The location is superb, right in central Liverpool. The room had it's own wifi so you never once felt like it was struggling, the staff especially Rachel was really lovely. The room was great as were it's optional extras (was able to order rose petals a birthday balloon through hotel with ease thanks to the pre check in form / portal). Can't common on the bar or breakfast but wouldn't doubt me if they were superb, and bar looked stunning!
The overall experience was great, only small marks were bed was a little firmer than I prefer, and no holdable shower nozzel, and there was ample plugs but none near the bed.

Brilliant location NCP car park only a few minutes walk away. Nicely decorated throughout. Mini bar good price and nice touch. Cocktail lounge superb and in house DJ was great.
Very dark room, it needs some extra lamps or something to brighten it up. Light switches at the sides of the bed don’t operate properly. Cannot switch the bathroom light on without switching the hallway light on so electrics need sorting out. Hand wash, shampoo and shower gel are all the same product in the bathroom, and the bottles looked very very old, which is a shame because the company that produce these products looks great. Drawer front detached when opening it to get to the hairdryer, this needs fixing, not easy to use the hairdryer as it’s attached to a socket somewhere inside the drawer unit and the cable gets trapped in it whilst sat at the mirror to use it.

We had such a lovely stay! The suite was spacious and perfect for our girlie getaway. Everything was spotless and beautifully kept, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfy, I don’t think I’ve slept that well in ages! Breakfast (we went for the continental) was simple but tasty, and just the right start to the day. Couldn’t have asked for more.
The only small negative was the lighting in the room, especially as the evenings are getting darker. A lamp in the seating area would have made it feel a bit cosier. Overall, though, we couldn’t have asked for more!

We stayed in a superior suite which was such a good size! It was huge - with a king size bed, two large couches, a table with chairs and a large dressing table! The room was spotless and the bed and pillows were really comfortable Location is perfect, very central with a short walk to most places. Lots of places to eat & drink outside
Obviously we knew before we booked but the location is on a busy street with bars and restaurants and our room was on the front of the hotel. Had our stay of been on a Friday/Saturday night we would have either asked to move rooms or changed hotel completely due to the noise. We stayed on a Sunday night so the only noise problem really was the bin men super early in the morning outside! We would have liked breakfast in our room also, as we had seen images online of breakfasts in people's suites however on checking in we were told the trays couldn't be carried upstairs and we would have to come down to the lounge to eat. The rooms are decorated quite dark, and the only lights are two bedside lamps and the lights around the mirror on the dressing table.

The breakfast was very good. The staff were all exceptional , we loved the art deco themed rooms. The room was a great size and the bed very comfortable. The cocktail bar was a nice touch, and the bar staff were great, friendly and helpful.
A wider choice of breakfast, what we had was excellent, looked and tasted good, however I would have liked muesli as a choice for the continental breakfast, plus cream for my coffee as I’m not keen on milk. My husband wanted eggs on toast instead of a full English, but this wasn’t an option.

Pleasant and friendly staff. Spacious. Extremely comfortable and huge bed. Spacious bathroom. Powerful shower. Delicious breakfast with choice of cooked or continental. Room service. Iron and ironing board in room. Clean. Good location with restaurants, shops, cafes and train station all within walking distance. Amazing cocktails served in the bar. Would definitely return.
The only negative would be that the room was quite dark. Plenty of windows in the room but only lamps and dressing table lights. This could possibly be due to it being a listed building. Not sure if it is, but no ceiling lights and original windows tends to lean towards this.

Loved the location, as central as you can get and everything we wanted was within walking distance. The hotel itself was absolutely spotless and the room was gorgeous! The staff were attentive, polite, and welcoming. Fair prices on the minibar with soft drinks at £2. Great selection of drinks. We got our room at a great rate of almost 50% off!! Will be booking again and highly recommend.
Totally get why the damage deposit is required, but would rather not have a hold of £100 on my bank account for a few days. This literally is the only thing I wasn't keen on.

Wonderfully central location. Beautiful old building. Staff super duper and so helpful, especially Rob (@ reception but he seemed to pop up everywhere with a welcoming smile and helpful advice lol) . Central location and there's a real buzz in the street/area Room was very spacious and immaculately clean. Saw some cleaning girls and they were also very friendly and helpful (I wanted a lie in and they were happy just to top up coffee etc).
Our room was on a sort of mezzanine level and unfortunately the lift did not stop there but the stairs were not steep and it wasn't too difficult.

Great Italian barman had a lovely Pornstar martini. The location was fantastic, you could walk everywhere. The King suite was lovely and large and the bed was comfortable. Very nice desk and bar staff. You could sit outside to have drinks and watch the world pass by.
Needed more staff. Had a longish wait to get checked in. No phone in the room so you had to go downstairs to communicate with anyone. The ladies 1st floor communal toilets were filthy on the first day but clean on the 2nd, hence the lack of staff comment. Breakfast was adequate.

Location really good, walkable to the Liver building and the Cavern club literally round the corner! Staff were all friendly and helpful Room lovely and large.
Breakfast was nice (full English or continental option), but it was served in what seemed more like a bar area. We sat on high stools at a small round table, so there wasn't a lot of space for everything on the table. Having said that, some of our friends were offered breakfast room service, which I'm not sure is always on offer, but may be worth asking about.
