Great location for walking along the canal and visiting the Pontycysyllye Aqueduct Visitor Centre. Very warm welcome by Lyn and Sally. Lyn was also very helpful in ensuring we had essentials in our room, including bringing us a tea and coffee tray, etc. Excellent breakfast. Thank you!

It wasn't clear in the description on Booking.com that there would still be renovation works on the accommodation here. Our twin room wasn't quite ready for overnight guests - the main problem being the absence of essential ventilation as the window was impossible to open. Other minor issues will be easy to rectify, such as providing longer curtains/blinds to cut out early morning light., etc. This place has great potential though!

Location next to the Aquaduct was ideal. The room was large and clean. Host was phenomenal, parking was spot on. Tea room food was very well done, although the American breakfast waffle I had was infused with sugar which made it hard. American advice: It should be fluffy and soft with minimal sugar.

Window in the room needs a custom shade to prevent headlights from the road tracking across the wall. Shower plumbing is is not up on the wall, but set up like an old telephone in a cradle at the bottom. There may be a legit reason for it, but it was odd.

Breakfast was very good. It was pleasant to sit outside and have breakfast with 2 of my sons who joined me after our Parkrun at Llangollen, which was the reason for my journey. (It is about 8 minutes' drive from the Tea Room). Although I did not travel to see the World Heritage Aquaduct Site, it was something that I had wanted to visit when I regularly travelled to North Wales years ago, so it "ticked a box", being 2 minutes walk from the Tea Room. Obviously a great deal of work and effort have been expended in converting the Chapel.

A shaver/socket for my electric toothbrush!

We enjoyed our stay here and we are so pleased that we found it. The location was brilliant, it was clean and comfortable, the shower was great, the breakfast was nicely cooked with delicious local bacon etc, the friendliness of our host could not be faulted. We can recommend!

The twin bedded room was good and comfortable for a one night stay however for longer than one night we'd have wanted an upstairs double with more space. Just to note - there isn't a hairdryer so you need to take your own. Otherwise there is everything you need.

Really good location - right near the Pontcysllte Aqueduct, and a 5-10 minute walk from Tower Hill Barns wedding venue (the reason we booked). Rooms are beautifully renovated and the bed was super comfy and spacious. The food was great! Staff were all so accommodating and friendly.

No real negatives! It was explained that our windows don't open (due to being a renovated chapel) and we stayed on a hot weekend, however, the staff had given us a large fan and left it running for us so the room was cool throughout the night! :)

Location was perfect! Rooms were so clean and spacious. Sally was very friendly and helpful Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again.

The only negative with room 2 was there wasn’t a blind or curtain up at the window and with the dressing table and mirror being next to it, people walking by can see in. It definitely wouldn’t affect us staying again though.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Availability of Tearoom for excellent breakfast and later relaxation with tea and pastry. Proximity to national historic site aqueduct and walk over it, around it, etc. Access to public transportation. Architectural details in conversion from chapel to tearoom. Embedded in local culture and community. Restaurant nearby for supper. Incredible!

The rooms are adequate size but was perfect for our 2 nights stay. Sally was fantastic and really friendly. It is a 5 minute walk to tower hill barns as we where attending a wedding.

unfortunately it cant be helped but there was a lot of annoying flys about in the room but did not ruin our stay.

Breakfast choice and quality was good and the location for the nearby Pontcysillte couldn't have been better. Very comfortable bed and the teashop (open 10.00 to 16.00) was also excellent.

A hand towel as well as the bath towel would be good and the overhead light in the bedroom could be a little brighter!

Breakfast was first class. Plenty of choice. Sally put herself out to buy Wheatabix for me. 2 minute walk to the canal and the famous aquaduct. More than happy with our stay. Plenty of parking.

Nothing. Sally is the perfect host.
