The hotel was in an excellent location- right in the heart of covent garden. The rooms are exceptionally appointed.. in an English style design by Kit Kemp.. absolutely superb.. the attention to detail with every aspect of the room to furnishings and accessories and room service is second to none. The staff are exceptionally attentive, professional and helpful..

Although a little on the pricey end.. you will not be disappointed.. you definitely get what you pay for with this superb hotel. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Kind and helpfull staff

- It's hard to have a relaxed drink on the outside terrace because of the allowance (homeless?) people asking guests for money. (3 in 15 minutes of wich one was very offensive). I understand that it is difficult but I saw other guests leaving the terrace for it because they felt uncomfortable.

Absolutely perfect location, the best you can imagine. Unexpectedly cozy neighborhood—little shops, bars, restaurants, a quiet street, and all just a two-minute walk from Covent Garden. I can't even imagine staying anywhere else in London now. Lovely room. It's important to have a window facing Monmouth Street. Charming breakfast.

We were offered an upgrade to a larger room despite it being more expensive—with a completely different view, windows facing the street. Thankfully, we decided not to take this option. I think the experience would have been ten times worse.

The drawing room/ library area is a stunning space. The open fires, interiors and comfortable couches make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. Having a drink and playing one of their board games is the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the amazing setting. The staff are all very friendly. Particular thanks to the two porters working out front of the hotel. They were exceptional. At one stage, unbeknownst to us, while we were having trouble finding a cab, one of them had gone up the street to find one for us and then arrived out front in the back of a cab with a lift sorted for us! Amazing service really. They upgraded our room at check-in which was a great surprise. The room was fantastic. We loved the electric blinds and walk- in wardrobe. Bathrooms also lovely.

I usually stay in the St James area, but I loved this location. Perfect for doing lots of theater and ballet, and an excellent restaurant both at the hotel and across the street. The room was very comfortable and the pillows superb.

This is the only place I’ve stayed in some time that did not have simple facilities for making tea and coffee in the room - a kettle and a nespresso or similar machine. As someone who doesn’t eat breakfast but needs morning coffee, often likes herbal tea at night, and dislikes calling room service and waiting around for something so simple, this was a problem, but the wonderful Omar provided a kettle and French press so I could make my own.

The Room was utterly gorgeous, beautifully decorated and spacious, it was also very quiet. The shower was super strong especially for the UK. We loves the lounge and library wth it's games and honestly bar, again incredibly decorated with stunning fabrics. The satff coyld not have been more lovely.

I guess just one thing about breakfast which was really good quality but it's not a quick so If you are in a hurry then I'd head to Starbucks opposite but it you have time then stay and have a relaxed breakfast here.

Lovely boutique hotel with all the bells and whistles in furnishings and a great location in the heart of the Covent Garden area. Staff was unfailingly helpful and friendly. We didn’t eat at the pricey restaurant because the place is surrounded by delightful cafes and casual restaurants as well as cute boutiques. There’s even a chocolate shop two doors down! Highly recommend.

Restaurant is too expensive, particularly for breakfast.

The staff was exceptional and met our every need. This was our second time staying at the hotel and we were greeted like long lost relatives and made to feel right at home. The location is fabulous with easy access to all of the theaters and restaurants in the West End. The hotel has old world charm and we couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be returning to The Covent Garden Hotel on our next trip to the UK! Book your stay there; you won't regret it!

Fantastic. We love the Firmdale Hotels and the Covent Garden Hotel in particular. From the attention to detail decor, fab breakfast and very professional and pleasant staff who can’t do enough for the guests. Kit Kemp is a treasure. There is no hotel chain in the world to match Firmdale. It is truly like being at home but with a full compliment of staff! Love love love it

Breakfast was superb and served conveniently late in beautiful surroundings.

Our new Yers Eve meal wasn't very well attended by the what appeared to be short level of staff. We were in no hurry but for example would have had more drinks if we had been able to get attention. Also my main course was very over salted and this caused no reaction when I pointed it out.
