Our stay at at Brickfields farm was far better than our expectations, the food was delicious & reasonably priced, our room “Buttercup” was excellent as an assisted room & the location was really close to Pickering for our choices of location. The facility was extremely well laid out & planned, all the staff were very friendly & extremely helpful. We will be happy to return to Brickfield in the near future. Thanks for making our visit extremely comfortable. Parking was directly outside our room with an electric charging point close by on the car park for electricity charging for a small fee, which took car of going out to find one. A great help, thank you!
The court yard was rather difficult to control the handicapped walker over but I could park directly outside our room.

The room was large, bright and clean and had everything that we needed, with a door onto a terrace with a table and chairs and a lovely view over the fields. Just off the A170 outside Kirkbymoorside, the location is convenient for the North York Moors, but it is a good idea to book the restaurant (open Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday lunch) as it is off the beaten track. Dinner was delicious - plenty of choice and good quality food that was well-prepared, served in a lovely room, again overlooking fields with wandering sheep. Breakfast was generous and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking.
Nothing.

Our second stay at Brickfields Farm. We love the rooms, this time we stayed in Rose. Fabulous views with patio door which opens on to a flagged patio with seating to enjoy the views and the wildlife. Our room offered a two seater sofa, a TV with all the channels, large Queen size bed. Plenty of storage space. A small kitchen area and a lovely wet room completed the accommodation. Breakfast was served in the main building and there was also a fully equipped bar. Brickfields Farm offers an evening dining experience on Wednesday to Saturday evening and Sunday lunch. The food was fabulous. The owners and staff were all happy to help and were all very pleasant and friendly. Excellent.

Fabulous accommodation within lovely relaxing and welcoming settings . Room stunning with comfortable beds and amazing wet room which was brilliant for my disabled husband . Breakfast delicious and served with a smile . Hosts really friendly and helpful . Loved the Guinea fowl wandering freely when we were sat on patio .
This is not a negative but would have liked to try evening meal in the resturant but due to being very popular with delicious food it was booked up. Will definitely book in advance before we go again .

What a beautiful property in a superb country location. The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful. Our room was stunning with open views of the countryside through large patio windows. We were lucky enough, as it had snowed, to see the Roe Deer in the fields and hundreds of bunnies and Pheasants. Our room was a suit with everything you need to be super comfortable. Huge tv , electric stove heater with realistic flames, full central heating with thermostat. Bath robes etc etc. we even had a booklet with binoculars to view the local wildlife. We had a bath plus full walk in shower. Our breakfast was in a lovely setting in the main building and was delicious well cooked and served full English breakfast. I would stay there again without any hesitation.
Wish we’d known that we had to book to have a meal in the restaurant as it’s a modest size so we had a takeaway from the local Indian restaurant which was superb. This would not put us off booking another stay, we’d just book a table at the time of booking.

Locally sourced eggs , sausages bacon etc,. Waitress service, freshly cooked food, white table cloths - .. No traffic noise Spacious rooms Separate bath and shower Small kitchen area with fridge with fresh milk and cold bottled water Adequate parking next to rooms
OK for us because we live on a farm and are early risers. be aware that the terrace outside the rooms adjoins a sheep field with guinea fowl - i,e 10ft away - so expect some early morning animal noises. Note there are a lot of tourists in the area and you may need to book for food ,,and some including this farm do not offer food every night.

We received a friendly, warm welcome by the owners. Our room was heated and cosily lit on arrival. Breakfast was discussed and planned with our specific requirements catered for. Comfortable bed with luxurious crisp white cotton linens - absolutely wonderful! Soft generous towels. Welcoming touches everywhere. The whole property is decorated throughout with character and style. We only stayed one night but savoured every lovely moment in this beautiful property. We will be back as soon as the opportunity allows!
That we only had time in our trip for one night!

The relative peace & quiet, interspersed with appropriate sheep bleats and guinea fowl clucking. Sunrise & sunset were spectacular times, and watching the sheep grazing through the evening mist was a high light. The accommodation was very good with a great bed, decent shower and a nice patio area, that we would have liked to use more. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Too many tiny flies..not the accommodations fault, but they got everywhere!

The room was beautifully designed and spacious The bathroom was large with a big space to shower in The amenities (bathroom stuff, biscuits, fresh milk, chilled bottles of water, lots of local information) There's a backdoor that leads to a shared patio area with your own table and chairs I had the windows and door open the entire time I was in the room and didn't get a single bug bite - impressive on a farm! My room was right next to the guinea fowl hutch, and they were quiet and lovely to watch, along with all the rabbits and other birds in the large field behind the room The bed was big and comfortable Breakfast was tasty Everything looked clean
The room felt like an oven when I went in. Can't blame them for the heat, but maybe a fan or air con would help. I understand it's not the most environmentally friendly, but even just opening the windows before arrival so it doesn't feel stuffy at first would be great. The outside patio was unusable because of the heat, so an umbrella or some kind of shade would have been perfect. Something thinner than a duvet to cover yourself with in the summer would have been better, I just slept on top of the blanket but ended up cold in the night These are minor things that would improve the stay, but not deal breakers that would put me off returning!

Owners so friendly and helpful, obviously enjoyed what they did. An amazing eye for detail and everything really well thought through. Lovely glasses in room, good quality drinks and a lovely little container of milk for drinks. Little touches like binoculars and wild life info in rooms and dressing gowns. The room was beautiful decor and well appointed, and loved the patio and outlook. The amazing food, it’s what attracted me to this location, the best breakfast ever, good choices and fabulous quality produce. For us the bistro for an evening meal was a bonus, and once again, amazing food and a warm welcome.
