the room in the roof above our bedroom, but it was not before 7.

Breakfast was good, but in my opinion as travelling for work like allot of others I saw in the accommodation earlier breakfasts would be better as 7.30 is too late for most and even though I was only traveling a short distance from the accommodation I was still not getting to my meeting on time due to late breakfasts

The bed wasn't the most comfortable as the mattress seems soft initially but the you sink into a hard base and I woke up with back ache each morning. Also the room felt a little cramped with me being Tall

I've stayed here several times and it is always a good stay. The food in the evening is very good and well priced. breakfast is freshly cooked and of good quality. overall this is a very good place to stay.

This isn't a complaint but the small doubles are small. It does clearly state they are small when you book, If you can afford one of the bigger doubles then they are worth the money. if i was being extra fussy I'd say there could be a bit more choice cereal wise for breakfast.

The room was spacious and with easy access to the garden and car park. Very helpful when travelling with two dogs. Service was always with smile. The food was good and freshly cooked to order. The Sunday Roast (beef) was truly excellent and the Dorset Apple Cake worth the extra calories. The most "extra mile" piece was the provision of a packed lunch in place of breakfast as I was out each morning before breakfast was served. This was offered the moment I said I would miss breakfast each day and I was very impressed by this level of service. My picnic was delivered to my dinner table and I was able to store it in my in-room fridge. A very enjoyable stay.

Everything was as expected. I have no comments.

As we have stayed before we knew what to expect, dinner was ok but I prefer plain veg not fancy, breakfast was ok to but you have to order the night before not to sure about that.

On the booking website it says the superior room has a fridge, this is not the case, when I asked the staff they told me they have taken all fridges out of rooms due to noise, fair enough. Also rooms could do with black out blinds as early morning light comes through the curtains.

Food was excellent. The chef is very good making the meals from fresh ingredients, and flexible adding or taking out things where possible. The fresh fish was especially good. Room was spacious ( we had a larger room)

We had noisy neighbours one evening, and the soundproofing was poor. The other nights were fine. The bathroom heated up OK with the fan heater on the wall so it was not cold when you were using it, but it did not keep its heat so the towels never dried after one use.

We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay, once with family members (total of eight) On both occasions the food was excellent. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dish.

I would have preferred to choose my breakfast items in the morning, rather than the day before, and have the chance to "mix and match" a bit more.

We were once again Welcomed by very polite, smart and professional staff. The bar area is a pleasant place to spend a while. Our room, although quite small, was clean and well supplied with drinks of all types , the bed was comfortable but there was no view, other than roofs of adjoining parts of the building. The breakfast as usual was very good with a great selection of all we needed. A very nice stay again. Thank you.

There was nothing that spoiled our stay.
