The location of the hostel is phenomenal, directly at Hammersmith Station! Very good value for price! You get a towel and there is even shampoo in the shower, a blow dryer is available at the front desk for free. The heating in the room worked very well and it was cozy during -2 degrees outside!

It’s cold in the shared bathrooms and the toilets where clogged a few times. But it didn’t feel dirty!

Perfect location, 5min walk to underground station with plenty of connections, calm street. Staff doing the best to keep everything clean. Really good value for money.

Next time i would choose a room with private bathroom,if it were available.

Location was great -100m from a major underground railway station, 150m from a few pubs to choose from, 200m from shops etc. The room was as you expect from a 4 person share dorm in a hostel, but it did include our own mini fridge! There were plenty of toilets and showers, and a few basic cooking rooms - oven, microwave, toaster, sink. Everything was very clean.

The walls were pretty thin - heard couples playing music, fighting etc. The mattresses were a little older and so very saggy. Main problem was the doors to every room, toilets, showers etc. Every single door was heavy, and made a loud bang when it shut - every time. I think there were 60 people on out floor, and there were 5 floors, and we heard each person go to the toilet, shower, leave for work/touristing etc. Definitely needed ear plugs.

Really good location, clean rooms, clean bathrooms and kitchens, everything is working. They clean our room every 2 3 days so it was really clean for 1* hotel. If i go to London one more time i think i will go there, Hammersmith station/bus/raiway is really close you have Tesco/Mc Donalds/Primar/Poundland 5 min walk. Really close and easy to go to London centre.

Really noisy on weekends neightbours just sit outside and drink or chat until 1 or 2 am. We were on vacation but if you are going for work you can't sleep well. They need to think to have an internet, its really big building without internet on these days...

Situated just a short walk from both tube and bus routes this hostel is ideally located to travel around London The many shops and eateries along king St are a short walk . TheThsmesi only5 mins walk with lots if pubs scattered along the banks. The hostel has 24 hour check in and you can store your luggage in the luggage room. The rooms are clean tidy with fresh linen and a towel for your needs. The showers are brilliant and very hot They have a small lounge where youcan sit abd relax and watch television . At rhe back they have a small courtyard to enjoy Highly recommended

No sky sports hopefully maybe come soon

The Best about ABERCORN House is their LOCATION (near Thames river and London public transport / gets you quickly to the city centre with Picadilly / Circle metro lines (just plan budget for metro because it is pricey or take less expensive buses). I was by mistake put in a mixed room instead of the female one so I asked to change. Got it -> Thanks!

My neighbour - not a young lady (tourist from Japan) - on her request didn't get a bottom bed (bunk-beds) which was free inspite of being told it's reserved... Attn: Reception staff "please stay more understanding to the quests reservations / special requests".

Great budget hotel. Super close to a bunch of places and just off the main road so it's quieter than other places. Hotel itself can be noisy with the fire hotels but otherwise no issues. Communal bathrooms were clean, though clearly have been there for many years and could do with a touch up. Separate cubicles in men's and women's showers + neutral cubicle toliet stalls. All cleaned every morning and soap/body wash/shampoo is provided. Several kitchenettes to each area, all equipped with basic stuff, though if you want to use the oven you'll have to bring stuff yourself. Staff were great and no issues Simple cheap hotel

Towels were small

The location is excellent and the rooms are comfortable particularly the mattresses. The area is very quiet and I had no trouble sleeping here. One thing I really liked is that the corridor lights were on a timer so you didn't have that annoying strip of light under your door all night.

The majority of the staff were friendly & helpful but one member of the night staff was a bit grumpy & unhelpful. Only one pillow is supplied for each bed although the cleaning staff were more than helpful to provide extra ones - this would be difficult if you needed extra bedding when the appropriate staff were unavailable.

location is great for transport around london, and hammersmith itself is lovely! the rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. appreciated having a fridge and cutlery/plates/mugs provided.

We booked this place as it had a kitchen, however pots, pans, and cooking utensils were not provided at all making the stove/oven useless without buying our own. Thankfully the kitchen did have a microwave, kettle, and toaster.
