The room was spacious with a large bed and a view over the waterfront. All the staff we encountered were very professional, friendly and efficient. Very clean and well equipped. Convenient location, next to James St station and close to the Albert dock and ferry terminal

There were several people "hanging about" in reception area and smell of cannabis around the lifts. We think this Hotel is being used as a hostel of some kind. Not welcoming when returning late at night. This place needs to decide whether it is a quality hotel or a hostel, it can't be both.

Large room with a comfortable bed and all the usual stuff that we like in a hotel room, such as tea & coffee making facilities and toiletries. Bathroom was a little on the small side, but it was fine for our 2 night stay. Location was perfect for the event we were attending, at a venue on the next street, and also close to Albert Dock and the Cavern Quarter

Our tv didn't work, in that it wasn't tuned to any channels and we couldn't tune it, but that could have been weather related so we didn't complain, as there was a storm with heavy rain and high winds at the time we tried it.

Location very central. Just got off the airport bus and 3 mins away,Staff so so friendly. Kettle in room was a fab advantage+ no bother asking for extra milk,/coffee.

The lift took AGES. ONE LIFT out of order ,& one operating for all the guests at the hotel

Clean comfortable room, free good WiFi, hairdryer, iron & board. Good shower, I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews after I'd booked, about homeless drunks, drugs, congregating on the steps reception area, however we didn't encounter any problems with people.yes there were obviously some unfortunate families booked in & sitting in reception, made me sad for them. The reception is manned 24 hours anyway. Me & my teenage daughter felt safe.

Obviously booking.com didn't make it clear the restaurant, bar wasn't open for guests use or advise on the fact the bottom floor was being used as a hostel. The photos & info need updating regarding this as it would definitely put some people off. Its probably more uncomfortable being dressed up going in & out of the building/lifts & meeting people really down on their luck looking really sad. I've been homeless myself with young kids myself years ago so I do know how it feels.

Big spacious room with a huge, bigger than Kingsize bed. Ensuite. Everything was very clean and quiet. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Perfect location for the docks, Tate Liverool and city centre. Weatherspoons right opposite, a great option for breakfast. Very reasonably priced, especially for the time of year ( Christmas).

No bar restaurant facilities on site, but this was to be expected due to it being Christmas day. View of car- park. It was a bit stuffy as it wasn't possible to open the windows. Had to rely on air- con.

Absolutely fantastic location for the waterfront, which was exactly what we wanted. The room was bigger than expected. Clean and great amenities in it. The staff were always friendly.

Struggled to get the tv to work. To be fair we didn’t mention this to staff so they didn’t have a chance to fix it. It was frustrating but didn’t ruin the stay. Other guests were noisy leaving rooms but not sure how much to hotel can change that.

The staff were friendly and willing to help and gave us some great advice on how to get to anfield and back for the Eras Tour. It was absolutely spotless clean. The beds were incredibly comfy and from two chronic insomniacs the blackout blinds and curtains were absolutely brilliant!

The only issues we had was there was only one towel and the aircon wasn’t working as it is under maintenance however there were two fans provided in the room which helped a lot. Although one of the fans was a little worse for wear (missing a leg and the guard fell off) once we got it propped up it was fine.

Close to all the things that Liverpool has to offer. Really handy for the coach station (as we travelled in by National Express). Opposite a Wetherspoons pub so that was useful 😊 receptionist we spoke to was really helpful and gave us extra milk and sugar for our cuppas! Room was clean and spacious and had everything you would need for a short stay

The electrics were a bit dodgy (the lighting for the bedside lamps kept flickering and we were not always sure if we had turned them on or off properly)! Also our tv wasn’t great and one minute would be a perfect picture and the next the screen would have an orange glow!! Neither of the above caused any Issues to our stay though and were only minor inconveniences that we didn’t feel the need to report or complain about.

The location was perfect, the hotel was clean and rooms were modern. Surrounding area was great, docks were 5 min walk as was the shopping centre. Great pub called The Liverpool just a few doors up. The rooms are soundproofed, comfy big beds and iron/board and hair dryer. We were placed on the 5th floor

The Manager seemed like a youth worker !! The hotel is in partnership with the local council and if offering emergency sheltered accommodation. These residents are on floor 1-3 and range from homeless families to single men with drinking problems ie one fell over in reception out of his face! When I shouted at the manager to come and help this man, he just looked at him and offered no assistance until I shouted a second time. There was no apology from management only from the poor man himself but clearly this is a daily occurrence. We checked in for 3.30pm and the hallways were still full of dirty sheets and towels ... no the right impression to create.

Great location, staff are welcoming, nice clean reception area. Room was nice and spacious and was clean. Comfy bed and pillows, it was also quiet at night time we slept really well.

There was a few things that need improvement There was buckets of water on towels in the hallway due to leaks( we have had alot of rain though) The net curtain in our room had come away from the track and hadn't been put back on and we couldn't reach it so it looked a bit tatty. There was a problem with the heating it was freezing cold when we returned at night even though the temp said it was on 23° but there was an additional plug in radiator that we used. One other weird problem was the plug sockets were too low down close to the dressing table so you couldn't actually plug anything in because of the wire 🤣 so doing my hair was a problem.
