Myself my Wife and our two shih tzu dogs have just returned from a two night stay at this excellent hotel which I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND the view from our room onto the bridge and the river was gorgeous our room had all that you would need a tv,shower, kettle etc and was spotlessly clean kept that way by the lovely Denise. The recent referbishment has been done to a very high standard, the rooms, bar area, food looked after by head chef Ben salt and pepper chips best ever, the bar and restaurant service all excellent. The large breakfast served between 8 and 9 will set you up for the day a head. From when we arrived to when it was time to leave you could not have wished for a better team of people to look after you than the staff that work at the Bridge End Hotel this view was put to the test during our stay as my wife and two dogs found themselves locked in our room after the lock failed and I could not get back into my room, within minutes of me informing Denise the team led by Manageress Charlotte swung into action to reassure my wife and to get the door opened this was done in no time at all and the lock replaced. The management treated my wife and I to a meal and a bottle of wine that evening in the restaurant where we were looked after by the lovely Jason the Assistant Manager who had also during our breakfast gave my wife a box of chocolates. To sum up: Lovely dog friendly hotel to stay in, Fantastic warm welcoming staff, Big thanks , Would we come back, Yes, Yes, Yes. Jimmy and Carol De Geir

Great check in and the staff were so friendly and pleasant. The rooms are beautiful, very modern and had tea, coffee and biscuits. The beds are very comfortable. The bar area is lovely and not bad prices for drinks. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and was excellent. You could help yourself to the continental breakfast, juice, tea and and coffee while waiting for your cooked breakfast.

The only thing I didn't like was no blind or curtains on the bathroom window, just a net curtain. We felt a bit uncomfortable getting a shower, as our room faced the main road, so we kept the bedroom door open so it covered most of the window while showering.

Jason and the team are so welcoming. The bar is lively and has a good atmosphere. Good pub grub - reasonably priced, tasty and served quickly. Room was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in and we travel a LOT! We live locally (frozen pipes & home renovations meant we needed a Last minute hotel nearby!) so will be back soon. Great to see the transformation of the Bridge Inn 👏

Could maybe dim the spotlights in the restaurant as there’s lots of other lighting - not a complaint, just a suggestion 🙏

The Bridge Inn was a great find. Central to the towns attractions, great choice of drinks and a lively atmosphere. Evening meal was really enjoyable with a good selection and timely service. Added breakfast for the morning and was not disappointed (again good value). Room was light, well presented and comfortable. Nice extra touches such as full range of toiletries, Full set of towels (inc, face cloth). Bonus was a great view out of our window looking over the River Dee towards the town and the hills.

Lack of car parking was our only issue, but found the Long Term Car Park in town only a 7 minute walk away.

The single room extends from front to rear of the gable end, so it's fairly narrow but quite long. Between the the bedroom and bathroom is a spacious wardrobe. There's a useful long shelf in the bathroom. The best feature of course was the view of the bridge, the river Dee, the town and the hills beyond. Although the room was above the pub's terrace, there was very little noise. Traffic on the road dropped off sharply in the evening. An optional and good breakfast is offered for an extra ÂŁ8.50, otherwise there is a cafe next door. Helpful personnel.

No space for a desk.

Great location, nice rooms, good bathroom, no difficulties or fuss checking in or out. Inclusive full English breakfast and friendly staff. There was plenty of tea coffee, milk, hot chocolate in the room. It was very good value for money

It didn't worry me but there are two quite steep flights of stairs to the room and the bedrooms are relatively small.

The single room was large and comfortable. It took some time to work out that I had to flick a switch outside the bathroom door to work the shower but it was hot. The bathroom, old and in need of a few repairs but overall, clean. I had a comfortable nights sleep.

Don't eat here. The food appeared to be frozen from the supermarket and heated or deep fried. Better places in town for a meal. Unable to find any staff in the morning for checkout or to request left luggage.

beautifully located right near the bridge, overlooking the water and the miniature railway.

I was quoted £69 for one nights stay, on the Booking.com app, but was then charged £99. The breakfast was very tasty and fairly priced, but when checking in, we weren’t informed that breakfast was actually served on the first floor, rather than in the restaurant, where we had our evening meal the night before. We very nearly went to the café up the road for breakfast before spotting other guests sitting in the window. mMght be worth mentioning upon checking in!?

Location, amazing views from the front facing bedrooms, and outdoor tables, overlooking the River Dee, the Steam Engine Rail Station and the mountains as a backdrop. Excellent base for enjoying Llangollen and surrounding area/tourist attractions. Extremely comfortable high quality beds and spotless bedding , towels. Quiet late evening and overnight despite being on a busy route, so we slept soundly.

Some of the decor is a bit dated but OK. New proprieters aiming to upgrade.
